By Selwyn Duke

Today I will publish two more responses to my controversial piece (it is so because it expresses Truth in an age of lies) "In Defense of the White Man."  One of the emails is positive, the other negative . . . to say the least.  The first one is from Robert, who writes:

Good stuff, Mr. Duke. As a
black male myself, I am really tired of the white race taking a beating. And I
would add that this does not happen in a vacuum. All of this "hate the
white man" stuff is total c***, but more the point, Mr. Duke, the Dr.
Jacksons and Rev. Sharptons of this world have made a lot of money on the back
of racism. Crime may not pay, but racism, now, that is another matter entirely.
Great article and please keep up the good writing.

Robert Hudson

Dear Mr. Hudson,

Thank you for the kind words.  There really isn't much I can add, so I'll just say that I agree with you wholeheartedly.

Now, we'll have to transition from the amiable to the antagonistic as I bring you LA from, I assume, Hawaii.  She writes:

Aloha:

As a black person, it is so easy to hate whitey, and you are a good example why I don't. You ignorance is overwhelming.

Most people when they are ignorant of a subject, they ask. Some
people just assume. If I see a white person wearing a symbol which I was unfamiliar, I would ask.If that white person was dumb
stupid enough to say something referring to the Clan, Klan, whatever that sounds like KLAN, what would that fool expect.

But of course I do not expect you to even realize the KLAN murdered BLACK PEOPLE FOR NOTHING, Whitey!!!

As far as the other ignorant Whitey that would even mention bombing
a Japanese, and is upset, what do you expect. He would jump with joy over one of the most dastardly events in human history done to a people, a race, a culture!!!

But of course, I do not expect you, or any other ignorant White
Person to understand the choice of words were hurtful, and
disrespectful.

There was just recently an incident in a caribbean nation
exaserbated by another Whitey, ignorant, speaking of racial purity!!!

You see, some White People make it bad for all White People, because they are uncaring.

But as you know, ignorance is no excuse for not following the law, THE GOLDEN RULE, so the next time you feel the need to spout about WHITEY, please be more specific, and talk about whom you really are referring to, the children of CAIN, whom you are obviously in the line of birth.

Have a GOOD DAY

Dear LA:

Thank you for writing. I'm glad you don't hate whitey — I'd hate to see what you're like when you're hateful.

I know you cannot be reasoned with, but, for the benefit of the readers, I will address your "points" one at a time.

"it is so easy to hate whitey . . . ."

LA, quite frankly, as the Palestinian/Israeli and Balkan situations, Ruandan genocide and countless other ethnic, religious and racial conflicts have proven, it's pretty easy to hate, period.  It's one of the great characteristic faults of man and the reason why Jesus made forgiveness an integral part of the Lord's prayer.  So, let's be precise: It's so easy for you to hate whitey.

"Most people when they are ignorant of a subject, they ask.  Some
people just assume.  If I see a white person wearing a symbol which I
was unfamiliar, I would ask.  If that white person was dumb
stupid enough to say something referring to the Clan, Klan, whatever
that sounds like KLAN, what would that fool expect."

I don't know, maybe the exercise of some intelligence in an effort to understand what the word means in the given context?  If you would be curious enough about the symbol to ask, why wouldn't you be curious about the meaning of the word "clan" and ask?  Moreover, whatever happened to tolerance and understanding?  You are making your sensitivities the default.  Why should others' cultural heritage be suppressed because you refuse to understand that there are such things as homophones (no, this has nothing to do with your inclinations), two words that sound the same but have different meanings?

The man in question explained that "clan" referred to a grouping of families in his Scottish heritage.  If you believe that even after this he should have been persecuted, you're a twisted individual.

"But of course I do not expect you to even realize the KLAN murdered BLACK PEOPLE FOR NOTHING, Whitey!!!"

Yes, the Klan did –  clans didn't — just like niggardly means "cheap" and is not a racial epithet.  Get the difference?  I think you ought to invest in an unabridged dictionary.  Perhaps your present one is unusually thin and reductive.

"As far as the other ignorant Whitey that would even mention bombing
a Japanese, and is upset, what do you expect.  He would jump with joy
over one of the most dastardly events in human history done to a
people, a race, a culture!!!"

So let me get this straight.  At issue here is a young person of modest means who has paid good money to attend an educational institution.  So, while there he makes a loose comment — just like millions of people do every day — and you think he should be subject to a concerted and long-lasting effort by institution to destroy his life?  Wow.

LA, I want you to ask yourself how many times you've uttered harsh, politically incorrect or insensitive things about other people or groups.  My guess is that the number is pretty high, given that you're human and given the kind of person you seem to be and what you've written to me.  Regardless, should your life have been destroyed because of it?  You need to learn to judge your fellow man without being blinded by color.

"You see, some White People make it bad for all White People, because they are uncaring."

Well, lamentably, in any given race there are some people who make it bad for all members of their race.  Look in the mirror.

LA, since you didn't respond to our email asking if you wanted your name attached to your response, it's possible that you now regret expressing the sentiments contained therein, that you're a bit ashamed of them.  If this is the case, you're probably not as bad as your correspondence would indicate.

Regardless, a prerequisite for spiritual growth is making an honest assessment of oneself.  Don't fool yourself into thinking that you're not filled with hatred and anger, as it oozes from your every pore.  This is something you should address, if not for the best reason, which is for God, or the second best, which is for others, then at least for yourself.

Great job Duke! I often wonder if the people that attack you in emails even read what you wrote. Reasoning skills seem weak amongst many these days, especially when “sacred cows” are involved.

The first guy certainly read what Duke wrote. Maybe he can reason with the second person. And Jesse jackson and Al Sharpton do nothing but hurt blacks with their racial rabble rousing.

Yes, great response. I don’t want to to say much about the second emailer, but I have the utmost respect for Mr. Hudson.
I also have a question for Mr. Hudson – if he reads this. People like AT have been made angry by racial civil rights leaders like Jackson and Sharpton. When you were growing up Mr. Hudson, how did you handle their message? Did you automatically reject it? Did your parents tell you it was destructive?
