Communist Flag
By Selwyn Duke

“Rule one: Never allow a crisis to go to waste,” said Barack Obama’s
chief-of-staff, Rahm Emanuel, late last year. Mindful of this advice,
the left is using our current economic woes to resurrect socialism’s
star – and, by extension, communism’s (Marx identified socialism as a
transitional stage to communism) – by bemoaning the supposed pitfalls
of “capitalism.”

Unfortunately, scared people often glom onto statism’s simplistic message. A little while back I wrote
about communism’s newfound appeal with a younger generation which,
divorced from history, can easily repeat mistakes of the past.

    Nice article Selwyn!
“Rule one: Never allow a crisis to go to waste,” said Barack Obama’s chief-of-staff, Rahm Emanuel…
Funny enough this tactic is right out of the playbook.
Saul Alinsky in the preface of his book “Rules for Radicals” (One of Obama and Hillary’s most formative books), referenced Dostoevski[y]’s tactics (one of the founders of anti-reason) when he wrote,
“They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and chance the future. This reformation is essential to any revolution.”
Do you think this may be why Emanuel wishes to “Never allow a crisis to go to waste.”
Even Obama has been using progressively more apocalyptic language to describe the state of economic affairs. His speak is very un-becoming of an American President, but very reminiscent of other historic world changers, if you get my drift. He already has the power and the post of President, but does it not seem he is still on the campaign trail? He is!
