Germany Stunned by Shooting Spree
http://youtube.com/v/LfDoMzng5fQ
This story is about a teen in Germany, Tim Kretschmer, who went on a shooting spree and murdered 15 people.

Now, in response to this, we'll hear all the usual nonsense. First and foremost, you can bet that the gun-control nuts will use this as a pretext to create even more laws restricting firearms possession. Yet, the real problems won't be addressed.

What are they? For one thing, how much do you want to bet that this teen, who we're told was "depressed" and had been undergoing "treatment," was on psychotropic medication? It's a safe bet, since all or virtually all the young rampage shooters over the last 15 years have been (there are facts about this here).

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be simplistic. I'll be the first to say that the main problem relating to this is the spiritual/moral malaise sweeping the West (of course, that's why so many of these people are depressed in the first place). But I do tire of the shallow, one-dimensional media coverage of these incidents, where there's nary a mention of the undeniable link between the behavior in question and psychotropic medication use.

The news coverage isn't surprising, however. The media hate guns, but you can bet your bottom dollar that a high percentage of its members use psychotropic drugs themselves or have loved ones who do so. Medication is big business.

I'll close with some food for thought. While I don't consider Sweden to be the gold standard for governance, I will mention something relevant here relating to that nation:

Ritalin has been illegal in Sweden since 1971.

Kudos to Selwyn Duke for another piece of valuable and outstanding commentary. I heard his vocal commentary as a guest-speaker on Michael Savage’s outstanding radio program. I have two points:
    1. During BHO’s early term in office, we will hear many stories such as these being blasted into our brains by the Associated Press and the MSM. I am reminded of how Bill Clinton made the problem of homeless people disappear overnight. I recall how the issue of homelesssness was an endless drumbeat of the MSM during the Reagan and Bush 41 years. EVERY freaking time you tuned into the news it was ever-present. The stories and statistics exaggerrated even within the very same day. But once Clinton was elected there was nary a word. How Americans can still permit their minds to be poisoned by such treachery in the MSM is beyond me. I find it no small coincidence that the acronym MSM (for main-stream media) is the same as “men having sex with men”. In both cases are the evidence of a reprobate mind. The echoed stories of “guns gone wild” will serve to soften our resolve for our Constitutional rights that are the gist of the 2nd Amendment to our Constitution. Be on your guard.
Point #2. I have first-hand and personal knowledge and experience of the effects of psychotropic medication. This was the reason that I divorced from the love of my life and the mother of my beloved children. The details are much more complex than this simple statement but suffice it to say that I tried everyting humanly possible to uphold the vow that I made before God Almighty, whose words and instructions I cherish as my necessary food. My ex-wife perished at the tender age of 45 as a result of her addiction. Thankfully, the coroner ruled her death as an accident resulting from her use of multiple prescription drugs. I say “thankfully” because my children are not saddled with an officiation (and corresponding stigma) of what could have been determined as a suicide. The tragedy is that the world lost a vibrant and vital member of its society and my children will enter their adulthood without the mother who gave birth to them and nourished them in their early years of development.
I have heard Dr. Peter Breggin speak on the Michael Savage radio show. He has been summoned and testified as an expert witness in trials condemning the prescription of such medication and he has opined that such usage has more evidence of deliterious effect than it has of positive results.
My anecdotal testimony supports his claim.

Fascinating. I’d come to the conclusion violent video games were giving kids practice in acting out murderous fantasies. The connection to anti-depressants makes much more sense, however; and explains incidents involving those who wouldn’t be the right age/gender for video games. Wonder if the guy in Alabama was also taking anti-depressants?
