Bad Doctor By Selwyn Duke

You're going to be healthy — whether you like it or not. The Obama
administration is pushing for a national healthcare bill this summer
and Democrats in the Senate are responding, with a Health, Education,
Labor and Pensions committee measure that would make healthcare both a
right and a responsibility.

Writes the San Francisco Chronicle,
"The health panel's $600-billion measure would require individuals to
get health insurance and employers to contribute to the cost. The bill
calls for the government to provide financial assistance with premiums
for individuals and families making up to four times the federal
poverty level, or about $88,000 for a family of four, a broad
cross-section of the middle class." The bill passed by a 13-10 margin,
with all the Republicans on the committee voting nay.

Excellent article. Factually correct and philosophically brilliant. It misses the point, however.
Health care “reform” is actually health care “DEform”.
This is not about enriching and lengthening the quality of human life. It is about the control of it.
The facts of the failure of socialized medicine and health care are in plain view. This should not be how we posture our arguments against it. We should address its root cause: Evil.
To consolidate this sort of power and influence (our freaking medical history!!!!!) into the hands of so few is in abject opposition to the design of our nation as proscribed in our Constitiution.
It is therefore more logical for those that are dissatisfied with our health care system to move to some nation that is more suitable to their undrstanding of equity and fairness.
That would be Cuba. Via con Dios, amigo.
