Today's men of the cloth have often been criticized for either dodging the tough issues or, worse still, actually facilitating a left-wing, anti-Christian agenda. That's why the sermon below, given by Father John Lankeit, will be refreshing for many. It's a must-listen homily that only gets better as it proceeds.

As a Catholic, myself, I haven’t heard this Moral Clarity from a Priest in more than 40 years…but what REALLY disgusts me, is the fact that I rarely hear such Moral Clarity spoken by ANY person of Faith, let alone from a fellow Catholic; But I have heard and seen such Moral Clarity, it has usually come from a devout Jew, rather than a devout Christian.

Being a former Catholic and proud of “being former” I find this minister’s sermon inspiring but much too little and way too late. I labored with other faithful Christians in the Roman church for 30 years before realizing that the apostasy was too widespread to make any difference. Roman hierarchy and ministers do not often preach outright heresy but they undermine the faith by ignoring and failing to address many grave moral issues affecting Christians today. Unfortunately, many Dispensationalist evangelicals have emulated their Roman counterparts. My guess is this minister had to obtain permission from his ordinary (bishop) to give such a sermon, he was allowed 19 minutes to speak (instead of the traditional seven minutes), and he will be immediately suspect in every other Roman parish as “radical Trad” for trying to awaken the faithful and call for repentance. As a Romanist, I always found it much more comforting and reassuring to leave it to the hierarchy or ministers to direct my faith and beliefs – until I took personal responsibility for them and fled the apostasy.

I beg you to reconsider your decision, Gregory. Indeed the apostasy is widespread but it is not ubiquitous. There are pockets of faith left, and it is these we must hang on to. Please take the time to watch this video. The WCBOhio YouTube channel will restore your faith in Catholicism.
