Does France Deserve to Burn?

November 1, 2026

By Selwyn Duke In 1811, Joseph de Maistre, a French philosopher who detested the French Revolution, famously said: “People get the government they deserve.” In light of recent events in France and elsewhere, however, something else comes to mind: Do people get the riots they deserve, too? Maybe—sometimes. Now, I’ll preface my remarks by saying…
“Kill Babies, Superman”? New CHILDREN’S Book Calls Abortion a “Superpower”

December 16, 2025

By Selwyn Duke “We’re not pro-abortion; we want it to be safe, legal — and rare.” That’s what the Left used to say, anyway. But that’s really now, well, so 2007. In a way, however, it’s going France one better (read: worse). Its government has just convicted a veteran and father of two for praying silently near an abortion “clinic.” The…
Many Women Are One-issue Abortion Voters — and They’re “Keeping the Democrats Afloat,” Says Writer

October 25, 2024

By Selwyn Duke A startling political phenomenon exists, and it has never been more profound than during this election cycle. That is, if only women voted, Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris would win in a landslide. If only men voted, Republican presidential nominee President Donald Trump would win in a landslide. And one issue that…
