While fielding questions in Iowa yesterday, Hillary Clinton admitted that she would push for amnesty for illegal aliens if elected president.  Of course, this isn’t surprising, as it’s more reiteration than revelation; what is surprising is that she didn’t try to muddy the waters.  Here was Lady MacBeth’s strikingly forthright answer:

"I have been favoring a plan
to citizenship for years. I voted for it in the Senate, I have spoke
out about it around Iowa and the country and in my campaign. And as
president comprehensive immigration reform will be a high priority for
me."

The good news is that she was booed by the crowd.  Let’s hope they boo her when it counts a year from now.

As for Election Day, 2008, people should bear in mind that if both houses and the presidency fall into Democrat hands, we will have scamnesty for illegals.  And please don’t be blinded by party loyalty; facts are facts whether you’re a Republican, Democrat or Independent.  While President Bush has been on the wrong side of this issue, his fellow Republicans in Congress are the only reason why the scamnesty schemes have been blocked up till now.

Getting back to Clinton, if she captures her party’s nomination, look for her to "nuance" this the same way she flip-flopped on driver’s licenses for illegals.  But never forget where her heart lies.

Well great! It’s likely that Hillary will get the Democrat nomination. And, unless another party gets its act together, it’s also likely that the H. will be our next President. But who knows? What is sure is with her at the helm, we are in for changes that will alter America on a scale that will rival that of the 1860’s. I know because of this, a lot of people are going to put their hopes in the Republican camp. I guess it’s one of those lesser-evils choices. Too bad, that is all we are practically left with. I’m afraid that after the next election, the only thing left to say will be…Hasta La Vista America.

Hillary said, “And as president comprehensive immigration reform will be a high priority for me.” What the @%*# does that mean? She uses the word comprehensive to lead her perspective voters to believe she has a big, big plan…one far to complicate for you to understand. She uses the word reform also to confuse the issue. Who will be reformed? The illegal? The border patrol? The immigration laws? Hooray Hillary at least she has planted her battle standard! Firmly in the soil of ambiguity.
