by six black youths. Then there was the case of a white couple that was
gang raped, mutilated and murdered by five black adults.
Welcome to the realm of hate crimes that aren’t hate crimes.

I had to laugh while watching the last YouTube debates when an father and son of African American descent appear in a video asking the candidates “what they were going to do about black on black crime.”
I thought, what kind of answer would satisfy them? How about, “Maybe we should give harsher penalties to blacks who commit crimes.” That would certainly help, but it wouldn’t have gone over so well.
How about, “Place more police in poverty stricken areas.” Nah, that would have come across as profiling blacks as living in the ghettos – sort of a racist comment.
How about, “Let’s convince blacks to only commit crimes against those of other races!” Once again, a very effective solution. It would certainly bring the black on black crime statistics down, but it wouldn’t have played very well either.
Now, I truly feel for these guys. I don’t live in the ghetto and I don’t have a “war in the streets” going on outside my front door. I believe the question was sincere. But what these guys fail to realize is that the problem cannot be solved by policy or law. It is a cultural phenomenon. Laws and policies cannot be written to convince a nation of criminals to stop committing crimes on the black race.
Unfortunately the true answer can only be obtained by changing the very culture itself.
Laws cannot force fathers to raise their kids. Laws cannot force kids to stay in school.
Laws cannot force you to seek higher education.
Laws cannot positive role models on a culture.
Laws cannot force you to stay off drugs.
Laws cannot force morality.
Laws cannot force patriotism.

FYI – The song “Kill d’White People” by Apache…. (The song is very short on his CD.) Well, this song is orginally from a praody from SNL. It was done by Eddie Murphy. The skit is Eddie Murphy acting like a raggae band singing for a group of white people. Very funny skit. Apache took that from SNL – I believe its even Eddies voice on the Apache song. I personally believe it was done in fun because you left out the part, where he says….”Kill d’White People – but buy my record first”. LOL

Tongue, it’s just a joke, huh? What if a white guy made a song telling whites to kill blacks and then said it was just a joke? You think it would get him very far? Imus said something tame in comparison and it didn’t help him, did it? Not only that, but there are lots of lyrics like that and they’re causing many black youths to attack whites. Maybe when it happens to one of your loved ones you won’t blow it off like you are.

The sad truth of the matter is that the past has a way or resurfacing, whether in a positive way or negative. All of the things that blacks, especially, faced during those trying times are now being turned on the race who invented such barbaric interactions. I am certainly not in support of any race of people attacking another based solely on that principal, but things have a way of returning to their roots, and really, no one should be surprised that they are.
