Breitbart: 1 in 4 Girls Has a Sexual Disease

Staggeringly, a recent study shows that 25 percent of American teenage girls — and almost half of all black girls — have a sexually transmitted disease.  Writes Breitbart:

At least one in four teenage girls nationwide has a sexually transmitted disease, or more than 3 million teens, according to the first study of its kind in this age group.

A virus that causes cervical cancer
is by far the most common sexually transmitted infection in teen girls
aged 14 to 19, while the highest overall prevalence is among black
girls—nearly half the blacks studied had at least one STD. That rate
compared with 20 percent among both whites and Mexican-American teens,
the study from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
found.

I ask: What price libertinism?  What is it going to take for people to realize that C.S. Lewis was correct when he said, "Sex isn’t messed up because it was put in the closet; it was put in the closet because it was messed up"?  Need I say more? 

You don’t have to answer that, because I intend to.   On the heels of this story comes one about a high school in Illinois that is requiring its students to read homo-erotic material.  I kid you not.  CNSNews.com tells us:

"Parents
in Deerfield, Ill., are upset that a local high school is using books
in advanced English classes this spring that they say are laced with
graphic sexual content, pervasive expletives and mockery of religion."

Yes, this is precisely what we need.  After all, we’re not Rome under Caligula yet.

    As an african-american I can tell you why almost half of all african-american girls have at least one std. Hip-hop. Plain and simple. I mean what do expect when it only talks about sex, sex, sex? monkey see monkey do. that’s why I don’t listen to it anymore. I mean I know I’m only 16 but hip-hop does things to people it makes them more sexualized. ask any of the girls do they listen to hip-hop and for how long and you’ll know why oh and because the majority don’t have fathers… their is no one their to protect them and their mothers are constanly working (because they have no man to work for them) so no one is their to tell them what they are doing outside of marriage is wrong. One more thing the schools. Ghetto public schools are the worst! They being told on a day to day basis from teachers and peers what to do, think, and wear. Thats why I’m glad I’m homeschooled.

    I just think the schools in the ghetto are nasty, and girls need to clean their vag’s once in a while. Maybe if you tought girls that grinding on some dude at the age 12 or 13 isn’t classy they wouldn’t be having sex at 14. I didn’t learn about STDs till high school, but had been with a girl before that. I’m from the burbs and we didn’t get taught all that much, I could only imagine how the terrible schools in the inner city are dealing with their students passing around STD’s like its candy.

    Inner city african-americans simply need better education because these std’s could really be a problem. seriously I’m talking like an epidemic amoung inner city african americans

    It certainly seems that our culture, black-white…whatever, is becoming more sexually agressive. When kids today are bombarded with TV shows, music and movies that make it seem like the lowest common demoninator of behavoir is what is “cool” then there’s tremendous pressure for kids to conform.
    When groups like “Too Short” and “2 Live Crew” first broke onto the scene, it was big news that such shocking content was out there. Now, if a rapper isn’t talking about how many “ho’s” he’s nailed, or how bad he can treat them – they barely get airplay. Even today’s best rap artists like Jay Z, Kanye, Mos Def, Common and Talib Kwali head down that road at times (gotta keep that street cred).
    We’ll never get back to the 50’s “soda pop” and “bubble gum” days, but man have we strayed far from the good path.

    This is outrageous! Kids nowadays are not taught self love & self respect at home or at school. They are taught that we are animals evolved from apes. Totally absurd!
    They are treated as garbage dumps by the media and entertainment industry constantly dumping trash into their minds and souls. This is just the consequence of such mindsets and attitudes. I take full responsibility as a parent to teach my children that they are created by God and that we all have a purpose here on earth. Teaching goes beyond ABC’s and 123’s. It takes much more time and responsibility to instill values, morals, integrity and build character in children. Unfortunately even many adults are caught up in this “me” generation and are not about to be stinkin bothered by raising their children properly. It is almost like having pets, you feed, clothe, and house them and you are done. I understand how many parents are working 2 jobs and are tired. But we all need to recognize our priorities. Our children are precious and they are our future.

    Until society stops upholding boys and men in their bad behavior, we will never get rid of the spread of STD’s. Most people in society think that it’s perfectly fine for their sons to sleep around, while they expect their daughters to be perfect little angels. But my question to that is, if the girls aren’t sleeping with the boys, then who is left for them to sleep with? My point is that boys have just as much of a responsibility to control the rate of STD’s as the girls do, and besides, if the rates are that high for girls, imagine what it’s like for the boys that infected them in the first place.

    democrat, there io contradiction or hyprocisy in treating the sexes differently. Humans are a naturally polygynous species and the female chooses her mate, not the male. This means a boy or a man having multiple women means he has great power. Also it means the whole objective of controlling human sexuality reduces to controlling female sexuality.

    Arthur, you MUST be a moron. There’s nothing relating a man to great power with the number of partners he has. It instead shows the relation of how slutty he is, and sleeping with multiple partners obviously gives you STD’s. And just for your health information, it is easier for a man to transmit an STD to a woman than vice versa, which is a clear indicator of why we need to curb BOTH sexes’ sexualitites, but especially his if in fact he is expected to constantly sleep around in order to gain the illusion of power.
