A Heroic Congressman Chastises Bailout Czar Neel Kashkari
http://youtube.com/v/UP73cK3GXdo
We tend to look down on politicians, and usually rightly so. But there are some white nights in government's halls, and Congressman Don Manzullo seems to be one of them. Here he is confronted with an automaton named Neel Kashkari, Interim Assistant Secretary for Financial Stability.
Manzullo is upset because getting Kashkari to admit that a $3 million-dollar bonus for an AIG executive is excessive is like pulling teeth. And listen to how Kashkari addresses the matter; he does so without passion, rendering a policy-wonk answer.

This is the problem with government.

How is this fool qualified to oversee our tax dollars if he barely bats an eye at an abomination? Thus, I'll go even further than Manzullo and say to Kashkari: Sir, if you would look at an injustice and discuss it dispassionately, if outrageous doesn't outrage you, there's something wrong with you. You are saddled with a profound moral defect and thus are not only unfit for your job, you're unfit for any job. Your parents obviously didn't raise you correctly.

We need to get the Mandarins out of government.

I am impressed with Don Manzullo from what I see. I certainly hope he is what he appears to be. Mr. KashandCarry looks to me like another example of the “Peter Principle” incarnate. I would pay to see a 1 hour “debate” Don Manzullo versus Barney Frank. Perhaps we can finally get to the bottom of this mess, not so much for our sake since we are already in this mess, but for the sake of our grandkids. We need a crystal clear understanding of this financial meltdown so we can pass that knowledge on. Instead all of the Barney Frank(enstiens) are covering their tracks and protecting themselves at the expense of future generations. That is selfish and greedy, but what’s new.

Kudos to Mr. Duke for reporting this and kudos to Rep. Manzullo for his grilling of this empty suit. Applause to my friend Walt on his witty post.
Was that House Speaker Nazi Pelosi nodding off in the background? Did you see how often her eyes blinked and rolled? (If you didn’t notice, watch the video again). I demand a drug test for EVERY sitting member of Congress. You should too. Speaker Lugosi appears to be crazed. In other speeches, her enunciation is slurred and incoherent. This woman is third in line for the Presidency and she appears to be under the influence of dangerous psychotropic medication.
I am subject to drug testing. Maybe you are too. As supposed “public servants”, should not Congress be subjected to drug testing and should not the American people be able to judge (and subsequently elect/re-elect) them on these “ahem” merits? Make the results public. NOW!
From a casual glance, it appears that the inmates are running the asuylum. From the results, the evidence is clear.

The three million will never be given back. It is already in the DNC, just like Franklin Raines’ “bonuses” at Fannie May. This is one of the keys to prepetual power (dictatiorship), in a “democracy.” We are getting killed with our own bullets.
