O'Reilly and Slate.com's Joan Walsh Go at it Over Tiller and Late Term Abortions
http://youtube.com/v/6Z-zl-exifk
I don't know if any of you caught this O'Reilly segment last night, but Joan Walsh of left-wing e-rag Salon.com epitomizes everything that is wrong with the media. I'm not sure if she's worse than that odious foreigner Arianna Huffington, but she certainly gives her a run for her money (which, incidentally, Huffington has a lot of).

Walsh is a truly dishonest, vile, annoying woman. I feel sorry for her husband.

Wow! With apologies and all due respect to my critic “Disappointed in you”, this woman is a hag.
One comment jumped out at me: her claim that she is a “Pro-Choice Catholic”. What blatant dishonesty! There can be no such thing. I am not a Roman Catholic, but I am aware of Roman Catholic doctrine on the sanctity of human life. Joan Walsh cannot be both Catholic and Pro-choice. The positions are mutually exclusive and Selwyn Duke rightly calls her a liar.
I also take exception with the dishonest and deceitful term “pro-choice”. There are dozens of “choices” such as abstinence, contraception (and the myriad of “choices” thereof), adoption, and birth. The fetus, a living human, is given NO choice whatsoever.
Furthermore, EVERY living organism, from a single-celled amoeba to the magnificently complex human embryo would choose life, given the choice. EVERY one. Those that support this brutal practice are nothing more than ghouls. May God have mercy on their souls.

Here’s a simple solution for those of you that disagree with abortion…..If YOU don’t like abortions, then don’t have one! No one should have the ability to tell an adult what they can and can’t do with their own bodies, or the products thereof. I personally don’t agree with abortions, but if someone wants to have one, it’s no skin off my nose. It’s a personal decision in which only GOD can judge. The world would be a much better place if people clean the skeletons out of their own closets instead of worrying about what other’s are doing.

All your really preaching is reletivism. Can I do drugs or buy a prostitute? Where are the lines drawn? What If a 10 year old wants to have sex with me? Who is the state to say he/she isnt old enough to decide? People care about abortion because it effects society.

Actually shaun, I’m not “preaching” reletivism, it’s actually common sense. If marajuana is the “gate-way” drug that the government has consistently told us that it is, then why do they sell it? Is it because these people are sick and dying anyway, so who cares if they utilize heroine on their way out? Prostitution is illegal in most places, but not in Las Vegas. Does that mean that it’s any less immoral in that area, or are the rest of the cities across America behind times? Many 10 year olds want to drive cars, but adults know that they are incapable of doing so responsibily, and not to mention, it’s against the law (who fortunately tells them that they are not old enough to decide). Abortion doesn’t effect society, because when one person has an abortion, ALL in that same society are not having the same abortion. This makes that comment both stupid and ridiculous. Like I said before, if someone doesn’t like abortions, then they shouldn’t have one, and from the looks of it, you wouldn’t need to worry about it anyway. Mind your own business, and clean up your own area, because I’m sure that you have done some things that “society” can say effects them.

Polysci obviously is ignorant of the history of the abortion movement. Let me clue you in:
Planned Parenthood was founded by a disgraceful hag named Margaret Sanger. Her goal was eugenics, i.e. the elimination of the Negro race, which she deemed inferior. Her movement was gaining momentum with Leftists in America until an inconvenient incident occured: An Austrian interloper named Adolph beat her to the punch. He and his socialist Nazi party felt the same way about Jews (and Christians and anyone else that opposed his nefarious prioritization of the Aryan people). They took control of Germany and stuffed these “inferior” blights on society into ovens and gas chambers. As much as you might tempt me, Polysci, I would never do this to you. I am not so certain that the reciprocal might be true.
This set the hag Sanger aback, but it did not stop her. She simply renamed her intent for the ethnic “cleansing” and elimination of the Negro race “choice” and we all lived happily ever after.
Today, Planned Parenthood locations are abundant in black neighborhoods and, I believe, the statistics are in the area of 70% of all abortions performed are on black babies. This is a travesty.
Polysci is a moral relativist when he/she states that abortion does not hurt society. How dare you? How infantile your proclamation is! To abort a beautiful baby, whose skin might happen to be dark (or any other precious human life form), might have denied the rest of us the genius and contributions of the next George Washington Carver, Frederick Douglas, Ralph Bunche, Clarence Thomas, Thomas Sowell, Walter E. Williams, Alan Keyes, Jack Johnson, Jackie Robinson, Joe Louis, Louis Armstrong, Willie Mays, Willie McCovey, Henry Aaron, Dr, Martin Luther King, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Nnamdi Asomugha, Stevie Wonder, Berry Gordy, Muhammed Ali, Chuck Berry, Ray Charles, Charles Barkley, Bill Cosby (shall I go on?) to our society and to our culture.
The legacy of the luntaic hag Margaret Sanger lives on through the ignorance and historical ineptitude in minds like that of Polysci. Shame on you and your vocal support for a culture of death.
    “Disapointed”, how am I doing?

I doubt that polysci understands that a heartbeat can be detected in a human fetus just eighteen days after conception. I find it doubtful that polysci has ever seen a sonogram of a developing human embryo like I have of my own children. I pity you if you have never experienced the miracle of human life (or anyy other life, for that matter).
I wish to offer polysci an olive branch: There is a book entitled “Unprotected: A Campus Physician Reveals How Political Correctness in Her Profession Endangers Every Student” acredited to “Anonymous, M.D.”. Before you respond with your childish insults, I implore you to read.
In this harrowing volume are the real life accounts of women and men who have suffered from the decision to undertake the horror of what you so callously dismiss. How could you argue that life is not precious? And how could you possibly defend the indefensible?

Actually philip, my online stalker, Sanger was inspired to start Planned Parenthood after the deaths of her mother, who died of poor health, and a patient of hers, who died in childbirth. Actually, she was more obsessed with the poverty and class aspect of eugenics/abortions than the elimination of a particular race, so please, let’s not make this a “black thing.” She had no respect or consideration for anyone who didn’t fit into her personal model of human, which included the handicap, Jews, Catholics, the poor of ANY RACE, and possibly racial minorities, however, she didn’t agree with Hitler and his manner of eliminating the Jews, as she even went publicly on record of saying such. You proclaim to be one of so much intelligence and historical eptitude, but exactly how much epitude does it take to play the victim? The black Americans that you have named have in fact contributed positively to society, but if you think about it, how many cars throughout history have been draped by the license plates made by Tyrone, Jamar, and Malik? Perhaps you have made a few yourself! I doubt that you have any education outside of one of institutionalization at the taxpayers’ expense, which is why you have a problem thinking critically without being critical. Two can play this game and I really didn’t want to do this, but you leave me no choice but to expose the idiotic, imbecilic diatribe you profess as conversation. Next time sir, I suggest you speak as a disagreeing adult and less like the orangutans Sanger wanted to rid the world of.

If you are speaking of the “stop snitching” campaign going on in the ghettos, it is ONE of the problems that makes the ghettos such crappy places to live. But in case you haven’t noticed, drug dealing and murder are two illegal crimes, whereas abortions are not. And although you may personally view abortions as murder, up to a certain point, the government disagrees, and therefore, what you think doesn’t matter. Until you stop doing things in your personal life that people may find objectionable, how can YOU judge anyone? You people need to get off of your high horses and realize that life isn’t so hunky-dorey for everyone, and I’m sure that the recent example of Bristol Palin proves that preaching abstinence is “unrealistic.” And whether you want to admit it or not, she would have had an abortion if her mother wasn’t in the public eye. The funny thing is, while her mother was on the campaign trail speaking against abortion, her knocked-up teen had all the choices that her mom was trying to take away from everyone else. And this is the point……let people make their own minds up about what’s best for their own lives without you hypocrits sticking your noses in.

Look…nobody supports killing babies. But, that parasitic thing growing inside some slut, ain’t a baby till it slides our of that foul vessel and begins on the journey that will lead to its eventual highest accomplishment; that of taking up a parking space in some suburban mall.
You’d think that here in America, unlike some fly-infested-third-world-dung-pile, where we have access to the fruits of every variety of modern pharmacology, that abortion would be the last thing on a very long list of options that range from keeping the upper legs together; to of course, the love glove: to yes, the pill (morning after and otherwise.) But no…These two-legged brood mares still manage to fulfill the greatest wonder of nature every time they go out on a date.
And if Right to Life gunmen continue, with any regularity, to blast doctors that correct their errors of judgment, we are going to be flooded with a sea of idiots genetically similar to the dimwits that produced them. Eventually, it will completely impossible to get on the freeway because they all will be in their junk cars headed to the mall to take up that final parking space.
So, unless you’ve got a solution for these pregnant-pigs that doesn’t involve a suction procedure, were going to have to live shoulder-to-shoulder with their products of conception. (Hell…Jose and Maria alone could produce enough offspring to keep the Sombrero Factory busy for the next forty years.) I know human congestion isn’t a problem out there in Boil-On-The-Ass, Idaho where you take your Bible study classes. But, it’s crowded on my block.
There is an answer to the population problem though that doesn’t involve even the slightest form of personal effort, discipline or medical intervention. Simple…you take all the boys in the country between the ages of ten and eighteen and put them in the Seminary. By the time they get out, their interest in procreation will largely be curtailed and the Boy Scouts, Big Brother, and every Little League team in the country will have enough coaches, mentors and troop leaders to satisfy the needs of each respective origination forever.

You further add that, “This just proves that ALL of you idiots who are brainwashed by Fox news “. I, for one, do not watch FOX news (nor any other television news). It begs the question that do you get your news from sissies like Chris Matthews or outright lunatics like Keith Olbermadmann from MSLGBT when you say, “incapable of independent thought”?
Finally, you write, “That doesn’t sound too “tolerant” to me.”. Would you kindly re-read your own posts and justify your own “tolerance”?.
You spew vapid talking points that have no substance in truth or morality and no factual basis whatsover. I pity you. I feel genuine sorrow for how dark and empty your soul is and how angry you must be. Non compos mentis.

    Dear polysci,
I know of the poisonous and deceitful rantings of Matthews and Olbermann because I READ about them from trusted sources. I am also keenly aware of the homosexual agenda because I have read about it from two entirely divergent vantage points: 1. “After the Ball” by Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen and 2. “The Homosexual Agenda” by Alan Sears and Craig Osten. I do not claim to have the highest IQ nor do I consider myself an intellect but I AM learned on this subject.
Perhaps you might follow my example (of considering radically diverging opinions of controversial subjects). At the very least, I can guarantee that you would learn a great deal about tolerance.
As for upholding standards; I try. I fail sometimes; more often than I care to admit. This is the flaw in human nature that we are all subject to. This is why I seek forgiveness from the Almighty and I am thankful that He has given His only begotten son that I might have such access. It is also why I passionately defend and speak out for the United States Constitution, our rule of law in the country, as it was originally intended and written: the most Godly document written by mortal man in the history of mankind.
The Founding Fathers of our great nation understood, as I do, that mortal man is severely flawed, as I am. They designed a system of government that would safeguard against these flaws, which would be exacerbated by its leaders having the power over the lives of the governed. I invest hours upon hours studying the works of Constitutional scholars such as Clarence Thomas, Robert Bork, Ellis Washington, Kenneth R.C. Gutzman and Mark Levin to broaden my base of knowledge for this great Republic that I had the good grace and unspeakable fortune to have been born in.
I have also invested years of my life in studying The Holy Bible so that I know what our Creator has prescribed for His creation.
In my prior post, I promised that I can help. My offer still stands.

Well sir, since you have spent so much of your time reading the Bible, then I’m sure you’re familiar with the phrase, “Judge not..” God doesn’t need any help from you as to whether He’s going to condemn someone or forgive them for the personal sins that they do. And, whether you like it or not, abortion is a personal sin, and I’m pretty sure that since there are no degrees of sin, abortion is no different in God’s eyes than stealing.
Perhaps you are so “learned” on the subject because you can identify more readily with their agenda. You cannot rightfully call MSNBC the name you called them just because they hired ONE anchor who is a part of that community. For this simple fact sir, it is extremely hypocritical of you to call someone else intolerant when it seeps through your posts. Poly,
The old “judge not” phrase has been used out of context way too much. It is Gods job to pass judgment based upon the guidebook of morality he has given us (The Bible), and our individual ability to comprehend its intentions. This perfect judgment is only possible by God. When you say “Judge not” that is your attempt to silence all moral conversation but that is not the intent of the author. The Bible is a guide book to moral living (amongst other things). When one makes another aware of his moral contradictions to the Bible he is not judging that person since he is not the judge.
Example-If two truckers are heading down the highway one at 55mph and one at 75 mph with a speed limit of 55, and the trucker that is doing 55 radios over to the speeder to make him aware of the legal limit, he is not judging him but merely passing on the truth.

What if one of those truckers was like, really strung out on meth; And because he was in the grip of, essentially one whopper of an amphetamine psychosis, he blasts by the nice-responsible-trucker who carefully tried to remind him of the lawful speed limit; And this bug eyed, clench jawed maniac slams into a school bus – mangling forty-five first-graders coming back from a field trip.
    The question then is:
Is the drugged out trucker doin’ seventy-five culpable of a traffic violation, even if he’s in no shape to comprehend the authority and meaning of the 55 mph speed limit?
You know a question like that just may come up before that Soto Meyer lady if she’s put on the Supreme Court.

Aside from your startlingly profound analogy of a leftist’s rejection of reason and truth, do you not agree that the use of “judge not…” is most typically used way out of context?
As far as Judge Soto I am afraid you did not provide enough info for her to make a judgment, were the kids poor and of minority status or were they white kids on a home schooling field trip? I am sure such information would make the decision easier for her based upon her past judgments and comments.

    Dear polysci,
Once again, your “judge not” argument has no substance. Do you know of the chapter, verse and context that this expression was made? Have you examined the Greek and/or Aramaic or Hebrew word it was translated from? I didn’t think so.
We ALL judge. This what distinguishes us from animals, my friend. You have judged me, and in your opinion you have found me lacking. Okay, I’m fine with that. We disagree. Disagreement and lively debate is healthy for a civil society, wouldn’t you agree?
You cleverly suggest that I am a closet homosexual. Allow me to assure you that I am not. In fact, the lady that I adore is quite beautiful and very feminine. She and I disagree on a host of subjects but we mutually have the respect of each other’s opinions and we mutually value both.
I regret that our exchanges have taken on an antagonistic tone. I attribute this to the facts that we are posting anonymously and electronically. Neither of us have the benefit of observing voice inflection, body language and facial expressions that occur during face-to-face debate. This makes such an exchange a sort of “intellectual face-off” to which there can be no end.
This conversation began with my critique of a woman indefensibly defending late-term abortion; a hideous and savage practice. I would bet that if you and I engaged in personal, face-to-face debate on this subject that we would agree.
I promise that I would not brush the lint off of your pants.

Again and again you spew the “judge not” line. When ironically you judge us for judging. Read the whole scripture next time and know its meaning. The ENTIRE context is…..
Mat 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. Mat 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Mat 7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Mat 7:4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Mat 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
Its a warning to not make rash, hypocritical, or harsh judgments. To judge RIGHTEOUSLY. And seeing how murder is one of the 10 commandments. Id say that a woman murdering a healthy baby, simply because she doesn’t want it, when she made the choices to get pregnant, gives us the right to say “What you are doing is wrong”. And again, you keep saying that we cant condemn them. Who said anything about condemning them to hell? You are just putting words in all our mouths.
Ill bet you think “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone” was a commandment/teaching as well.
I imagine you judge people on a daily basis anyway. I imagine if someone stole your wallet youd scream something like. “YOU CANT DO THAT, THATS WRONG.” Or am I wrong? Would you just take it in stride and say “Oh, god will judge them, I have no right to do so”. I think not. Oh, but I know what you are going to say “but stealing is illegal”. So? You have clearly established that the legality of something has no merits on judging someone. Whether its technically legal or not, if you think what they are doing is wrong, its judging them.
So, why dont you just do us all a favor, and “clean up your own mess” before you tell us to clean up ours. Hypocrite.
Oh, and there are degrees of sin. Just because any sin will keep us from entering heaven, doesn’t mean there aren’t “degrees” of sin. Some sins are easy to repent from, some are harder. One is almost impossible. One IS impossible. If you don’t see that as “degrees” of sin then you are truly blind. I really doubt you are an actual christian anyway, let alone a really poor one. But if you are an actual christian, i suggest you read the bible and learn its context and meaning and not just quote out of context one liners from it.

MESSAGE TO YOU DAN: The next time you want to appear to be knowlegeable about something in opposition to me, I would suggest you use something that doesn’t agree with what I’ve been saying. You only look more like the idiot amplified by doing what you just did:)
And furthermore, outside of THE unforgivable sin, there are no degrees of sin. I thought that you would be capable of reading between the lines, but I suppost I expected too much from your very limited ability.

Polysci (the blue one…err real one),
Okay, so I am confused. I know, I know, Im not an intellectual demi god like you, but I would like you to clarify your position for us mere mortals. By your translation I should not judge anyone for anything. For example, some dudes break into my house, break my legs, and rape my wife. If I think to myself “gee golly, those guys really arent very nice” does that make me bad in your book? Or am I only bad if I scold my wife afterwards for asking for an abortion?
The sarcasm aside, why have laws and punishments if we are not going to judge anything. Like I said your preaching reletivism. To me the argument for abortion is an argument to commit murder for convienance. Yes, Im judging. Im not attacking people who have abortions or doctors who do them. Im standing against an evil institution that destroys life in a futil attempt to remove the consequences of one’s actions.
But, Im just a dumb redneck who murders doctors, hates jews and admires Sarah Palin. What do I know?
BTW, Dan, your post was excellent.

In all honesty, someone invading YOUR personal space, YOUR wife, and breaking YOUR legs has nothing to do with someone having an abortion…it’s THEIR bodies, THEIR baby, THEIR mistake. If you can’t understand the difference between something happening in your own life versus someone elses, then you being a dumb redneck who admires Palin is an accurate assessment.
Sarcasm aside…there’s a major difference when a judge sentences someone for committing a crime, and someone who judges all people who have anything to do with abortions as “baby-killers” and “sluts who don’t want to have babies.” The first is an actual judge, and the second is a moral judge, in which there’s a reason that we have a legal court system and not a moral court system.
