Back to School with Obama: Educational Talking Points 101

At high noon today, EDT, Barack Obama issued a challenge to
America’s schoolchildren. In his much anticipated back-to-school
speech, he appealed to students to stay in school, work hard, set
goals, and not use personal crosses as an excuse to fail.

It was, by and large, a message so positive that critics could find
it disarming; and casual, middle-of-the-road observers could wonder why
there was so much fuss over the event in the first place.

    The rest of the article is the text to Obama’s opening salvo in his attempt to recruit our children to his “Obamunist” revolution (I doff my cap to “Jimmy”, the frequent caller to the Savage Nation for this term).
    The speech itself was devoid of anything blatantly Marxist. It was venal sophistry.
    Let’s hear it for Congressman Joe Wilson, who let it rip with what so many millions of Americans were thinking during BHO’s speech to a joint session of Congress.
    Right on, Joe!!!!!!

    Mea culpa, John and thank you. Unfortunately, I have come to the same experience as Walt and Shaun.
    I encourage all of Selwyn’s readers to conduct a web search of Senators who voted for the confimation of lunatic psychopath Cass Sunstein. You should demand that they be drug-tested and then resign from their offices.
