Obama’s Henchmen

The big questions now surrounding Barack Obama’s triumvirate of
scandals is “How much did he know?” and “When did he know it?” Former
presidential advisor David Axelrod made the point that the government is
“so vast” that the president can’t possibly know all that transpires.
Of course, this is one of the best arguments against big government a
leftist ever put forth, yet the truth is that Axelrod is right. But this
brings us to an important, and usually ignored, point.

Obama knew what his underlings were (or should have known) when he picked them up.

My phraseology references an old American Indian tale about a little
boy who, after doing a rattlesnake a series of good turns, was
nonetheless bitten by the serpent when the charitable endeavors were
complete. When the lad registered shock and asked why the snake would do
such a thing, the rattler replied, “You knew what I was when you picked
me up.”

    In Obama’s Henchmen, Selwyn Duke has analyzed the workings of Obama and his administration in a way I’d not seen before. I find it intriguing even if I’m not sure I accept some of his premises. (For instance, when the Sustainability angle is not considered in the mix of premises, what seems bizarre isn’t really, and that is due to the misanthropic morality that the Sus crowd has embraced.)

These so-called “Obama scandals” are COMPLETELY MANUFACTURED, and have been concocted to distract the gullible right-wing public fromt he REAL scoundrels, the abominable GOP – which has morphed into the most evil,corrupt and dangerous organization on the planet . It has been hhijacked by the American Taliban, the religious right .
    The GOP is being held hostage by the stupidest,most ignorant, bigoted, narrow-minded,intolerant, self-righteous and fanatical jerks ever to serve in congress and as governors, moronic scum like Sarah Palin,Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry,Rick Santorum,James inhofe, Louie Gohmert ,Ken Coo-coo Cuccinelli ,Allen West and other pathetic excuses for politicians .
    The Benghazi scandal ? Over 50 Americans were killed in terrorist attacks on U.S. embassies during the catastrophic presidency of the pathetic Goerge W. Bush , and there was not a peep from GOP pols in congress or naywhere else among the right .How hypocritical can you get ? Obama is hardly perfect,but he is America’s only hope against the onslaught of the evil GOP and religious right, which threaten to turn America into a Christian theocracy which would be little better than the Islamic theocracies of the middle east .

    When was the last Christian theocracy? When was the first? In all of history? I am an educated, evangelical (althoguh admittedly unorthodox) Christian. I know of no one, I repeat NO ONE, who advocates for a Christian (or any other religious) theocracy. Those who you decry call for morality – a concept that you clearly do not understand because you have a reprobate mind.
    Selwyn wrote this: “One not only can be both evil and incompetent, but the two qualities are, in fact, almost always intertwined. Why? Because to justify their behavior, evil people have to continually rationalize away Truth. This means they have to habitually lie to themselves about what reality is — and when you do this long enough you fall out of touch with reality.” And it clearly applies to you. So does the Epistle of St. Paul to the Romans in chapter 1, verses 18-32.

    Many evangelical Christians DO want theocracy, or something dangerously close to theocracy in America even though they dney it . There HAVE been Christian theocracies in Europe, such as Spain during the Inqiuisition ,and they treated non-christina swith the utmost brutality .
    Evangelical Christians in are calling for “morality?” WHOSE morality ? Not everyone agrees on what is moral . The bigotry of so many Christians toward homosexuals and their ill will toward them, the vicious,ugly and stupid things they say about homosexuals is NOT moral .
    The intolerance of evangelicla Christians to those hwo do not share their narrow and rigid religious views is NOT moral .
    I’m certainly not perfect, but no one who knows me would say I’m a bad or evil person,including my friends who happen to be Christian . I have no desire or intention to deprive people of their civil rights merely because they happen to be homosexual. I don’t hate Christians, but I do dislike SOME of them,not because they are Christians, but because they are appallingly nasty, mean-spirited, ignorant, foolish, intolerant and self-righteous people. I don’t condemn anyone merely for being a Christian .

    Oh C’mon,
    People who go by the book (Bible) are not espousing a “viewpoint” or some contrived morality put in place by Christians consenting together to make it a rule.
    It is the inspired, God given mandate of the creator God who has labeled all forms of homosexuality a perversion that is an abomination.
    If you don’t believe in God then it follows that this will mean nothing to you, but for those who do it is the will and counsel of God and will be followed to the letter. It is no longer, and perhaps it never was, about Christians rejecting homosexuals, but now it is about gays rejecting God and anyone who chooses to follow and obey him.
    My advice stop whining.

    Obama and Bill Ayers barely know each other. They served for a time on the same committee at a University in Chicago, and that is the extent of their relationship. Yet the appallingly dishonest right-wing media has lied through its teeth and made it look as though Obama is a close associate and follower of over the hill 60s radical terrorists, which is idiotic .
    The Puritans in New England had a Christian theocracy . In Spain at the etime of Columbus, Jews had three options; convert to Catholicism , leave or be executed .
    What the Bible says about homosexuality is nothing but ancient superstition. Yet so many Christians use this stupid ancient superstition as an excuse for bigotry against homosexuals .
    According to the right in America -“All men are created equal-except for homosexuals. They don’t want gays ot serve in th emilitary, join the Boy Scouts, get married to each other, and many don’t want them to be allowed to teach in public schools . DOMA is nothing but a smokescreen for the bigotry of the right in America. marriage does not need to be defended – it’s the rights of gay Americans which are threatened,not marriage .
