The most persistent characteristic of the political left is that of untruth. Take all of the icons of modern liberalism (abortion, faux “marriage”, gun control, global warming, to name just a few) and reality is quite the opposite of their positions. They have mastered the use of obfuscation, delusion, misinformation, disinformation and outright lies to conceal their true agenda.
One of the SDS revolutionaries, in a moment of rare candor, let the proverbial “cat out of the bag” by saying, “The issue is never the issue; it is always about the revolution”. Benign liberals cleanse themselves emotionally by promoting what their Leftist puppet-masters truly intend: chaos. The ensuing chaos will result in the loss of liberty for all (including those who bring it about) and the end of what is left of a free market economy. Once again, be careful for what you wish for.
