Move over Barack Obama. There’s a new kid on the block in the realm of “firsts”: Sadiq Khan (shown), Labour Party politician, has just become the first Muslim mayor of a Western capital, having won London’s May 5 election. Rachael Dolezal identified as a black woman, but she was convinced or her error by blacks who said she couldn’t possibly ever be truly black because Bill Clinton had already taken that honor. I suspect that if Rachael had claimed to be,oh say, Polynesian even the NAACP would have endorsed her and accepted her with open arms. But alas, she went with the wrong identity and now her 15 minutes of celebrity are over.
