Were “election irregularities” in Austria’s presidential election on Sunday actually vote fraud? Did EU elites use extreme tactics to steal the election from a “fed-up” electorate that is rebelling against the EU-imposed migration onslaught, economic stagnation, gestapo-like political correctness, and bureaucratic regulatory tyranny? That may well be the case.

The razor-thin election result in Austria’s presidential race last Sunday was heralded by EU politicians and the establishment media worldwide as a hair-breadth “escape” from a “far-right” takeover. When the live vote was counted Sunday night, the result was too close to call. Would Austria’s next president be “far right” Norbert Hofer of the Freedom Party or the “moderate” socialist Green Party candidate Alexander van der Bellen? The result would be determined by postal votes, with nearly 900,000 Austrians — 14 percent of the voters — casting their ballot by mail this year. On Monday, the tabulation of the mail-in vote was announced to be in van der Bellen’s favor, by a mere 31,026 votes, or 0.6 percent. According to election officials, van der Bellen had squeaked out a 50.3 percent of the vote total to Hofer’s 49.7 percent.

There were immediate charges by some Freedom Party supporters that the election had been “stolen.”

To the extent that fraud is believed to have occurred and to have been decisive in the Austrian presidential elections, the legitimacy – public confidence in – of the political systems in the West is weakened. When sufficient weakening has occurred, local populations will resort to open, systematic and unremitting violence. Why? Simple: when they become convinced that (1) their culture is being destroyed for whatever reason, (2) that their political leaders are either corrupted beyond redemption or incompetent beyond improvement and (3) that their national elites are – for whatever reason – acting in concert with their ethnic or foreign enemies to destroy their nation, the populace will see no other alternative apart from surrender. This brings to mind the old pun on the Hegelian dialectic: the process consists of three steps: these, antithesis, prosthesis.

Error correction: the last phrase ought to read “..thesis, ” etc, not “these”.

Those of us not named Robert Berger understood your point. Voter fraud in U.S. may be even worse. We have mail-in ballots, but no one checks to see if the 300,000 some-odd mail-in ballots in cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco have submitted mail-in ballots. How else to explain utter morons such as Nancy Lugosi and Barbara Botoxer winning in landslides every time? Even the fruits and nuts that surround me here in California are not that stupid.
Every “voter reform” initiatives that have ever passed favor Democrats, whose voter rolls include welfare leeches, illegal immigrants, convicted felons, lawyers, union members, academia, low-information minorities (and non-minorties, for that matter) the malfeasant “midstream” media and the moronic, but often talented Hollywood media.
It is my personal observation that, if not for voter fraud, Democrat politicians would not be elected to office ANYWHERE in the US.
