Joe Biden “gave the speech of a dictator, in the style of a dictator, in the visual of a dictator, using the words of a dictator.” So said former Trump aide Stephen Miller in response to Biden’s Thursday address, a speech that should live in infamy. In it Biden claimed that MAGA supporters were a threat to our Republic, though now he’s walking back his statements. But is this a bell that can be un-rung?
And, in truth, Biden did illustrate well the threat to our civilization — the one he and his leftist handlers pose.

The attack on sexual morality predicted almost 100 years ago has intensified to the point where it’s an overt attack on kids — on their minds and souls. The latest example comes courtesy of a whistleblower and insider documents, writes journalist Christopher Rufo, informing that the “largest children’s hospital in Chicago has created partnerships with local school districts to promote radical gender theory, ‘kink,’ ‘BDSM,’ and ‘trans-friendly’ sex toys for children.”
At issue is an unholy alliance between sexual devolutionary activists at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and schools throughout Cook County. According to documents Rufo has reviewed and an examination of school websites, he can conclude that Lurie has provided educators in at least four districts — District 75, District 120, District 181, and District 204 — with materials promoting “gender” theory, MUSS (Made-up Sexual Status, aka “trans”) activism, and explicit sexual perversion. The aforementioned whistleblower, Rufo says, informed that these materials were distributed to school staff as part of employee “training.”

New York Democrat Kathy Hochul, the plastic politician elevated to the governorship after her predecessor resigned in disgrace, has a message for political opponents: Leave the state and relocate to Florida.
You know, that warm, far-southern state that’s significantly more successful than New York.
(Florida has a $20 billion budget surplus while the Empire State has a $13 billion empire of debt. The Sunshine State also handled COVID far better.)
Hochul said in addition, at a Monday evening rally in Kingston, that she’s “fighting to bring government back to the people and out of the hands of dictators.” Now there’s a campaign slogan — for her gubernatorial opponent Lee Zeldin (R).
NY has been controlled by Democrats for decades.
(Perhaps Kamala Harris is Hochul’s political advisor.)

It was only two years ago that Joe Biden answered a left-wing activist’s question about whether some police funds should be redirected elsewhere with “Yes, absolutely.” Also in 2020, his then-running mate, Kamala Harris, responded to the hundreds of violent Antifa/BLM riots by saying that “they should not” stop. Biden, Harris, and other liberals also never condemned the “Defund the Police” movement or left-wing district attorneys who’ve been putting dangerous criminals back on the streets. But now, with the midterm elections approaching and Democrat fortunes questionable, Biden sings a very different tune.
In fact, in what some have called ultimate gaslighting, on Tuesday he portrayed his MAGA opponents as the ones who are anti-law enforcement.

It’s a sign of the times that people espousing traditional morality are now called rebels, or, maybe, reactionary. The Boy Scouts, for instance, went from mainstream to maligned to, after their moral collapse, part of the cultural effluent stream. Yet as risibility becomes de rigueur, traditionalism can become trendy. Hence the rise of a counter-cultural group that’s young, hip, intellectual — and traditionally Catholic — and alarming to the Left.

"The stench of fascism is in the air." So said left-wing then-governor of California Pat Brown, in 1964, while opining on Republican Barry Goldwater’s presidential candidacy. According to commentator Christopher Tremoglie, this was the first time Democrats used the “fascist” pejorative against the GOP. It would not be the last.
On a personal note, there’s an irony here for me. My father was a Republican by 1964 and a staunch Goldwater supporter.
He also fought in WWII, was captured in battle, and spent time as a prisoner of war under the Nazi regime. So he might have known a bit more about fascism than Pat Brown (or, at least, would’ve been more honest about it).

Imagine how different our nation would be if Republicans had long held a significant Senate majority. Left-wing, anti-constitutional justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wouldn’t occupy the Supreme Court. The misnamed Inflation Reduction Act, a destructive “Green New Deal” by another name, would not be law. ObamaCare wouldn’t exist; we wouldn’t be a vote or two away from federalized elections; and, in fact, our legislative landscape would be profoundly different overall. And such a GOP majority would be a reality, today, now — if we’d just retained the Founding Fathers’ formula for choosing senators.
Moreover, a recent analysis finds that this majority would be staggering: a 63-37 Republican advantage that would essentially make left-wing federal bills an endangered species.

When blundering doctors removed one of Hurshell Ralls’ most private parts in 1999, unnecessarily as the story goes, he could never be “made whole” but did get a monetary settlement. Yet youth genitally mutilated in the name of doing the impossible — switching sexes — get nothing but broken bodies, broken promises, broken spirits, and broken dreams. This will change, however, if Governor Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) has anything to say about it.

Years ago, when I worked with children, a parent told me that her daughter had just reached puberty.
The girl was seven.
Her brother was also “blossoming” — he was 10.
Far from being a family of outliers, these kids reflected a common phenomenon: Children today are entering puberty earlier than ever. Doctors aren’t sure why, either. (Yet I may have uncovered a major, though underappreciated, cause. I’ll get to that later.)
