“It’s better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt,” the saying goes. But, critics may note, Representative Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) might have registered a historical first: proving foolishness by keeping one’s mouth shut.

At issue is a Wednesday floor speech in which the far-left Lieu cited two articles about recent anti-sexual devolutionary GOP legislation that, as the mainstream media put it, affects “LGBTQ+” affairs.

During a political discussion last week, a man told me that he knew abortion was murder, but couldn’t understand how there shouldn’t be exceptions for rape and incest. It was a statement that could remind one of G.K. Chesterton’s observation, “Men do not differ much about what things they will call evils; they differ enormously about what evils they will call excusable.”

But now fewer politicians are calling murder in this context excusable (or, at least, politically necessary). In fact, ever since Alabama enacted a 2019 prenatal infanticide ban without rape and incest exceptions, such laws have proliferated.

On Tuesday, CNN published a video segment titled “Why gun owners say they love AR-15 style rifles.” Some may wonder, “How could you love such a thing?!” Perhaps to the surprise of many, CNN did provide a glimpse into the answer. But the outlet also interviewed one of its military analysts, a retired Army officer, who appeared a voice of reason but whose statements were without reason.

The segment opened with CNN reporter Randi Kaye visiting Eagle Gun Range in Farmers Branch, Texas, where she introduced us to AR-15 aficionado Anna Thomasson. Thomasson wasn’t taught to shoot as a girl, but adopted the hobby in 2015 after a bout with breast cancer sidelined her marathon-running endeavors. She so fell in love with the activity that she, along with her husband, became AR-15 instructors.

Expressing her affinity for the weapon, the petite Thomasson explained….

“We just wanted to be able to be ourselves,” the sexual devolutionaries would once say. But now “being yourself” apparently sometimes means grooming young children at a homosexual bar, where they’ll slip dollar bills to drag queens performing in front of a pink neon sign reading “IT’S NOT GONNA LICK ITSELF!”

This is precisely what happened, too, on Saturday, June 4 at a “Drag the Kids to Pride” show at “gay” bar Mr. Misster in north Dallas, Texas.

It’s a tale of two standards. One is represented by Hillary Clinton 2016 campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann walking out of a D.C. federal court, freed by a jury that included three Clinton campaign donors. Weathermen terrorist Bill Ayers’s post-acquittal line “Guilty as sin, free as a bird” could come to mind.

The other standard is represented by elderly former Donald Trump trade adviser Peter Navarro being arrested at an airport, shock-and-awe style, for resisting a congressional subpoena, a “crime” that media generally shrug off when Democrats do it.

It’s justice, Venezuela-style, and it “sends an unmistakable message….”

At one time, medical “professionals” performed lobotomies on youths in an effort to remedy psychological issues. Today they may cut up not their brains but their bodies in an effort to address a different psychological issue: “gender dysphoria.” They do this with the federal government’s endorsement, too. But now Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo is pushing back, warning that “transgender” interventions for children, from puberty blockers to cross-sex hormones to genital mutilation to pronoun changes, are harmful and not based on science.

Disney took it on the chin after getting political and opposing Florida’s parental-rights bill. Netflix recently told its employees that if they were offended by the company’s politically incorrect content, they could quit. But this hasn’t stopped Mattel from leaning heavily into the sexual devolutionary agenda and birthing a freaky first:

The toy maker has created the world’s first “transgender” Barbie doll.

How one identifies a MUSS (Made-up Sexual Status, aka “transgender”) doll was not reported. Does it have have “bottom surgery” scars, a therapist, and a cross-sex hormone prescription? What is known is that this Barbie is the latest in a line of sexually confused (they call them “gender-nonconforming”) dolls that Mattel rolled out in 2019.

He was coached and groomed by adults and promised a happier life, with the ever-elusive contentment lying just around the corner with the next body-altering procedure. After each step — puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones — he was essentially told “Don’t worry; you’ll feel better when you take the next step.” But the misery intensified.

“The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,” the saying goes. This could come to mind in light of longstanding research showing that the majority of mothers of boys with “gender identity disorder” (GID) are “mentally ill” themselves. It’s yet more evidence that “transgenderism” is not biologically induced, as is the now the fashionable claim, but is a psychological problem stemming from early childhood influences.

What’s more, this, along with other studies showing that “liberal” women are more likely than their conservative sisters to have mental illness, inspired one writer to ask Wednesday, “Does leftist ideology create tangible psychiatric issues?”
