Can quality withstand the assault of diversity? Cases in point: In Virginia and New York City, schools have nixed merit-based entrance exams driven by a racial motive: Increasing the number of black and Hispanic students and reducing the presence of whites and Asian-descent youths.
In fact, in Fairfax County, Virginia, a school board member even admitted that their racial machinations have “an anti asian [sic] feel.”

“SPREADING HATE: New study shows Trump presidency normalized hatred and bigotry in MAGA followers.” So reads an April 11 headline at the website Occupy Democrats. What the researchers themselves say is a bit different, however, though still seemingly damning. “We found that explicit racial and religious prejudice significantly increased among Trump’s supporters,” they write, “whereas individuals opposed to Trump exhibited decreases in prejudice.”
Yet those reading the actual study may conclude that this isn’t what the researchers, two psychologists, “found,” only what they claimed — and that they may be prejudiced themselves.

The videos are eerie. People locked in their apartments and reportedly unable to obtain food. Thousands of desperate voices screaming in unison through the windows of large building complexes. Mass Covid-19 quarantine camps. Government drones hovering about commanding you to “curb your soul’s desire for freedom.” A mass slaughter of people’s pets, with cats in mesh bags on the sidewalk waiting to be killed and dogs beaten to death on the street. No, this isn’t Putin-assailed Ukraine.
But it is the “largest prison camp in human history"….

Some might say it’s a lot of hot air. First “green” energy endeavors threatened the North Maine Woods and a pre-Columbian forest in Germany. Now comes news that wind-power turbines have been killing scores of bald eagles along with the more threatened golden eagle. The federal government has fined a company implicated in this, too. Yet critics may wonder: Shouldn’t the feds expect an avian body count when encouraging wind power, as it’s well known that those unsightly windmill blades kill birds?
The kicker: One of the government’s gripes is that the company, ESI Energy, is “taking eagles without obtaining or even seeking the necessary permit,” as if this makes a bird less dead or a species less endangered and should apply to unintentional killings.

If it’s true that you get more of what you pay for, we’re about to have more “transgender” and “non-binary” people.
At least in Palm Springs, California, anyway.
Because that city is now going to devote $200,000 to a universal basic income program — a.k.a. a “handout” — that will give 20 residents between $600 and $900 per month over a two year period. But only MUSS (Made-up Sexual Status; in this case, “transgender” and “non-binary”) individuals need apply.
It hasn’t been reported how the city fathers (or un-sexually-defined sentient bipeds) will determine who is “legitimately” “trans” or “non-binary”; there is no physiologically oriented medical test to determine such status, after all. The “diagnosis” is based solely on feelings.
Speaking of which, the Palm Springs City Council members’ feelings are crystal clear….

Could you imagine being arrested in your own country by a non-citizen, maybe even one who broke the law by sneaking into your nation? It’s already the case that a legal non-citizen can be a police officer in California. But if a new Golden State bill becomes law, even illegal aliens may be allowed to become cops.
Ironically, this would of course include nationals from Mexico, whose very constitution itself states that non-citizens may not become policemen.

Eric Adams is all for fighting the “man.”
That is, except when he’s the man.
Many may draw this conclusion now that the New York City mayor has fired a mother for speaking out against his irrational mask mandate for kids under five — a measure some critics have called child abuse.
In fact, one unnamed NYC parent accused Adams of “hypocrisy” precisely because the mayor was more than willing to speak truth (or untruth) to power when he was a city cop and didn’t have the power.

The wireless innovation known as “5G” has already gotten a bad rap in some quarters, with talk about how it could disrupt aviation or degrade health. Others just conceptualize it as the promise of faster internet. But it turns out that even the most ardent doomsayers haven’t generally identified the real threat 5G poses: giving government the capacity to monitor and control everything, everyone, everywhere, all the time.
The kicker: The government currently leading in 5G development is today’s “everything, everyone, everywhere, all the time” leviathan — China.

“This is institutionalized child abuse; they’re working on destroying an entire generation of children.” So said Walt Heyer, a former “transgender” person, on Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle on Thursday. Heyer, who spent eight years living what he’d now call a counterfeit female persona, was referring to the Biden administration’s recent advocacy of what is incorrectly termed youth “gender transition.”
Heyer had embarked upon this mutilative procedure when he was 17 at a psychiatrist’s urging, but later realized his mistake and embraced the reality of his maleness. He now runs the website SexChangeRegret.com.
“This is institutionalized child abuse; they’re working on destroying an entire generation of children,” Heyer told host Laura Ingraham, addressing the Biden administration’s MUSS (Made-up Sexual Status, aka “transgender”) agenda machinations. “None of these children need hormone blockers; they don’t need to transition. One of the things that nobody ever seems to talk about is this one word called ‘consequences.'”
