That Donald Trump, he’s something else. He couldn’t get too many Democrats to vote for him.
But he can, it appears, compel them to kill.
That’s according to a liberal reporter, do note, who apparently couldn’t think of any other way to explain why a Democrat politician (allegedly) stabbed a journalist to death in cold blood.
It never occurred to her that it could be because, as National Review suggested recently, Democrats may “have a murder problem.”

Along with that old gray mare, science, well, ain’t what she used to be. Perhaps the latest example is that Scientific American, our country’s oldest continuously published science magazine (founded 1845), recently made an interesting claim.
“Before the late 18th century,” the periodical tweeted a while back, “Western science recognized only one sex — the male.”
Perhaps Scientific American (SA) may want to explain how the book Western civilization held in highest esteem at that time tells us, in a divine message dating to antiquity, “Male and female He created them.”
Oh, SA is the magazine, do note, that states in its “About” section that it “is committed to sharing trustworthy knowledge.”

“They’re private companies; they can do whatever they want.” This sentiment has often been expressed by libertarians addressing complaints about Big Tech censorship. But here’s the question: Is GoogTwitFace really private now — in spirit? Or have the tech companies become de facto arms of the state?
I’ve warned in the past that the “Democrat establishment has been doing an end run around the First Amendment, using Big Tech as a proxy to stifle dissenting views.” Now this is being echoed by Newsweek opinion editor Josh Hammer, who tells us that by way of colluding with GoogTwitFace to censor regime opponents, the Biden administration has collapsed “the ‘public’-‘private’ distinction.”
Do note that this is a hallmark of actual fascism: Keeping business in private hands, but ensuring that government has a controlling hand in it.

On Sunday, Chile missed an opportunity.
To become Venezuela.
So say critics after a new constitution — described as “leftist” and “progressive” by even mainstream media — was resoundingly rejected by voters on September 4. While 2019 protests led to a 2020 referendum that saw 80 percent of Chilean voters support a new constitution’s drafting, the actual document created was not very popular, with 62 percent of citizens rejecting it and only 38 percent voting yea.
The constitution would possibly have been the world’s most radical. As The Washington Post reports:
“The proposal would have enshrined certain civil rights that have never before been included in a constitution, emphasizing many of the priorities of the leftist social movements led by younger Chileans: gender equality, environmental protections, Indigenous and LGBTQ rights, and legal access to abortion.”

A person may think that after media organs had to pay huge settlements to Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann for defamation, reporters might be more careful about smearing non-famous people as racists. Or you may suppose that after the Jussie Smollett hoax and the foot-noose and fancy free Bubba Wallace incident, the press might realize that hate-crime claims are just a bit more reliable than Elvis sightings.
But you’d be wrong.
Nothing has changed, and the latest example involves a recent Brigham Young University (BYU) volleyball game. It comes on the heels, too, of the media smearing 12-year-olds at the Little League World series.

When naming government bills, truth in advertising is not required — nor is its lack legally actionable. A good example is the $1.9 trillion COVID-relief package signed into law by Joe Biden last March. While sold to America using coronavirus woes as a pretext, much of the allocated money is funding woke schemes that promote left-wing agendas.

Joe Biden “gave the speech of a dictator, in the style of a dictator, in the visual of a dictator, using the words of a dictator.” So said former Trump aide Stephen Miller in response to Biden’s Thursday address, a speech that should live in infamy. In it Biden claimed that MAGA supporters were a threat to our Republic, though now he’s walking back his statements. But is this a bell that can be un-rung?
And, in truth, Biden did illustrate well the threat to our civilization — the one he and his leftist handlers pose.

The attack on sexual morality predicted almost 100 years ago has intensified to the point where it’s an overt attack on kids — on their minds and souls. The latest example comes courtesy of a whistleblower and insider documents, writes journalist Christopher Rufo, informing that the “largest children’s hospital in Chicago has created partnerships with local school districts to promote radical gender theory, ‘kink,’ ‘BDSM,’ and ‘trans-friendly’ sex toys for children.”
At issue is an unholy alliance between sexual devolutionary activists at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and schools throughout Cook County. According to documents Rufo has reviewed and an examination of school websites, he can conclude that Lurie has provided educators in at least four districts — District 75, District 120, District 181, and District 204 — with materials promoting “gender” theory, MUSS (Made-up Sexual Status, aka “trans”) activism, and explicit sexual perversion. The aforementioned whistleblower, Rufo says, informed that these materials were distributed to school staff as part of employee “training.”

New York Democrat Kathy Hochul, the plastic politician elevated to the governorship after her predecessor resigned in disgrace, has a message for political opponents: Leave the state and relocate to Florida.
You know, that warm, far-southern state that’s significantly more successful than New York.
(Florida has a $20 billion budget surplus while the Empire State has a $13 billion empire of debt. The Sunshine State also handled COVID far better.)
Hochul said in addition, at a Monday evening rally in Kingston, that she’s “fighting to bring government back to the people and out of the hands of dictators.” Now there’s a campaign slogan — for her gubernatorial opponent Lee Zeldin (R).
NY has been controlled by Democrats for decades.
(Perhaps Kamala Harris is Hochul’s political advisor.)
