• Trumpworld

    American EagleBy Selwyn Duke

That ex-White House aide and pugilist of the pen Pat Buchanan could rightly be called the “godfather of Trumpism,” as the Christian Science Monitor dubbed him in May 2016, gets at the thesis put forth by The New American’s just-released special edition “bookazine,” Trumpworld. To wit:

“The principal personality in Trumpworld is, of course, Donald Trump,” as TNA editor-in-chief Gary Benoit puts it in the bookazine’s introduction. “But Trumpworld and Trump, though now very intertwined, are not the same. Trumpworld existed long before Trump threw his hat into the political ring, though under different names, such as the Tea Party or (earlier) the Silent Majority.”

Although it’s surely true that “great minds discuss ideas” while “small minds discuss people,” as Eleanor Roosevelt observed, people don’t follow ideas — people follow people. And now that “Silent Majority” is silent no more. Its ignored millions spoke a bit through Buchanan, who made waves via 1992, ’96, and 2000 presidential runs. But the time wasn’t quite right for his populist message, as America wasn’t as nigh on the precipice; moreover, though charismatic and a compelling orator, Buchanan lacked the celebrity star power and billionaire bucks Trump commands. The time was right, however, after Barack Obama’s eight years, and thus did Trumpworld roar in 2016 when “The Donald” ran for the presidency.

Yet Trump was trumped by the establishment a mere four years later, in 2020. And does this augur the end of Trumpworld’s relevance? Hardly.

  • Where’s Gavin? Newsom Got a COVID Booster October 27 — Then DISAPPEARED

    Bad DoctorBy Selwyn Duke

He’s not Carmen Sandiego, but people are still asking: Where in the world is Gavin Newsom? This is with good reason, too:

The normally gregarious California governor hasn’t been seen in public for 12 days now — not since he very visibly received a COVID-19 booster shot on October 27. In fact, that Newsom even canceled a trip to an “important” overseas climate summit, an event he likely looked forward to, has led to speculation that he might have had a bad reaction to his inoculation.

  • Survey: Republicans Say Immigration Is Destroying National Identity; Democrats Love It

    American EagleBy Selwyn Duke

This “country just becomes more and more of a hodgepodge of folks,” said Barack Obama, enthusiastically, in 2015. And a new survey by the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) finds that most other Democrats share his balkanization love affair, with 64 percent desiring the transformation of America via (im)migration and “diversity.”

Meanwhile, 80 percent of Republicans — and a slim majority of the overall population, 52 percent — believe our country “is in danger of losing its culture and identity.”

  • Girl Scouts Competitor on “Trans” Agenda: God “Created Men and Women Differently”

    Sex Symbols-ConfusionBy Selwyn Duke

"Male and female He created them,” Genesis tells us. It’s news so old — nay, timeless — that we don’t even call it history. But with sexual devolutionaries calling it myth and saying “sex” is “gender” and “gender” is fluid, it’s necessary to point out that this news is fact — and one organization has boldly done just that.

“As Christians, we must engage in this debate and end it once and for all, at least in our minds,” Patti Garibay, founder and executive director of American Heritage Girls [AHG], wrote in a press release distributed to media. AHG is a Girl Scouts alternative formed after the latter began embracing corruptive, hard-left, anti-American policies.

“Despite what society is saying … Scripture is clear: There is a difference between male and female, and it is worth celebrating,” Garibay continued.

It’s worth adding that biology is likewise clear: “Male” and “female” constitute a basic division in nature, with their profound non-reproductive differences known as “sexual dimorphism.” This Bible-biology congruence is not surprising: As Pope John Paul II once pointed out, there is no disagreement between good faith and good science.

  • Hit the Courts and Fight Hard! Without Vote Fraud, Ciattarelli Wins New Jersey HANDS DOWN

    Shell GameBy Selwyn Duke

It won’t be news to many that New Jersey is as crooked as a dog’s hind leg. This extends, of course, to its electoral system. Thus can it be said assuredly that without vote fraud, the remarkably corrupt and fairly stupid Garden State governor, Goldman Sachs guy Phil Murphy, would have lost Tuesday’s election hands down.

Murphy’s challenger, Republican Jack Ciatarelli, has a slim advantage after late-counted votes have trimmed his margin. As of this writing, he leads the incumbent 49.65 percent to 49.60 percent with 97.51 percent of the precincts reporting. It’s a good bet at this point that more than enough votes will be found to put Murphy over the top. After all, anyone who thinks spontaneous generation is a myth hasn’t seen Democrat ballots magically appear in a car trunk or in a truck overnight.

  • Did Anti-white Race Hustler Kendi Just Admit Whites are Disadvantaged?

    Prejudice SignBy Selwyn Duke

“Never believe what you publish — and never publish what you believe,” said the sleazy journalist in the film Night Flier. This attitude could come to mind when pondering the new breed of “anti-racist” writers, such as Robin DiAngelo, who make millions peddling the narrative that American is a white-supremacist nation, whites are inherently “racist,” and preferential treatment for non-whites is “equity.” After all, do these rabble-rousing propagandists really believe all the nonsense they disgorge?

One of them, Ibram X. Kendi (born Ibram Henry Rogers), certainly may not. Kendi, an establishment favorite whose breakout bestseller How To Be An Antiracist is now read everywhere from boardrooms to schoolrooms and by everyone from matriculating students to military personnel, was named one of the world’s most influential people by Time magazine. Yet recent tweets he sent, at least one of which he promptly deleted, indicate he may not believe his own rhetoric — and that he’s certainly not the “woke” man he pretends to be.

  • Death of Marriage: We’re Hurtling Down the Slippery Slope the Left Swore Didn’t Exist

    Failure FigureBy Selwyn Duke

“Till death do us part” is being heard less and less now because America is parting with marriage. This is fine with too many today, even though some form of marriage has been the norm in every civilization we know of. Thus may those not irredeemably libertine want to consider how it has been said — with respect to the universality of sex differences, for example — that when a phenomenon is witnessed worldwide in every time and place, it’s a strong indication it has a biological component. Oh, this isn’t to say marriage is in our DNA, yet a social and psychological need it satisfies may be.

Speaking of social phenomena, among adults, married people will shortly be a minority in the United States. This is not, as some may say, just because of faux (“same-sex”) marriage. But that phenomenon is a major exacerbating factor and, quite significantly, is a deadly symptom of the underlying problem.

  • BUSTED! Phil Murphy’s Advisors on Hidden Video: N.J. Governor WILL Impose Vax Mandate AFTER Reelection

Boot on Declaration of IndependenceBy Selwyn Duke

There are certain things a politician just might not reveal before an election, and New Jersey governor Phil Murphy is no exception. We know this because, with the Democrat’s chance at reelection coming up next Tuesday, his advisors were just caught on hidden video admitting that he will force state residents to be vaccinated after he’s reelected. But he can’t be honest about it yet because, one underling said, “right now it is about him winning.”
