“Girls will be boys and boys will be girls; it’s a mixed up muddled up shook up world….” The kinks were perhaps ahead of their time when singing this line in 1970, though even well before then the Soviets had claimed that rye can transform into wheat (Lysenkoism). Today, leftists’ denial of objective reality and nature does have them asserting that children can become the opposite sex. We’ve also seen a teen girl who claimed she was a canine and a young woman who insisted she was a cat. She was born “in the wrong species,” she lamented, saying, “My psychologist told me I can grow out of it, but I doubt it.” (The head-shrinkers have a name for such a condition, too: “species dysphoria.”)

Speaking of cats, there was the 2013 story about people in Australia who nearly killed their kitten by feeding it a strict vegan diet. In fact, this desire to turn one’s carnivorous pet “into a pretentious leaf masticator is popular,” as HuffPo put it, and the latest example is a young woman who recorded her attempt to “prove” that her dog was vegetarian by choice. It, uh, didn’t exactly go as planned, as the fang-bearing canine had other ideas.

Perhaps it would be different were there a powerful Students Union that donated big bucks to politicians. But 12-year-olds generally don’t have deep pockets. This is why, in California, they’re now going to have to have something else, something not required of their teachers: COVID vaccinations as a requirement for entering school.

It’s an example of how laws are just for the littlest of the little people, too.

In fact, the mandate will apply to all students in 7th through 12th grades — but not the higher-COVID-risk-category adults instructing them. Never mind studies showing that the genetic-therapy-agents (GTAs, a.k.a. “vaccines”) are notably more dangerous to adolescents than is the coronavirus itself. (But science is now also perhaps just for the little people, while being selectively ignored by the bigwigs).

What’s more, California’s government also intends to mandate the GTAs for kindergarteners through sixth graders in the foreseeable future.

What do you call a government in which incompetence and iniquity are rewarded and honor and duty are punished? Some call it the government we now have, and the latest example is an ex-Marine officer sitting in prison for criticizing the Keystone Kop military leaders responsible for the Afghanistan debacle. So intent are the powers-that-be on destroying this man, in fact, that his mother was prompted to lament, “They’re trying to bury our son.”

A 1985 Marines ad stated “We’re Looking for a Few Good Men,” and they certainly found one in Lieutenant Colonel Stuart Scheller, Jr. After having served in the Marine infantry for 17 years and becoming a battalion commander, Scheller made a Facebook video that would go viral and which opened with the caption, “To the American leadership. Very Respectfully, US.” Made just after news emerged about the explosion in Kabul that killed 13 servicemen, Scheller said, “One of those people who was killed was someone I had a personal relationship with.”

This is rich — and meaty, too.

Chef Daniel Humm very proudly and visibly announced in May that his high-end Manhattan restaurant, Eleven Madison Park, would emerge from its COVID closure with an entirely plant-based menu. “The way we have sourced our food, the way we’re consuming our food, the way we eat meat — it is not sustainable,” he told NPR at the time.

What he didn’t tell the outlet is that he’d still have what has been called a “secret” meat room for the pseudo-elites.

Humm certainly claimed to be going whole veggie hog. While you’d still be able to get milk and honey for your coffee, his restaurant was not just eliminating meat, but fish, too. Its price tag of more than three Franklins was staying the same, though.

Yet if Clara Peller (of Wendy’s commercial fame) were resurrected to ask “Where’s the beef?!” Eleven Madison Park’s richest patrons would know.

Before the Sexual Devolution and immigrationist agenda, every knee must bend. That seems to be the message of the European Union’s pseudo-elites, who are upset about a pro-sexual-virtue law in Hungary and the country’s refusal to be balkanized. Yet the Hungarians are firm in their resolve.

This was made clear in a recent interview granted to the Associated Press by the nation’s foreign minister, Peter Szijjarto. In fact, there are even murmurings that Hungary, along with political bedfellow Poland, may leave the EU, with a Polish statesman saying this month that EU overlords had to be fought as were “past Nazi and Soviet occupiers.”

Hungary’s sexuality oriented law is known as the “Anti-Pedophilia Act.” It prohibits the “promotion of homosexuality” or the so-called transgender phenomenon (the Made-up Sexual Status, or MUSS, agenda) to people less than 18 years old; this means that advertisements showcasing homosexuality or a MUSS may not be shown if they’re considered to be aimed at minors.

The law also mandates that school sex-education may only be taught by government-approved instructors.

This has inspired EU ire, with the Tolerance Crew wholly unwilling to tolerate deviation from their deviance.

It’s an all-too-common story. A teen I know currently has COVID-19 and is fairly sick. After an emergency-room examination yesterday, he was released from the hospital and he and his mother were simply told, “There’s no treatment protocol for COVID.”

Actually, there are effective treatments for COVID.

But they’re not officially sanctioned treatments — hence are doctors, hamstrung by labyrinthine regulations, refusing to administer them for fear of career destruction. In other words, bureaucracy is killing people on a massive scale.

The details of this story were recently revealed by a retired physician who provides a depressing, and seldom-heard, peek behind the curtain.

Here’s a question: Given that you could be arrested and charged for showing minors certain images readily available in some school libraries, what should happen to the people responsible for their availability in those school libraries? One writer knows where she stands.

“It’s time to start arresting school board members for child pornography,” she unabashedly proclaims.

Raising this issue is a shocking story out of Fairfax, Virginia.

ESPN just had in July the lowest ratings ever in its 41-year history, but this hasn’t stopped the network from dealing with its woke-joke status by doubling down. Its latest fumble is to apply affirmative action to the gridiron and broadcast football games based on skin color.

This pigskin prejudice takes the form of a new partnership between ESPN and members of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) and Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC); these entities comprise historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), and these schools will now get national coverage in more than 100 games this season. It’s a move that the Federalist states “is dividing the sport of football.”

Yet there’s an irony to forcing popular, nationally ranked teams to share the stage with affirmative-action (AA) choices.

Perhaps a clue is that the politicians who insist on instituting mask mandates are shown, repeatedly, to not be too fond of actually wearing masks themselves. But whether they know better or just believe they are better, here’s reality: At best, mask mandates do nothing to reduce society-level coronavirus spread.

At worst, they lead to greater COVID-19 transmission and death.

The latest case in point is Oregon, where a month ago Democrat governor Kate Brown instituted a totalitarian mask mandate.

Call “it Oceania in 1984 or the Soviet Union in 1965. It doesn't matter.”

“The one thing it isn't anymore is America 1776.”

So laments one writer talking about the story of a political prisoner. It’s a story most Americans haven’t heard and some Americans wouldn’t believe. But it’s all too true — and what it portends for our nation is terrifying.

If the United States now may have political prisoners as did the Soviets, it’s then not surprising that it also has a Soviet-like media. Hence the mischaracterization of the January 6 trespassing incident, which we’ve known from the beginning was just that. No “Stop the Steal” protesters were charged with “insurrection” or “sedition,” precisely because authorities realize that such charges are fanciful. No firearms were seized from those entering the Capitol building (one pistol was found on an arrestee on Capitol grounds), nor any other weapons to the best of my knowledge. And the only person violently killed was an unarmed, 5’2” woman named Ashli Babbitt, shot by a cop with a history of incompetence.

What’s more, recently released video — which the DOJ attempted to keep from the public — shows the protesters milling around inside the Capitol building looking not like terrorists but tourists, literally. Why, you might even say it was an “impressive show of democracy in action.”

That is, if you were like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).
