• Larry Elder Assaulted by “Racist” Leftist in Ape Mask; Media Says “Ho-hum”

    Prejudice SignBy Selwyn Duke

According to some left-wing pseudo-elites, math is racist. Enforcing grammar rules is racist. Offering a foreigner a peanut butter and jelly sandwich is racist. But donning an ape mask and attacking the man trying to become California’s first black governor?

That’s just a “hostile confrontation” — according to the Los Angeles Times, anyway.

  • DNC Pushes “Whites are Paid More” Propaganda Even Though Whites Make Less Than Asians

    Prejudice SignBy Selwyn Duke

“Today marks another day that Native American women are paid just $0.60 for every dollar earned by a White, non-Hispanic man,” writes the Democratic National Committee in a statement today. Interestingly, the DNC could have made the disparity even more striking by comparing American Indian women to what actually is the highest-earning race/sex-defined group: Asian men. They make 117 percent as much as white men. Any thoughts as to why they didn’t do this?

The DNC issued its statement because Sept. 8 is “Native American Women’s Equal Pay Day,” which is probably about as well known as National Mother Goose Day (May 1).

But the DNC was sure to remember (it might have created it, in fact, circuitously) and expressed in its statement that today “marks another day that Native American women are paid just $0.60 for every dollar earned by a White, non-Hispanic man. While $0.40 today doesn’t buy a bus ticket, over a 40-year career it amounts to nearly $1 million in lost wages — but it also amounts to the devaluation of Native American women’s contributions to our country that no American should find acceptable.”

  • Media Angry That Many “Conservatives” Are No Longer Conservative

    Angry ManBy Selwyn Duke

When will the left-wing media be angry that conservatives are abandoning being conservative?

When that means ceasing to be defensive and no longer conserving our liberalism-born status quo.

This is precisely the case with an article by ProPublica (PP) — an outfit partially funded by George Soros’s Open Society Foundations — which writes that the “stolen election myth inspired thousands of Trump supporters to take over the Republican Party at the local level, exerting more partisan influence on how elections are run.”

(How PP defines “myth” was not explained.)

  • As the West Confuses Boys With Girls, China is Banning “Sissy Men” from TV

    Sex Symbols-ConfusionBy Selwyn Duke

While Hillary Clinton and her supporters would insist that “the future is female,” this apparently isn’t going to be the case in China (or in Afghanistan). In fact, after unveiling a program earlier this year designed to enhance teen boys’ masculinity, Beijing has announced that broadcasters must “resolutely put an end to [showcasing] sissy men and other abnormal esthetics” on television.

  • Canadian Professor Makes War on Capital Letters; Calls Them “Symbols of Hierarchy”

    Failure FigureBy Selwyn Duke

She doesn’t have a good case. But she does have a problem with an upper one — upper-case letters, to be precise. In fact, professor Linda ManyGuns, a “Indigenous” Canadian activist, is leading a literary jihad to eliminate the taller form of the alphabet.

Except, that is, when writing “Indigenous.”

It’s just the latest in the war against Western civilization and traditional curricula. This effort has included innovations such as “inventive spelling” and the notion that math and enforcing grammar standards are “racist.”

ManyGuns, the associate vice-president of indigenization and decolonization at Mount Royal University (MRU) in Calgary, Canada, made her anti-capitalization announcement on the university’s website, writing….

  • COVID Tyranny: Australia Adopts Facial-recognition Tracking as it Slouches Toward Beijing

Big Man Stepping on Small ManBy Selwyn Duke

One of the ironies of the China virus response is that it’s making Western nations far more like their main geopolitical rival, China. A case in point is that a system designed to track quarantined Australians — and requiring them to send the government a picture of their face and verify their location within 15 minutes of being randomly contacted — may be used nationally.

What’s more, one Australian politician proclaimed that his constituents should be “proud” that their region is the app’s testing ground. All this over a disease with an infection fatality rate not much different from the flu’s.

  • On Free Speech, Elites May be “Looking to Move in for the Kill,” Writer Warns

    Silenced ManBy Selwyn Duke

Among a multitude of evils, here’s something else your tax money is helping fund: an effort to squelch your free-speech rights.

At issue is a National Public Radio On the Media episode about the “dangers” of free speech. The program’s guests included, writes liberal commentator Matt Taibbi at Substack, “Andrew Marantz, author of an article called, ‘Free Speech is Killing Us’; P.E. Moskowitz, author of ‘The Case Against Free Speech’; Susan Benesch, director of the ‘Dangerous Speech Project’; and Berkeley professor John Powell, whose contribution was to rip John Stuart Mill’s defense of free speech in On Liberty as ‘wrong.’”

  • Stanford Epidemiologist Studies COVID, Finds It’s Highly Treatable and RARELY a Deadly Disease

    Lab BeakersBy Selwyn Duke

Early last year, Stanford professor John Ioannidis stated that if we didn’t know a new virus called COVID existed, we might just “have casually noted that flu this season seems to be a bit worse than average.” Now Ioannidis has done research that perhaps vindicates that statement, finding that the coronavirus’ infection fatality rate (IFR) in most of the world is less than 0.20 percent — much like that of the flu.

What’s more, the professor concludes that protecting the vulnerable and early treatment could likely reduce that IFR further.

  • AOC Destroys Own Agenda With “Dumbest Tweet Ever”; Makes Internet Start ROFLOL

Back to School DuncecapBy Selwyn Duke

Identifying the superlative in an arena can be difficult. But one editor-in-chief believes he has done something akin to locating the most troublesome mosquito in the Okefenokee Swamp: identifying Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s “dumbest tweet ever.”

  • CNN Caught Lying (Again); Gets Legal Notice From Angry DEMOCRAT Politician

    Pinnochio2By Selwyn Duke

CNN just can’t stop proving that it’s the George Costanza of journalism. The network, which had to pay a huge defamation settlement to former Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann and has a history of deceitful reporting, is at it again — and this time a Democrat has served the station a legal notice.

At issue was a report on the California recall election. It’s no secret that along with the rest of pseudo-elite media, CNN aims to scuttle the effort to remove incompetent and imperious Governor Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.) from office. In fact, the press has even gone so far as to characterize Republican commentator Larry Elder, the favorite to replace Newsom, as the “Black Face of White Supremacy.”

As for CNN, it found the Truth an impediment to its narrative that the recall election was a solely Republican effort, so it stated Monday that “no Democrats are competing against their own party’s governor.”

The network was only off by nine.
