• Food Fight: Can You Guess What the Left is Now Calling Racist?

    Chained RefrigeratorBy Selwyn Duke

It’s easy mocking cultural revolutionary insanity and laughing it off as day room, psychiatric institution behavior. But with the inmates now running the asylum and ensuring that our heroes, history, and institutions are defamed or renamed, it’s really no laughing matter. After all, we’ve already heard that teaching math reflects “white supremacy” and, while the claim in question here isn’t that destructive, it does flow from the same dark and distorted spirit.

And the claim is that “curry,” the term, should largely be cancelled and that it’s rooted in “white, Christian supremacy.” Seriously.

  • Tucker on Irish Study: Masking Kids is Not Good Medicine — “it’s Child Abuse”

    Failure FigureBy Selwyn Duke

“The typical mask you buy in the drug store is not really effective in keeping out virus, which is small enough to pass through the material.” So said Dr. Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), in a February 5 e-mail. It’s just one of the many indications that widespread masking is more COVID Ritual than science. What’s more, an Irish study cited on Fox News last night had found that it isn’t just that masking schoolchildren is useless — it’s actually dangerous to their health.

It’s not as if this is the first masking red flag we’ve gotten. Past studies have found that masks become as pathogen-laden Petri dishes on people’s faces, that they can restrict oxygen intake and induce dangerously high carbon dioxide levels in children’s bloodstreams, and that wearers may be inhaling unhealthful plastic microparticles from them. Despite this and ostensibly motivated by the COVID-19 Delta variant’s prevalence, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is recommending that our country’s 56 million children and teens wear masks regardless of vaccination status, their communities’ infection levels, and even though children aren’t generally threatened by, and don’t seem to readily transmit, the virus.

Of course, the CDC has flip-flopped on masks more than once, following the lead of Fauci, who changes COVID positions like clothes. Yet even if you believe CDC 5.0 and Fauci 9.0 (unless I missed a few iterations) and reckon that masking reduces contagion, a simple rule must be remembered.

  • Black Mother Aghast to Discover Black School Principal’s Segregation Policy

Chess Pieces — White-BlackBy Selwyn Duke

That’s “not one of the black classes,” the mother quoted her daughter’s school principal as saying after she requested a specific teacher for her girl. That mother, Kila Posey, then described her reaction: “First, it was just disbelief that I was having this conversation in 2020 with a person that looks just like me — a black woman. It’s segregating classrooms.”

“You cannot segregate classrooms,” she continued. “You can’t do it.”

Apparently you can, though, and the principal in question — Sharyn Briscoe of Mary Lin Elementary School in Atlanta — isn’t even the first to do it in recent times.

  • The Problem Isn’t That Biden is Defying the SCOTUS — It’s That He’s Defying the Constitution

Boot on Declaration of IndependenceBy Selwyn Duke

When courts blocked President Trump’s travel bans, his reinstitution of the military’s “transgender” ban, and his effort to end DACA, I pointed out that he could actually just ignore the judges’ overreach because “judicial supremacy” has no basis in law. I also mentioned, long ago, that ignoring court rulings is precisely what the Left would do, anyway, once it had enough power. It wasn’t going to let some black-robed lawyer, with no ability to enforce his will, thwart its agenda.

And sure enough, it has come to pass.

  • My Troubling COVID Vaccine Story Experiences

    Bad DoctorBy Selwyn Duke

Along with many other commentators, I’ve reported on side effects associated with the coronavirus vaccines. Of particular concern are heart problems and, specifically, myocarditis, which is inflammation of the heart muscle.

Now, you’ll hear different stories about how common these issues are. Government officials and the medical establishment will claim they’re rare, while others say differently (and that the feds’ Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, or VAERS, is undercounting vaccine-coincident deaths). But when your anecdotal experience starts to align, suspiciously, with the warnings of danger, it’s eyebrow-raising.

  • Churches Burn in Canada Based on Blood-libel Myth

    Burning ChurchBy Selwyn Duke

“There are not over a hundred people in the United States who hate the Catholic Church,” the late, great Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen stated in 1938. “There are millions, however, who hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church.” In thus noting, perhaps Sheen was thinking of how the Crusades are cast as imperialistic campaigns when they were more like defensive actions designed to ward off Muslim aggression; or maybe how WWII-era pontiff Pius XII was portrayed as “Hitler’s Pope,” though we now know this is an illusion effected via Soviet agitprop. Or maybe the prelate was pondering 100 other things, from the historical to the theological.

But now there’s one more, too: The mainstream-media-enabled allegation that “residential” schools in Canada — run by the Catholic Church in most cases and Protestants in some — seized American Indian children from their families, brutalized them, and then essentially authored their deaths before burying them in unmarked mass graves.

  • Democrats Turning to Vote Fraud to Keep Newsom in Power

    Shell GameBy Selwyn Duke

Leaders who don’t have to worry about elections can abuse power to their hearts’ content. This explains not just the behavior of autocratic regimes in non-democratic countries such as China and North Korea, of course, but also what transpires in Venezuela, where the ruling party can rig the vote. The latter sad reality is also becoming a factor in the United States, and California’s upcoming recall election may be another indicator of just how far down the banana-republic rabbit hole we are.

  • “You Are Not a Chick!”: Spunky Vietnam Vet Locks Horns With Aggressive “Trans” Activist

    Sex Symbols-ConfusionBy Selwyn Duke

Our cultural revolutionaries, who win battle after battle by default, aren’t used to getting pushback. But they got some in a major way last Wednesday, courtesy of a feisty Vietnam veteran named Don Sucher.

It was then that the 78-year-old was confronted by a MUSS (Made-up Sexual Status or “transgender”) town councilman originally named Nathan Kennedy, but now going by “Tiesa Meskis,” at his Star Wars memorabilia store in Aberdeen, Washington.

  • “Woke” Workers Shut Down Butcher Chain After CEO Removes Their BLM Signs

    Politically CorrectBy Selwyn Duke

What a switch. We’ve heard of employees being canceled by employers for not being “woke.” But in what may be a first, “rock star” Northeast butcher Fleishers has been forced to close all four of its locations after three dozen workers walked out — because the CEO removed their Black Lives Matter and sexual devolutionary (“LGBT”) signs from store windows.

Apparently, these employees believe that store owners should sacrifice business and money for their principles.

  • Subway Franchisees: Dump the Megan Rapinoe Ads — She’s No Hero

    Failure FigureBy Selwyn Duke

Is being anti-American now a selling point … in America? Subway’s corporate office apparently thinks so, as it has run advertisements featuring purple-haired, Anthem-kneeler soccer player Megan Rapinoe. But many of its franchisees state otherwise, saying they want the ads pulled because they’re getting serious customer blowback and threats of boycotts.
