“When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around,” the apocryphal line goes. “But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much he had learned in seven years.” In another daddy’s case, President Trump’s, it took only mere months to “become learned.” The latest example, at least according to British paper the Daily Mail, is that he was right about California’s notorious wildfires being due to poor forest management. The evidence?
The Golden State is adopting Trump’s plan for preventing future raging arboreal infernos.

Some experts are warning that minors under 18 shouldn’t be given COVID vaccinations. The “risks are not worth the gains from preventing a disease that very rarely causes serious problems in the young,” as The Times put it on June 16, citing Britain’s Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation. Sadly, this information came too late for Jacob Clynick, a 13-year-old boy with no known health problems who passed away recently after receiving a China virus vaccination.

North Korean defector Yeonmi Park recently said that America has, unbelievably, become even crazier than her native country. A reality evidencing this is that factual articles about real stories too often now sound like satire. Thus is the case with the subject here: a New York University “bioethicist” who has a solution to climate change, which he and his collaborators call “arguably one of the biggest problems that confront us today.”
To wit: engineer humans who are smaller, smarter, and beef-averse.

We heard in 2019 about the Indian man who intended to sue his parents for giving birth to him without his consent. And while such legal action isn’t common, more so is the philosophy the bloke embraces: antinatalism, the belief that it’s wrong bringing children into existence. In fact, some of its adherents recently protested what they see as unacceptable fecundity — in an already barren world.

Talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire. If you want to know what you get when you cross NYC mayor Bill de Blasio with Bolshevik-like billionaire George Soros, meet Maya Wiley, candidate to run the Big Apple. You mightn’t have heard of her. But you may now hear much as she has vaulted into second place in the city’s race to replace de Blasio, who, mercifully, is being term-limited out of office.
It’s not hard to understand Wiley’s appeal in this identity politics age. Is she female? Check. Non-white? Check. In a biracial marriage as is de Blasio? Check. She’s also, says commentator Thomas Lifson, another “progressive” who’s a “rich hypocrite.” So she’s collected many checks.
How far left is Wiley?

Years ago, because my best friend had some Polish connections, I’d sometimes attend a “Polish” Catholic church in Brooklyn, New York City. Attendance was great enough so that some parishioners had to participate in Mass on the sidewalk, and they, at the appointed times, would kneel down on the pavement as those inside the church knelt in their pews. But something else that occurred would’ve also been striking to too many American Catholics:
After the consecration, fully half the parish did not go up to receive Communion.
The reason why was that, unlike people such as Joe Biden and Ted Lieu, those parishioners take their faith seriously.
It was only a matter of time. Reacting to the unscientific and harmful “transgender” agenda, a wave of states have passed laws banning boys claiming girlhood from competing in girls’ sports, while Arkansas has forbade medical professionals from offering puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, or sexual-organ-mutilation surgery to minors. But now Joe Biden’s Department of Justice, upset at this challenge to the leftist agenda, is calling on the courts to overturn these state laws.

If you think that mask you’re putting on your child is protecting his health, think again. Because an analysis of some kids’ masks in Florida has shown that they contained a host of dangerous pathogens despite having been new or freshly laundered and then worn for mere hours.
Oh, there was one pathogen the masks didn’t harbor: COVID.

He was a lifeguard, but that didn’t save him from a society drowning in wokeness. In fact, 18-year-old Alex Katsnelson’s poolside job with his Vermont town’s parks and recreation department was just deep-sixed because he dared question pseudo-elite orthodoxy: He voiced opposition to Critical Race Theory (CRT).
It’s a prime example of how no one is safe from cancel culture. After all, if even a teen lifeguard can’t dissent and keep his position, who can?
