It wasn’t a “white supremacist” who killed 14 people in the 2009 Fort Hood shooting, but Muslim extremist Major Nidal Malik Hasan. It’s also not white supremacists that we’ve expended great blood and treasure fighting in costly wars since 9/11, but Islamic jihadists. But this hasn’t stopped the Biden administration from recruiting terrorist-enabling Muslim extremists to help root out “extremism” in the U.S. military.

It’s an unbelievable move, so much so that it could make some wonder: Is the goal really to eliminate radicalism?

Or is it to cultivate a certain kind of convenient radicalism?

With pseudo-elite cultural winds at its back and its opponents censored, Big Gender had enjoyed years without any high profile questioning of its agenda. But this changed Sunday evening when TV’s oldest newsmagazine, 60 Minutes, focused on stories illustrating the medical malpractice euphemistically known as “gender transitioning.”

The program featured four young adults who, with very little medical evaluation, were allowed to “transition,” a process that included removal of their sex organs. They later regretted their decisions and became what are incorrectly known as “de-transitioners” (you can’t “de-transition” because you can’t “transition” to being the opposite sex in the first place). Tragically, though, the mutilation they endured is, largely, irreparable.

It wasn’t always like this. Just about a decade ago, the disorder “gender dysphoria” — in laymen’s terms, the sense that you’re stuck in the wrong sex’s body — was little known beyond psychological circles.

A hallmark of an ideologically shackled civilization is that everything is negatively politicized — even sports. Examples of this abound in our nation today, with kneeling professional football players and “Black Lives Matter” painted on NBA courts. So it’s no surprise that the magazine Sports Illustrated, which has long leaned left, has transitioned into peddling not just frivolity but also utter insanity.

It might have shocked many to hear a 2019 study’s finding that more than a third of Millennials approve of communism. But it shouldn’t. After all, a new survey informs that 43 percent of them have no problem with one of communism’s tenets: the creation of a world without God, churches, and the Bible.

Related to this, Millennials also believe that government “should continue to expand in reach, authority, power, and spending, in order to facilitate a more desirable way of living,” as the survey page puts it.

“The worst form of impoliteness is insincerity in discourse.” It’s unknown if writer Gabe Kaminsky would agree with this line, which I coined many years ago, but a piece he recently penned at the Federalist certainly reflects its spirit.

Titled “Conservatives Who Call Caitlyn Jenner ‘She’ Forfeit the Truth,” the article’s subhead states, “If you know a man is a man and a woman is a woman, then referring to Jenner in the feminine sense violates your moral compass and prescription to the truth.”

Jenner, of course, is the famed ex-Olympian whose given name is “Bruce” and who now claims to be a woman. A longtime Republican, he’s also now running for the California governorship, which has made conservatives even more sympathetic to his cause (even if a big part of it isn’t, ostensibly, theirs).

Leftists are “trying to destroy the American military” and “turn it … into a bunch of pansies.” So warned Senate Foreign Affairs Committee member Ted Cruz (R-Texas) on Friday, responding to a new, outrageously politically correct U.S. Army recruitment ad. Featuring an animated portrayal of a true story of a “little girl, raised by two moms,” the ad signals how the military has thoroughly transitioned from sexual rectitude to “Don’t ask, don’t tell” to, finally, “Will tell — you better approve.”

“The Hips On the Drag Queen Go Swish Swish Swish.” No, that’s not a bad joke, but the title of a new book intended for, and read to, young children — on a kids’ TV show.

The reading was the result of a partnership between PBS station WNET and the New York City Department of Education, taxpayer-supported entities both.

It’s right up there, or down there, with how a British politician got charged with “hate speech” for reading an excerpt from a Winston Churchill book:

A professor at St. John’s University in New York City was recently fired — after a complaint from just one student — for reading a Mark Twain book that lampoons racism.

What was the problem?

The work, Pudd’nhead Wilson, includes the N-word, as part of an authentic relation of the language and dialects of the time and place in which the story is set.

Meanwhile, many secondary schools now expose students to intellectually degraded books containing lewd sexuality and vulgarity. Moreover, CNN retains a contributor who openly admires history’s most notorious racist: Adolf Hitler.
