• When “Woke” Politicians Take People’s Food Stores Away

    Chained RefrigeratorBy Selwyn Duke

Because Long Beach politicians are short on common sense, not to mention common decency, their constituents are now closer to living in a “food desert.” At issue is the closure of two of the California city’s major grocery stores as the result of policy reflecting the AOC School of Economics.

  • Everything Is Bigger in Texas — Even the Child-borne “Trans” Propaganda

    Sex Symbols-ConfusionBy Selwyn Duke

When terrorists, drug cartels, or rogue governments use children as human shields, it’s called a war crime.

When sexual devolutionaries use them as human shields, as they did recently in Texas, it’s called “testimony” and “activism.”

Oh, there were no bullets flying or bombs detonating on April 12, when 10-year-old “Kai” Shappley spoke in front of Texas lawmakers about a proposed bill that would prohibit so-called “gender” transition treatments for children. But the human-shield idea was the same:

Put a child on the front line — where fire would normally be directed — so as to ensure that an enemy more moral than you are won’t attack your vulnerable positions.

  • North Carolina Creates Task Force to Combat Left-wing Ideologies in Public Schools

    Angel vs. DemonBy Selwyn Duke

“The philosophy of the classroom today will be the philosophy of government tomorrow,” informs the apocryphal quotation. This saying gets at a serious issue and, finally, a politician is taking it seriously.

In fact, North Carolina Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson, a Republican, has created a task force to tackle the left-wing philosophies (aka propaganda) pervading today’s government schools.

  • The Landed Idiocracy: Interior Dept. Officials Issue “Land Acknowledgements” and Relate Their “Pronouns”

    Politically CorrectBy Selwyn Duke

Call it the Department of the Inferior. For this may be appropriate after Department of the Interior employees were seen beginning a Zoom meeting with “land acknowledgements” and the relation of “their” pronouns.

Appearing first in video of the meeting, which took place recently, is Laura Daniel-Davis, principal deputy assistant for land and mineral management. Obviously reading a prepared statement, she said, “[I] recognize that I live and work within the ancestral lands of the Anacostans in the Anacostia and Potomac River watershed. I acknowledge the place-based knowledge of these peoples, and I’m grateful for their ancestral and current stewardship of these lands.”

  • Does Leftism Make You Looney? New Study Finds Liberal White Women Struggle With Mental Health Issues

    Hippie-FemaleBy Selwyn Duke

After viewing their actions during the Brett Kavanaugh hearings in 2018, commentator Megan Fox called them “screeching gorgons.” Another female pundit called many of those taking the lead in last year’s left-wing protests “hysterically angry white women.” And some just call them “Karens.” Whatever terms are given to these ladies, if you’ve ever joked that liberal white women are crazy, it’s no joke.

In fact, a women’s publication called Evie reported Tuesday, citing a Pew Research Center study, that more than 50 percent of young, liberal, white women have been diagnosed with some form of “mental health” problem.

  • Tulsi Gabbard: Biden Is Moving Us Toward Nuclear War With Russia

    Nuclear BlastBy Selwyn Duke

The Biden administration’s policies could land us in a war with Russia, resulting in “suffering beyond comprehension, hundreds of millions of people dying” and “the end of the world as we know it.”

So said former Hawaii Democrat congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard on Monday, April 12, on Tucker Carlson Tonight, warning that a failure to deescalate tensions with Moscow over Ukraine could result in nuclear conflict.

What concerns Gabbard was reflected in actions the Biden administration took just today….

  • Why America Is Turning Left: Church/House of Worship Members Are Minority in U.S. for FIRST TIME EVER

    HandsClaspedinPrayerBy Selwyn Duke

Some Americans are so far “left” that they’ve left sanity, and this just could be because they first left faith. They are leaving it, too. In fact, a recent Gallup survey found that Americans who belong to a house of worship are a minority for the first time ever in history. It’s a phenomenon with serious political implications, as regular church attendance, or lack thereof, correlates with voting patterns.

  • “Kittenself”? Neopronouns Are Newest Thing Among the Totally Self-centered

    Sex Symbols-ConfusionBy Selwyn Duke

If you want to know what happens when you don’t learn after age two that the world doesn’t completely revolve around you, look no further than “neopronouns.” These are “personal” pronouns an individual chooses to express his “identity.” But don’t think this simply means an opposite-sex identity. That’s antiquated thinking — right out of 2019.

Rather, the New York Times provides a guide on the matter and asks, “Are you a person, place or thing?” before presenting neopronoun examples such as “bun/bunself,” “kitten/kittenself,” and “prin/cess/princesself.” Mine, at least right now, is besidemyself.

  • Sexual Anarchy: The GOP Fiddles While Kids’ Souls Burn

    Sex Symbols-ConfusionBy Selwyn Duke

Have you heard the story about the engine and the caboose? The caboose doesn’t want to go where the engine is taking it, but the latter has all the energy and provides the movement. So the caboose sometimes is lighter and pulled more swiftly and sometimes is heavier and provides more resistance, but reaching the destination is a foregone conclusion — all that will vary is the arrival time.

This is a metaphor for the conservative-liberal struggle, and bringing it to mind is a recent article at Mission: America titled “Children Endangered as GOP Applauds Sexual Anarchy.”

  • Masking Danger? Are We Inhaling Disease-causing Microplastic Particles From Face Masks?

    Bad DoctorBy Selwyn Duke

To mask or not to mask? Do we dare ask? Wearing a face mask in response to COVID-19 is often mandated by government and has become socially expected in many situations. California goes so far as to dictate that people “must wear face coverings when they are outside of the home” — period.

Contrary opinions about these mandates or the safety of widespread masking are ignored by government and mainstream media and censored by social media. Yet there may be a reason why California politicians Governor Gavin Newsom, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senator Diane Feinstein, and others have been caught in unmasked in public in violation of the regulations they themselves advocate:

Good research has shown that there’s no evidence face masks, when worn by the general population, offer protection from coronavirus.
