Conservatives used to view her as the big (or maybe little) bad Wolf. Now some are essentially calling her a good shepherd.
Naomi Wolf, liberal journalist and former political advisor to Al Gore and Bill Clinton, used to be a stone-faced feminist. But after a professed 2006 religious conversion, her personality, if not her politics, appeared to change. And now she has attracted attention again, this time with a more worldly eye-catching statement:
America is becoming a “totalitarian state before our eyes” under the Joe Biden administration.

What happens when you remove “al” from “equality”? You get “equity,” leftists’ latest obsession and social-engineering justification, one eliminating even the superficial claim that equality is a priority. Thus did we just hear about white high-school students being investigated for advocating equality — and thus do we now hear about the Madison, Wisconsin, Police Civilian Oversight Board (PCOB), whose policy essentially is “No whites need apply.”

At issue are some social-media posts by anonymous students from Strathcona High School in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. You can still win cash in a Black Lives Matter essay contest, total prize money $15,000, being run by an institution of “higher learning.”
That’s the story with the “Reflect & Empower: What Black Lives Matter Means to Me” writing and multimedia event being held by the Central Connecticut State University Center for Public Policy and Social Research.
(What BLM means to many is communism, but I suspect this sentiment won’t capture the cash even if written kahmyoonizm.)

One reason conservatives never saw a culture war they couldn’t lose is that they insist on using Queensberry rules, even as the Left fights no-holds-barred. Consider, for example, two scenarios.
When leftists discover someone “committing conservatism” — such as when former Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich was found to have donated $1,000 to California’s Proposition 8 — they accept nothing less than the person’s termination. In fact, they never want him to work again. Ergo “cancel culture.”
When leftists effect something truly outrageous, such as the anti-white “Deep Equity” school curriculum being implemented nationwide, the reaction is different. Conservatives may fight back against it as they did with Deep Equity in Chandler, Arizona, but they’re generally satisfied if the social engineering is abandoned. They don’t go for blood. In fact, so often have I heard prominent conservative figures say in such a situation, “Look, I don’t want anyone fired.”
Well, I do.

As in too many “conservative” towns, Star City, West Virginia, was poised to conserve a liberalism-born status quo. In its case, it was going to follow the lead of so many major municipalities and enact an oppressive sexual devolutionary (LGBT) ordinance. But thanks to the lobbying of a virtue-oriented activist group, this time the sexual social engineers lost.
As issue was something that sounded innocuous enough (to innocent ears): an “anti-discrimination” ordinance. It actually, however, would’ve discriminated against businesses that would operate in accordance with just norms and reason’s dictates.
