They’re not yet being thrown in gulags like dissenting biologists in the Lysenkoist USSR, but there is an ominous similarity:
As in the old Soviet Union, scientists rejecting the government narrative in our nation are now being erased from public view.
A case in point is Dr. Simone Gold, a Los Angeles physician and founder of the group America’s Frontline Doctors. Gold was recently fired from her job for, she says, appearing in a viral “White Coat Summit” (WCS) video in which she and other physicians touted hydroxychloroquine as a COVID-19 treatment.
In fact, we’re now apparently in the grip of COVID-1984.

So it is with the Wuhan coronavirus, with, for example, schools shut down even though we’ve long known there’s virtually no risk of children either dying from or spreading the disease. It’s not what politicians say they’re going to do that you most have to worry about, and this isn’t just because they’re notorious for breaking promises. It’s that it’s what they don’t say they’re going to do, but do anyway once in power, that’s far worse.
A good example is the Democrats’ plan to destroy the suburbs, which they see as bastions of white privilege/supremacy whose rise has occurred at cities’ expense.

It’s amazing what can happen when the silent majority actually speaks up and demonstrates where the “woke” mob’s power really lies: in the illusion that it has power.

Calling “In God We Trust” “divisive” and likening its government use to saying “In Satan We Trust,” the Satanic Temple has threatened a lawsuit if Mississippi puts our official national motto on its new flag.
The latter is the plan, too. For while the public is engaged in devising the Magnolia State’s new flag — approximately 600 proposals have been submitted thus far — a new state law sets two conditions for its design: It cannot include the Confederate emblem (whose presence inspired its alteration, of course).
And the flag must include our national motto, “In God We Trust.”

Far-left representative Maxine Waters, who in 2018 called on supporters to confront and harass Trump administration officials and hence intensify our cold (un)civil war, now says the president may want a hot one.
To be precise, Waters (D-Calif.), opining on MSNBC Wednesday while being interviewed by station host Joy Reid, peddled a conspiracy theory holding that President Trump was deploying federal officers to violent Democrat-run cities nationwide as a “trial run” for using “his military” against Americans should he fail to win re-election.
