At the recent State of the Union Address, Republicans cheered President Trump’s announcement that women “filled 58 percent of the newly created jobs last year” and that “Americans can be proud” of how females are now the workforce’s majority. But far from being something to cheer about, studies have shown that this phenomenon reflects a declining civilization.

After all, high female and relatively low male employment numbers are strongly associated with below-replacement-level fertility rates, and as commentator Mark Steyn so pithily put it, “The future belongs to those who show up for it.”

New Yorker Wilmer Maldonado Rodriguez had agreed to testify against MS-13 gang members, a brave move considering their reputation for viciousness. But he’ll never get the chance.

Rodriguez was found bludgeoned to death on Sunday, February 2, behind an abandoned home in New Cassel, Long Island, according to Nassau County police. Moreover, the police told reporters that another witness associated with the case was shot at in New Cassel January 30.

Critics had blamed Rodriguez’ murder on New York’s new “justice reform” laws; these, they claimed, force prosecutors to disclose witnesses’ names to defendants….

Since President Trump is a builder by trade, it may not be surprising that he has his eye on federal buildings — not buying them, but beautifying them. At issue is an executive order that would “make the classical style — which originated in ancient Greece and Rome — the default design for federal buildings,” the Los Angeles Times reports.

What would you say about legislation requiring the government to use tax money to transport convicted criminal illegal aliens who’d already been deported back to the United States, calling it the “right to come home”?

What if that bill also created a situation in which a known Mexican drug cartel leader could be released from prison, enter the United States “illegally,” and it would no longer be a crime? Such radical and self-destructive legislation has already been proposed.

It’s called the New Way Forward Act (H.R. 5383), and it goes way beyond Hillary Clinton’s 2013 call for a “hemispheric common market” with “open borders," ….

“I’ll have those n*****s voting Democratic for 200 years,” author Ronald Kessler quoted President Lyndon B. Johnson as saying. But this prediction may fall flat, according to CNN analyst, ex-Obama Green Jobs “Czar,” and self-proclaimed communist Van Jones.

Rendering commentary on CNN after the State of the Union address Tuesday night, Jones warned Democrats that they may face electoral disaster in November because President Trump is “going after enough black votes to cause us problems.”

With President Trump acquitted and the Democrats outwitted, House Speak Nancy Pelosi drowned her tears with a tear Tuesday night, destroying a copy of the State of the Union Address on camera when the president concluded his speech. Unfortunately for the California representative, while her office claimed it was a spontaneous act, a camera caught her preparing for her big moment in a manner previously reserved for her money-making deals: under the table.

“The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter,” goes the saying. Achieving such cynicism only took 2 ½ minutes at an Iowa caucus site, however, when a woman who’d voted for Pete Buttigieg was shocked to learn he was in a homosexual relationship and consequently wanted to rescind her vote. A Buttigieg operative then tried to reverse her thinking, using arguments that inspire lines about five-minute conversations.

It was Monday at Crestwood High School in Cresco when a Democrat caucus voter and Senator Amy Klobuchar supporter, identified only as “Geert,” had agreed to join Buttigieg acolytes in voting for the 38-year-old mayor of South Bend, Indiana. But then she overheard other backers mention the man billed as the candidate’s “spouse,” Chasten Buttigieg, in a conversation. This sparked an exchange….

Senator Elizabeth Warren has tried hard to pander to the sexual devolutionaries, even vowing to have a “transgender” child vet her education secretary. But caught on undercover video, one of her campaign staffers scoffed at this focus, saying it’s why Democrats lose elections.
