• Hillary 3.0? On 2020 Run, Clinton Says “I’d Like to Be President”

    Donkey-ElephantBy Selwyn Duke

Perhaps she thinks the third time’s the charm, but charmed fellow Democrats are not. Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said Friday that she’d like to be president — though she’s “not even going to think about it until we get through this November 6th election.”

  • LGBT Lobby Invades Polish Schools; Gov’t Pushes Back

    Linked Male SymbolsBy Selwyn Duke

While Poland’s government has thus far managed to keep unassimilable migrants out of its country, it hasn’t been as successful with another foreign import: the homosexual agenda. In fact, many Polish schools just celebrated an “LGBT tolerance day,” though some canceled the indoctrination event after pressure from the ruling Law and Justice Party.

As the AP reports, “More than 200 schools had planned to take part in ‘Rainbow Friday,’ an anti-discrimination event that a civic rights group, the Campaign Against Homophobia, had promoted in hopes of building greater acceptance for LGBT students.”

Note the subtle propaganda. “Anti-discrimination” would be assumed to reference efforts to eliminate unjust disparate treatment of different groups. But does it here? Or is it a euphemism for diminishing people’s ability to discriminate between good and evil?

  • Will Migrant Caravan Kill Your Child — With Disease?

    2455472_blogSelwyn Duke

Unhinged Floridian Cesar Sayoc’s 13 bombs didn’t, thankfully, detonate. But there’s a larger bomb — a biological one — that soon may go off in our midst: the migrant invasion currently snaking its way toward our nation.

So says Dr. Jane Orient, executive director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, in so many words.

  • Does Democrat-sparked “Blowback” Explain Bomber Cesar Sayoc?

    Donkey-ElephantBy Selwyn Duke

In their typical inverted-world fashion, the media have blamed Donald Trump for the actions of Florida “bomber” Cesar Sayoc (shown). But he really may represent what the Left has called “blowback.”

Remember that this is how many Democrats (among others) characterized Muslim terrorism. As progressive think tank Institute for Policy Studies put it during the G.W. Bush administration in 2005, “Blowback from Iraq War Is Global, and Growing.” (Curiously, blowback talk diminished after Obama took office.)

The idea is that if you push someone enough, he pushes back; getting in a person’s face can lead to a faceoff.

  • Does Megyn Kelly’s Firing Reflect Anti-white Racism?

    Prejudice SignBy Selwyn Duke

Now-ex-NBC host Megyn Kelly groveled before the false gods of faux virtue after defending a white person’s right to dress up as late singer Diana Ross. It didn’t save her job, though.

You’ve probably heard the story, just not correctly. Kelly (shown) was accused of “racism” for defending “blackface” make-up — except it wasn’t blackface (it didn’t help that Kelly called it that herself).

At issue was Real Housewives of New York City star Luann de Lesseps, who “appeared at fellow Housewife Dorinda Medley‘s Halloween bash back in October dressed as Diana Ross — complete with a ’70s-inspired white halter-top jumpsuit and oversized black afro,” reports People. She’s also “accused” of seeking an authentic look by darkening her skin tone somewhat. De Lesseps denies this, groveling as well and explaining, “I [merely] had bronzer on that I wear normally” and that she didn’t mean to offend anybody.

  • So-called Designer Babies Are Here — but They’re Eugenics Babies

    Baby in WombBy Selwyn Duke

Draw me up a son who’ll be 6’4”, built like Michelangelo’s David, drop-dead handsome, athletic as all get-out, with multiple talents and a 185 I.Q. — and here’s my check. While we’re not yet at this point, what some are calling “designer babies” are already a reality, though that quoted term here is a euphemism. They’re actually selected babies who’ve made the most unforgiving cut.

  • Trumping Transgender Myths With Title IX Realities

    Sex Symbols-ConfusionBy Selwyn Duke

Self-image is not reality. For this reason, sadly, merely identifying as a journalist does not magically spark a transition toward erudition and wisdom. This is apparent in the coverage of how the Trump administration may define “sex” under Title IX as pertaining to the biological reality of being male or female.

This proposal, which reflects basic birds-and-bees scientific fact, has evoked hisses as “trans” people vow that they #WontBeErased. What’s missed is that the move would merely erase a bureaucratic erasure of Title IX’s meaning.

There are two entirely different but generally conflated issues here: the legal matter of what Title IX actually (and obviously) dictates, and the biological/medical issue relating to the reality, or lack thereof, of “transgenderism.” And one reason for this mistake is that people almost universally conflate two different but relevant terms.

  • Suspicious: Dem Ballot Came Postage Paid — GOP Ballot Didn’t

    Banana RepublicBy Selwyn Duke

If you ordered both Republican and Democrat absentee ballots and one arrived postage paid while the other didn’t, what would you think? Well, this is precisely the experience one couple had in Leon County, Florida. As American Thinker’s Steve Holland reports on what transpired when he prepared to mail his and his wife’s ballots…

  • Invasion USA: Migrant Caravan Heads to U.S. — Just in Time for Midterms

    Donkey-ElephantBy Selwyn Duke

Quite conveniently, as poll numbers showed the Democrats’ “blue wave” wavering, a migrant caravan began heading toward our shores — just in time to become a midterm election issue. President Trump vowed to cut foreign aid to Central America if the invasion wasn’t halted, and he’s now following through on that threat in the hope that money talks. Nonetheless, the caravan still walks.

The invasion, estimated to now have swelled to 7,200 strong, is the result of decades of purposely poor migration policy. Obviously, Human Nature 101 informs that rewarding a behavior encourages more of it. The message we’ve sent — sneak into the U.S. any way you can, and you’ll get kid-glove treatment, benefits and, perhaps, even amnesty — guarantees a continual flow of opportunistic migrants.

Yet some are a bit more than just opportunistic.

  • Synagogue Opens “LGBTQ” Café for Teens

    Sex Symbols-ConfusionBy Selwyn Duke

What would Moses say? This is a good question with the recent creation of an “LGBTQ” café for teens — at a New Jersey synagogue.

The gathering spot, called Café Q and hosted by Congregation Beth Hatikvah in the town of Summit, will be open every third Sunday between 3 and 5 p.m., with October 21 having been its opening day.
