• EU Takes Major Step Toward “European Army”

Big Man Stepping on Small ManBy Selwyn Duke

The European Union has been moving toward disunion, with Brexit and member states such as Hungary, Poland, Italy, and Austria opposing Brussels’ Muslim migration schemes. But now, perhaps in a move designed to shore up EU unity, a group of its states has reportedly agreed to create a joint force that would be, say observers, a step toward a “European army.”

  • How Killing Racial Profiling Is Killing Blacks

    Politically CorrectBy Selwyn Duke

“Please Stop Helping Us,” reads the title of a 2014 book by black author Jason Riley. This plea could be uttered to the black race hustlers and white liberals who hamper policing with “racial profiling” propaganda, a move that has helped many blacks — into graves.

  • Restaurant Risibility: Sarah Sanders, and Justice, Won’t Be Served in America

    Prejudice SignBy Selwyn Duke

We don’t know if White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders feels hen-pecked, but she certainly was rejected by Virginia’s Red Hen restaurant. The Lexington establishment threw her out Friday night because of her association with the Trump administration. Perhaps it’s “No shoes, no shirt, no insane leftism, no service.”

Some may wonder, as a woman close to me did, if Sanders can sue. Alas, no, and this raises a serious issue: Do Americans ever ponder how we have “protected classes” and, therefore, “unprotected classes” in today’s equality-über-alles United States? Do they consider this just? And how is this allowable under the 14th Amendment, which guarantees equal treatment under the law?

  • The Enemy South: Next Mexican President Says Invading U.S. is a “Human Right”

Andrés Manuel López ObradorBy Selwyn Duke

Should Mexico be declared an enemy nation? This question is more valid than ever now that our southern neighbor’s presumptive next president has declared that invading the United States — i.e., mass, uncontrolled migration — is a “human right.”

  • Time Peddling Slime: Crying Tot on Mag Cover is Rank Propaganda

    Shell GameBy Selwyn Duke

A girl cries and the media lies. That’s what the recent viral Time magazine cover, showing a weeping Honduran tot facing President Trump, reflects. The photoshopped image has been used to symbolize the separation of migrant children from their parents — a policy dictated by U.S. law and which Barack Obama also pursued — but what really needs separation here is fact from fiction.

  • Acting Like a Hate Group, SPLC Pays Large Settlement and May Be Sued Further

    Cash and HandcuffsBy Selwyn Duke

“SPLC” may not stand for Sneaky Propaganda and Libel Center, but more and more Americans think it should. This is especially true after the organization had to pay a large settlement to an Islamic reformer it falsely labeled an “anti-Muslim extremist,” a victory that has inspired other targeted entities to also consider suing the SPLC.

The far left-wing SPLC, or Southern Poverty Law Center, has long played a real-life cross between Santa Claus and Stalin, making a list of who’s naughty or nice and then managing to “gift” those it deems “haters” with stigmatization. Yet the misnamed organization — it has little to do with poverty or law, neither experiencing nor alleviating the former and violating the latter’s spirit — makes a habit of targeting those whose only trespass is, well, disagreeing with the SPLC. I ought to know: I myself was placed on its “HateWatch” page about a decade ago (more on that later).

  • Obama Separated Families and Detained Kids, Media Said Nothing

    Donkey-ElephantBy Selwyn Duke

What are you called when you’re condemned for doing what others have long done? Right now, you may be called “President Donald Trump.”

In a cynical attempt to find a winning midterm issue, the Democrats and their public-relations team (a.k.a., the U.S. media) have pilloried President Trump for “separating families” and detaining minors in “camps.” But the reality is that the policies in question have been in place for a few administrations, with presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama also “separating families” and placing children in the same types of detention facilities. This should surprise no one, as that is what U.S. law — duly enacted by Congress — dictates must happen.

  • California School to Be Named After Homosexual Illegal Alien

    Divided AmericaBy Selwyn Duke

In yet another move serving to diminish our sense of nationhood, a school in California will be named after an illegal alien.

The school, in Mountain View, will bear the name of one Jose Antonio Vargas. Vargas came to the United States in 1993 at age 12 and has committed numerous felonies (using fraudulent documents), including claiming on I-9 forms to be an American citizen so that he could get various jobs, such as with the Washington Post.

  • Antifa Reveals Identities of ICE Agents — Using Information Given by College Professor

    Demonic GirlBy Selwyn Duke

Antifa, the leftist group known for Brownshirt tactics, is at it again. It just tweeted out a list of 1,595 Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents’ identities — information passed to it by a New York University college professor.

  • Trump Tells Truth: Dems Want to “Infest Our Country” With Illegals for Votes

    Donkey-ElephantBy Selwyn Duke

Once again President Trump has made waves — by telling the truth — in just the way a regular guy would. After defending our now somewhat saner migration policies in a Tuesday speech, he sent a Wednesday morning tweet stating, “Democrats are the problem. They don’t care about crime and want illegal immigrants, no matter how bad they may be, to pour into and infest our Country, like MS-13. They can’t win on their terrible policies, so they view them as potential voters!”

Unsurprisingly, leftists complained about this description, with CNN writing that “Trump used language evoking images of pests, not human beings, when describing migrants approaching the US border.” This is reminiscent of the MS-13 controversy, in which liberals bristled when the president characterized the gang’s violent members as “animals”; the idea was that Trump was denying the dignity of the human person.

One of those condemning him was CNN commentator Ana Navarro, who herself had characterized Trump as an animal just two years ago; she furthermore said he “should drop out of the human race.”
