It’s a shocking claim made by a political insider: The Deep State is so opposed to draining the swamp that it will, if necessary, kill President Trump to prevent it.

The New College Intellectualism: It’s Okay to Kill Young Children
A University of Knoxville student recently said it was okay to kill young children who can’t communicate. He’s not alone. Two “philosophers” justified “after-birth abortion” in 2012. The next year students at George Mason University signed a petition to legalize the practice. Also in 2013, an MSNBC host opined that when life begins “depends an awful lot on the feeling of the parents.” Welcome to the intellectual vanguard of the culture of death.
The Tennessee student’s opinion was captured on video by Students for Life’s Appalachian Regional Coordinator Brenna Lewis. As Liberty Nation reports, “The interviewee concurs with colleagues that two-year-olds unable to speak due to muteness, autism, learning infirmities, and other difficulties should be put to death” (hat tip: Whatfinger.com).

Leftist Arrogance: Why Liberals Need to Look Down on Conservatives
Did you ever wish you could buy liberals for what you know they’re worth and sell them for what they think they’re worth? A common theme among progressives is that conservatives aren’t just wrong, they’re dumb. Reagan was dumb. G.W. Bush was dumb. Trump is dumb. “Knuckle-dragger,” “mouth-breather,” “stupid” and “uncultured” are typical pejoratives hurled at conservatives, who apparently tend to live in trailer parks, require dental care, handle snakes and marry first cousins. Why, I had a liberal actor (excuse the redundancy) tell me once that I wasn’t necessarily bad, just not as “evolved” as he was. (I had a great retort at the ready, but decided to just lash him with my tail instead.)
The reason for this arrogance isn’t as simple as many may think, as it relates to a deep psychological phenomenon that makes it difficult for those afflicted to evolve out of the leftist primordial soup.

Video: 10 Scary Facts About Artificial Intelligence
By Selwyn Duke
I present the video below, which I found via Whatfinger News, because it's short and interesting. Bear in mind, however, that futurists have a terrible track record (predicting that England would likely be gone by the year 2000 and what not); in fact, I can't think of one of them who has been largely correct in his predictions.
One assumption made in this video is that robots will become self-aware, which is something even certain scientists say is impossible. So take much of what's contained below with a grain of salt.

Oprah for President? Really? It’s No Joke
If our truth-stranger-than-fiction culture persists, parody sites such as the Onion may be put out of business. Case in point: After Oprah Winfrey’s Sunday speech at the Golden Globe awards, there’s serious talk about her running for the White House. NBC even tweeted during the event, “Nothing but respect for OUR future president.” Although the network later deleted and disowned the tweet, stating it was sent by “a third party agency for NBC Entertainment,” Winfrey may in fact be poised for a major-party run.
The BBC writes that “her speech sounded an awful lot like a presidential candidate on the campaign stump,” and CNN quotes two of Winfrey’s friends as saying she was “actively thinking” about a White House run.
Winfrey certainly has two prerequisites for presidential ambitions: Money and name recognition. Worth $3 billion, she could self-fund a political campaign. And having hosted The Oprah Winfrey Show for a quarter century, she’s a household name. Then she has that one prerequisite for running on the Democrat ticket: radical politics.

Truth on DACA: We’ve Already Granted Amnesty to These Illegals
In our through-the-looking-glass world, we so often view matters backwards without even realizing it. Take DACA (actually, leave it), where even many conservatives consider it a given that the individuals covered under it must somehow be granted amnesty. Overlooked is that they’ve already been granted amnesty.

Young Boy Has Close Encounter with Sharks
This is an amazing video, shot from a drone above a Bahamian beach. I spent much time swimming and snorkeling in tropical waters as a boy, and I suppose I'm blessed I never ended up as lunch (though I realize the chances of being bitten by a shark are very slim). The only close encounter I ever had was with a barracuda when I was about 10, and I think he was more shocked than I was. Anyway, the video below is short and, thank God, not bloody.

The Lib/Con Utah School Porn War Rages On
Recently I reported on the firing of Mateo Rueda, now an ex-art teacher after showing 10 and 11-year-olds nude “artwork” at Lincoln Elementary School in Hyrum, Utah on Dec. 4. Normally I would have let this story go by now, but Rueda continues playing the victim, aided and abetted by complicit reporters; libertines the world over; and, unfortunately, some good people who don’t realize that the media have mischaracterized his trespass.
Rueda, a native of Colombia, demands an apology, even as he condemns his fellow Cache Valley residents as “cultural dead-ends” and members of a “narrow-minded community.” He also said, “I was overqualified[;] I took the [teaching] position with an open heart to make a difference in a predominantly[] Mormon community where there isn’t much culture.” My, charitable as well as charming! Yet his defenders — who’ve called people such as me puritans, prudes and even Nazi-like book burners — should know that Rueda himself confessed that the nudes were out of bounds.
