• Even if the Russians Did Hack the Emails, So What?

    Failure FigureBy Selwyn Duke

“The Russians hacked the election!” say Democrats trying to discredit Donald Trump’s presidency. Of course, their statement is deceptive, referring only to the theory that the Russians provided Wikileaks with the campaign season’s revelatory Democrat emails.

Not surprisingly, the Fake (establishment) Media has embraced the theory, which is probably the best argument for its falsity. In addition, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange denies russian involvement. So does Britain’s former ambassador to Uzbekistan, Craig Murray, who said “I’ve met the person who leaked them [the emails]” and that the individual is an “insider” representing Democrats angry over “the corruption of the Clinton Foundation and the tilting of the primary election playing field against Senator Bernie Sanders.” Moreover, both FBI director James Comey and James Clapper, director of National Intelligence, said there’s “no credible evidence” Russia influenced Nov. 8’s outcome, according to reporter Ed Klein. Yet whatever the truth, the more important matter is that the issue is being used as a distraction and a tool for disruption.

What was actually revealed by Wikileaks and what effect it had are being conflated with the matter of who revealed it, as if the messenger somehow changes the message. Consider an analogy: Imagine it came to light that a Capitol Hill restaurant’s kitchen was filthy and vermin-infested. Would the health department’s course of action be dictated by whether the information came from a disgruntled employee or an investigative reporter who illegally gained access to the kitchen? If the latter, would Washington Democrats still eat there?

  • Petulant Children Whining about Electoral College Shouldn’t Have the Vote

    Boy Throwing TantrumBy Selwyn Duke

    There’s a reason we don’t let nine-year-olds vote.

But what about those overgrown children who are nine between the ears?

It wasn’t long ago that Hillary Clinton condemned Donald Trump for refusing “to say he would respect the results of this election.” Calling it something “no other presidential nominee has ever done,” she proclaimed, “[B]y doing that, he is threatening our democracy.”

Of course, that was when Clinton was sure she’d win.

Now, with liberals having rioted, issued death threats against Trump electors and basically having thrown a tantrum, it’s apparent they’re willing to storm the walls of the Bastille to get their way.

  • Time for a Complete Halt on All Immigration

    Greater MexicoBy Selwyn Duke

Immigration today, immigration tomorrow, immigration forever? In recent times there has been much controversy over President-elect Donald Trump’s campaign-trail suggestion that we temporarily halt immigration from Muslim nations (which has been modified). The Left claims such a notion is “discriminatory,” un-American and even, most ridiculously, unconstitutional. Yet there’s a simple way to avoid this debate altogether:

Institute a moratorium on all immigration.

  • Company Some Label “Fakebook” Vows to Censor “Fake” News

Big Man Stepping on Small ManBy Selwyn Duke

Will it be just a clamp-down on what’s fake or an unfair shake? That’s the question now that social-media behemoth Facebook has vowed to combat “fake news.”

As Business Insider reports, “Facebook is going to start fact-checking, labeling, and burying fake news and hoaxes in its News Feed, the company said Thursday. The decision comes after Facebook received heated criticism for its role in spreading a deluge of political misinformation during the US presidential election, like one story that falsely said the Pope had endorsed Donald Trump.”

So far, so good, many will say. We all agree that we don’t want the spread of misinformation masquerading as news. And the above example is a clear-cut case of a completely fake story. Yet Facebook doesn’t stop there; it also vows to censor “misleading” stories. This raises the question: Who decides what’s misleading?

  • Vote Fraud? More Votes Than Voters in One-third of Detroit Precincts

    Banana RepublicBy Selwyn Duke

Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein was certainly right when she said, “We do not have a voting system we can trust.” And her aborted recount in Michigan helped prove it, revealing that more than one-third of Detroit voting machines recorded more votes than voters.

As the Detroit News writes, “Detailed reports from the office of Wayne County Clerk Cathy Garrett show optical scanners at 248 of the city’s 662 precincts, or 37 percent, tabulated more ballots than the number of voters tallied by workers in the poll books. Voting irregularities in Detroit have spurred plans for an audit by Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson’s office, Elections Director Chris Thomas said Monday.”

This presented problems with the Michigan recount, which has since been halted by a judge who found that Jill Stein didn’t have standing as an aggrieved party. As the News also informs, “Overall, state records show 10.6 percent of the precincts in the 22 counties that began the retabulation process couldn’t be recounted because of state law that bars recounts for unbalanced precincts or ones with broken seals. The problems were the worst in Detroit, where discrepancies meant officials couldn’t recount votes in 392 precincts, or nearly 60 percent. And two-thirds of those precincts had too many votes.”

  • Obama in Interview: America “By No Means” Has Overcome “Legacies of Slavery” and “Racism”

    Slave Ship PictureBy Selwyn Duke

In a recent interview, Barack Obama expressed the shopworn belief that America has not “overcome” the legacy of “slavery.” The president was not, apparently, talking about how Americans are essentially enslaved to the government until April 24, which in 2015 was the day we had to work until to pay the nation’s tax burden. (Note: According to the Tax Foundation, Americans spent “more on taxes in 2015 than … on food, clothing, and housing combined.”) Rather, he was referring to the slavery that ended 151 years ago.

Obama made his comments Monday night while being interviewed at the White House by Trevor Noah, host of Comedy Central’s Daily Show (video below). After Noah asked him how he skirts “that line between speaking your mind and sharing your true opinions on race whilst, at the same time, not being seen to alienate some of the people you are talking to,” Obama replied that while race isn’t the only factor in our lives, “we have, by no means, overcome the legacies of slavery and Jim Crow and colonialism and racism, but that the progress we've made has been real and extraordinary; if I'm communicating my genuine belief that those who are not subject to racism can sometimes have blind spots or lack of appreciation of what it feels to be on the receiving end of that, but that doesn't mean that they're not open to learning and caring about equality and justice.”

  • Anti-homosexual “Trump” Notes? Another Leftist “Hate” Hoax

    Shell GameBy Selwyn Duke

How many hateful acts are actually committed by “rightists”? So few, apparently, that leftists have repeatedly seen fit to fake them.

Yet another example comes to us from Chicago’s North Park University in Illinois, where an openly bisexual college student was found to have fabricated a story about having received anti-homosexual, pro-Trump notes.

  • Trump Establishment Media, Mr. President-elect — Put New Media in White House Press Room

    Donkey-ElephantBy Selwyn Duke

With an anti-establishment figure poised to assume the presidency, isn’t it time to put anti-establishment media in the White House briefing room? Other than sacrificing the .1 percent of positive coverage Donald Trump might otherwise get from the mainstream media, it’s hard to see a downside.

As it stands right now, the establishment media (emedia) practically has a monopoly on access to the president. As Ari Fleischer, former press secretary for President G.W. Bush, wrote at the Wall Street Journal, “While approximately 750 reporters hold White House credentials, the briefing room holds 49 seats, and they are occupied overwhelmingly by mainstream media reporters, with barely any assigned to the new dot-com world.”

  • Intolerant SJW Spews Venom at White Males

    By Selwyn Duke

If you can't talk things out, you can only fight them out. Those who will not submit to reason, will only submit to force. In the video below, a female "social-justice warrior" college student exhibits the true face of the radical left, unreasonable, intolerant, hateful, dismissive, contemptuous and contemptible. She spews venom at the young white men talking to her as she makes clear that she isn't interested in debate, only venting her anger. She is quite literally the kind of person who, if she had the power, would have her political opponents murdered. Watch the video and see if you disagree.

  • The Question to Ask Every Spokesman for Islam

    By Selwyn Duke

In the video below, Sean Hannity discusses Muslim terrorism with three guests, one of whom is Imam Mohammad Ali Elahi, spiritual leader of the "House of Wisdom" in Dearbornistan Heights. At 5:28 in the video something very telling happens: Hannity cites a poll showing that a majority of Muslims in the U.S. believe they should have the right to decide whether they want to live under the Constitution or Sharia law, and then asks Elahi if he thinks Muslims should have that choice. What do you think his answer was?

If you guessed that he dodged the question, go to the head of the class.

Unfortunately, Hannity made the mistake of not pressing the matter. Understand that asking such a question places someone such as Elahi between a rock and a hard place. If he answers yes, he loses the whole audience and helps reveal the true face of believing Muslims. Yet he can't answer no, either. You see, he obviously runs in circles with very pious Muslims (and, of course, he has his "flock"), and to answer no would rob him of credibility with them. I'm guessing he'd be viewed as a traitor and a phony Muslim. This, not to mention that he himself no doubt believes Sharia should be preeminent (that he looks like an advertisement for medieval Arabia is a clue).

Every spokesman for Islam should be asked that question: Should Muslims in the U.S. have the choice to live under the Constitution or Sharia law? The answers — or dodges — will tell the tale.
