As if the irony of Barack Obama having been dubbed the first “post-racial president” wasn’t thick enough, now the Obama administration wants to create a new racial category — for people from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Just as with “Hispanic,” “Arab” and “Persian,” the two terms describing most Middle Easterners, refer not to races but ethnicities. But now the feds want to change this in what USA Today describes as “the biggest realignment of federal racial definitions in decades.” The new category would include Israeli Jews and Coptic Christians as well and would appear on 2020 census forms.

And while “creating a new race” may seem the domain of God, what’s going on here is actually quite devilish.

A case in point is Wiregrass Ranch High School in Wesley Chapel, FL, where showing disrespect for the National Anthem is supposedly a “First Amendment right.” Wearing a Confederate Flag cape, however, is a violation.

Perhaps Hillary Clinton ought to ponder the saying, “Tell me who your friends are, and I’ll tell you who you are.” First there was “gold star father” Khzir Khan, who, after excoriating Donald Trump at the Democratic National Convention, was discovered to be a Sharia law supporterwho made money facilitating Muslim immigration into the United States. Now Clinton is using Venezuelan-born former beauty pageant winner Alicia Machado (shown) as a means to thump Trump, slamming the GOP nominee for supposedly “fat shaming” Machado 20 years ago. It turns out, however, that the ex-beauty queen has many reasons to feel shame. And though erstwhile corpulence isn’t among them, being an accomplice to attempted murder, having an out-of-wedlock child with a drug kingpin, and threatening a judge’s life may be.

You probably will remember "Clock Boy" Ahmed Mohamed, who was invited to the White House after bringing what resembled a bomb to school. He supposedly was a victim of "Islamophobia." But you probably haven't heard of Levi Frunk, who, like Mohamed, got into trouble for bringing a dangerous-looking device to school. And you likely would never have heard of him if I hadn't posted the story here because, you see, poor Levi isn't a member of one of today's privileged classes. Pamela Geller has the story at Breitbart:

Sandy High Oregon High School student Levi Frunk has been suspended and will miss playing in his homecoming football game, because of a homemade phone charger he was using in school. He was suspended and he wasn’t Muslim. Hmmmm.

Was he suspended because he was Jewish? Would anyone even suggest that, even though hate crime against Jews is nearly 60% (where anti-Muslim hate crime is 11%)?

Oregon’s KATU reported Sunday that Levi’s “homemade electronic device… looked like a bomb, but to Levi Frunk and his family it was just the latest creation from a very smart 15-year-old. In reality the device was a homemade charger he used to charge his phone.”

But Levi “took it to Sandy High School and left it out in a locker room to charge his phone during weight training. His coach saw it and called security.” Levi was suspended for a day and a half.

Where is this boy’s invitation to the White House, President Obama? You remember “Clockmed,” aka Ahmed Mohamed. Mohamed took apart an LCD digital clock and stuck it in a box. What he put together resembled a homemade bomb. Ahmed brought it to school. When teachers and school administration officials became concerned for the safety of the students, they walked into Clockmed’s trap.

Can we know who the Muslim migrants entering the West really are? While the Obama administration and other Western governments say yes, the story of a Canadian poster girl for “refugee” resettlement says no.

As Canada’s first “Afghan-born” minister of Parliament (the equivalent of a congressman), Maryam Monsef (shown) was touted. But now she has been outed — as actually having been born in Iran (although she is of Afghan descent). And while she and her defenders claim she was misled, evidence is strong that she has long known the truth.

Imagine if there were a story presenting two very striking possibilities:

1. The president of the United States is perpetrating a fraud, in a con job of historical proportions.

2. A major law-enforcement agency is making, perhaps knowingly, an untrue and seriously damaging allegation against a sitting president.

Wouldn’t you say that, either way, it was a big story warranting further investigation?

We don’t have to imagine, however, because this is precisely the case with the investigation of Barack Obama’s birth certificate by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), the largest sheriff’s department in Arizona. Yet this huge story is treated like a non-story.

Nonetheless, chapters are still being written, with MCSO’s Sheriff Joe Arpaio (shown) recently announcing that he’s still investigating the Obama “birth certificate” produced in 2011, which his team of experts had previously determined is a forged document.

Donald Trump’s claim that he could build a southern-border wall and have Mexico pay for it was certainly good GOP primary rhetoric. But now a former Mexican official says it’s also something the Republican nominee’s critics never suspected: a realistic policy proposal.

Jorge Castañeda, who was Mexico's secretary of foreign affairs from 2000 to 2003 and is now a New York University professor, made his comments at the Hudson Institute (video below) in Washington last Wednesday.

Ah, that pesky First Amendment. It limits the power of government, notes the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights (USCCR), “to impede individuals from practicing their religious beliefs.” This and other such laments permeate a recent USCCR report that, writes WND.com, “made the stunning claim that the nation should codify into law the Obama administration’s longtime belief that Christians and others of faith can be forced to violate their beliefs to accommodate pro-homosexual or pro-transgender ‘nondiscrimination’ laws.” It’s all part of an effort to further empower a movement that has already led to the persecution of bakers, florists, photographers, calligraphers, and other businessmen who refused to service faux weddings.

Not surprisingly, many are aghast at the commission’s constitutional contempt.

What do you call people who use foreigners to win power? The hirers of mercenaries? In today’s political campaigns (a military term, interestingly), they’re called something else: statist public officials.

And they’re hard at work, an internal Obama administration e-mail shows, trying to turn as many foreigners as possible into citizens in time to vote in the November 8 election.
