• Missing the Point on the “Transgender” Bathroom Wars

    Sex Symbols-ConfusionBy Selwyn Duke

“You fundamentally can't change sex…. Transsexualism was invented by psychiatrists,” said former “transsexual” Alan Finch in 2004. This is a truth; however, it has not stopped the advocates of an invented status from trying to change society. And if conservatives want to preserve sanity, they need to change their arguments.

Recent times have seen a growing number of leftist bathroom dictates, such as the unconstitutional Obama administration directive instructing schools to allow students to use the opposite sex’s facilities if they so desire. In response, conservatives have stated that the real problem is not having a made-up-sex-status (MUSS) man using women’s bathrooms, but that sexual predators will use an I’m-really-a-woman ruse to indulge their perversion. This is a valid argument — one that should be made.  Nonetheless, it is not the main problem with the MUSS agenda.

  • Gun-registry-loving Obama Security Advisor Refused to “Record another Muslim”

    MuslimStarandCrescentBy Selwyn Duke

"A Muslim doesn’t record another Muslim," said Gamal Abdel-Hafiz (shown). This might not have been noteworthy except that Abdel-Hafiz was an FBI agent at the time and was refusing to do his duty, which at that moment involved taping a Muslim suspect.

That was 2002, and this is now. And now the Cairo-born Abdel-Hafiz has moved on to bigger and perhaps better things — he’s a homeland-security advisor to Barack Obama. And while recording a single Muslim is a problem for him, putting every single American firearm owner on a gun-registry he fancies a good idea.

  • Two-brain-cell Hillary Strikes Again

    By Selwyn Duke

Barack Obama has often been mocked for, even in situations where most might speak extemporaneously, reading from a Teleprompter. But it turns out that Hillary Clinton can't even do that.

While criticizing Donald Trump in a speech, Clinton reached a point where her Teleprompter had a "sigh" cue in parentheses; that's how scripted she is. But it wasn't scripted enough for her.

Instead of actually sighing, she paused and then read the word "sigh." The video is below.

Yes, this is definitely the two-brain-cell wonder we need at our nation's helm.

  • AR-15 Speaks! A New — and Real — Anti-black Bigotry

    Ar15By AR-15 and Selwyn Duke

Hi, my name is AR-15. Some of you know me, but many more of you know of me — through the media. But you may not know the real me.

I’m that cool, sleek-looking black gun you’ve seen profiled by the press. They put me in newspapers and on TV, showing my picture as if it’s a mug shot, even though I’ve never committed a crime. Oh, bad people have at times used (and abused) me to do bad things, but not really that often; as even The New York Times admitted in 2014, firearms such as me — which that paper and others call “assault weapons” — are only used in two percent of gun crimes (most are perpetrated with handguns).

  • Shocking: Veteran Forcibly Hauled Away for Mentioning God

Veteran Hauled Away for Citing GodBy Selwyn Duke

Upon hearing about a military veteran hauled away by soldiers for mentioning God, you might expect the story to be out of Shanghai, Beijing, or Tianjin. But the incident in question today is all the more outrageous because it occurred here in the USA — at Travis Air Force Base near Fairfield, California.

  • Correction! 2012 Study Showed Conservatives Are More Authoritarian? Actually, Not Really

    Angry ManBy Selwyn Duke

It was exactly what the mainstream media wanted to report: a study purporting to show that conservatives are more likely than liberals to exhibit authoritarian traits and “psychoticism,” which researchers said amounted to being “uncooperative, hostile, troublesome,… socially withdrawn, [and] manipulative.”

Except that the study actually showed precisely the opposite.

And in January — four years after the study was conducted — the researchers issued what Powerline recently called “The Epic Correction of the Decade.”

  • Philadelphia Gun-range Owner: Daily News Reporter Kuntzman Misrepresented AR-15 Interview

    Ar15By Selwyn Duke

There was no guarantee Frank Stelmach would talk to me. The owner of Double Tap Shooting Range and Gun Shop in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he’d been featured in an anti-AR-15 article written by Gersh Kuntzman (shown) of New York’s Daily News. And Stelmach sounded none too happy hearing from yet another journalist. “It would be nice if journalists would write what you actually say!” complained Stelmach on the phone. Concerned that this once-bitten, twice-shy man might hang up on me, I quickly chimed in, “I’m pro-gun. I’m on the other side.” Stelmach then asked, “How can I know you’re really pro-gun?” I offered to send him a number of my Second Amendment-oriented articles, and he later was kind enough to speak to me.

Stelmach was right to be wary. In the wake of the horrible Orlando massacre — in which an “AR-15-type rifle” (it was a Sig Sauer MCX, to be precise) as the media put it, was used by Muslim terrorist Omar Mateen — the Daily News has been front and center agitating against such weapons (The paper’s June 13 cover, referring to the Orlando massacre, shamelessly read “THANKS, NRA”). And it appears that Kuntzman misrepresented the gun-shop owner’s words, though perhaps not nearly as much as the News has misrepresented the firearms.

  • Thirty-year Christian Worker Fired After Opposing “Gay Marriage”

Big Man Stepping on Small ManBy Selwyn Duke

By all accounts, Charles Rhoads, Jr. was an excellent worker. After 30-plus years of employment at SPX Flow Technology’s site in Rochester, New York, he was an experienced man who'd been promoted and enjoyed excellent performance reviews. But that didn’t stop SPX from unceremoniously firing him last year — after he expressed opposition to faux marriage.

The problems began on April 20, 2015, when the dutiful Rhoads approached a subordinate, named Craig Tyler, who was engaging in a non-business conversation after his break time had ended — Tyler and another worker were on a phone viewing pictures from the latter’s faux wedding. Instead of simply resuming work, however, Tyler asked Rhoads if he wanted to see the pictures. After Rhoads declined, he says that Tyler “accused me of personally disliking the employee who was in a gay marriage.” Defending himself, Rhoads, a believing Christian, stated that the worker was a “likable person but marriage was from God and not from the politics of man,” reports Rhoads. He again expressed his disinterest in seeing the pictures, and Tyler departed in a huff.
