• Long Live Tradition — The Democracy of the Dead

    Church-MajesticBy Selwyn Duke

We hear much talk today about an “attack on democracy,” and, actually, there has long been one. That is, an attack on that “democracy extended through time,” that “democracy of the dead,” to quote G.K. Chesterton, that we call tradition. Tradition, it could be said, is the glue that binds society together. Oh, this is where the older among us might hear in our minds “Tradition!” bellowed in that famous song from the play Fiddler on the Roof. Unfortunately, we’ve done more than just fiddle with tradition in our civilization; we’ve thrown it off the roof. This may seem of little consequence to many, since they may be much like the play’s Tevye character, who confessed that he didn’t know why his people’s traditions existed.

  • Eric Weinstein Woes: Even Smart People Believe Anti-GOP, Pro-Dem Lies

    Donkey-ElephantBy Selwyn Duke

Explaining why she recently left what she now calls the “malicious and dishonest” Democratic Party, Maye Musk, Elon Musk’s mother, confessed that she was “brainwashed.” She also stated that others are likewise deceived. In fact, it could be said that millions love what they think the Democratic Party is. Relatively few love what it is. Likewise, though, millions hate what they think the Republican Party is.

Far fewer hate what it is.

Enter Eric Weinstein, host of podcast The Portal and originator of the term “intellectual dark web.” Oh, to be clear, he doesn’t hate the Republicans or love the Democrats. In fact, on a Halloween episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored, Weinstein called the Democratic leadership “evil.” But he also appeared the quintessence of the confused “undecided voter” — even if he is the highest-IQ undecided voter alive.

(Actually, strike that. There are no dead undecided voters; they’re all decidedly Democrat.)

  • “The Pfizer Papers”: The Story of Covid Tyranny and Evil

    Bad DoctorBy Selwyn Duke

“Like other drugs, vaccines require a long testing process to see whether they indeed protect people from disease, and do so safely.” So related an MD writing at the liberal Atlantic magazine in February 2020 — early in the Covid “pandemic.” The Atlantic also announced that a “vaccine won’t stop the new coronavirus.” It further predicted that cold and flu season would likely become cold, flu, and Covid season.

Of course, the magazine was right: The “vaccines’ didn’t stop Covid, and we do have cold, flu, and Covid season.

Yet there’s still more. The Atlantic additionally stated that any vaccine developed would come too late to help us with the pandemic. On this point, the mag was right and wrong. The outlet didn’t foresee the “Emergency Use Authorization” that would expedite Covid shots’ introduction. That the injections didn’t at all “help,” however, is the assertion in a newly published book. Titled The Pfizer Papers: Pfizer’s Crimes Against Humanity, it reveals what happens when vaccines don’t undergo “that long testing process.” That is, they perhaps won’t “protect people from disease” — “and do so safely.”

  • Climate Change? Be Very Afraid of CDS — Carbon Derangement Syndrome

    Ice AgeBy Selwyn Duke

In 2013, astrobiologist Jack O’Malley-James predicted that visible life on Earth would end due to too little atmospheric CO2. No, that’s not a typo. The gas’ levels will ultimately decline over time (the dinosaur age saw levels five to 10 times today’s), O’Malley-James explained. Eventually, they’ll drop so low that plants won’t be able to photosynthesize, which, of course, will collapse the food chain. And, sorry, but you won’t be the “last man standing” — unless you happen to be a microbe.

  • Anti-Christianity? “Black” Church Attendance Actually INCREASES Support for Kamala

Old Black People at ChurchBy Selwyn Duke

Church-attendance habits have long been one of the best predictors of voting patterns. That is, regular attendees support Republicans by a significant margin, while those never or seldom attending break solidly Democrat. But a new study has revealed a striking exception to this rule: black American churchgoers.

In fact, just the opposite as with whites, black church attendees are more likely to support Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris than are black Americans who never attend.

  • Why I, a Staunch Pro-Lifer, Staunchly Support Trump (and Why You Should, Too)

    Baby in WombBy Selwyn Duke

“The perfect should not be the enemy of good,” the saying goes. This comes to mind when hearing about a lamentable reality: Some pro-life Americans, upset about what many consider President Donald Trump’s “softening” abortion stance, are now reluctant to support him. Some may vote a pro-life ticket, if and where an option; others may not vote at all. Yet is this the best decision for our country or even the pro-life cause itself? My answer is no on both counts. I’ll explain why.

  • The Steal: Democrats Broke Election Law in 2020. They Got Away With It, Too

    Donkey-ElephantBy Selwyn Duke

The Democrats doth protest too much, methinks. This twist on a Shakespeare line applies perfectly to a Sunday story.

That is, some Democrats want President Donald Trump criminally charged for calling for a vote-counting halt on election night 2020. The irony (and hypocrisy)?

This is even though Democrats did halt vote counting in numerous states on election night 2020 — thus violating the law.

It definitely was against the law, too, avers commentator Norman Krieg. In fact, he cites state statutes to make his case.

Democrats, though, have gotten away with it.

  • Thoughtcrime: UK Veteran Convicted for Praying SILENTLY Near Abortion Mill

    HandsClaspedinPrayerBy Selwyn Duke

Not long ago, France made abortion a “constitutional right.” Britain hasn’t followed suit, but it can’t because it doesn’t have a constitution. In a way, however, it’s going France one better (read: worse).

Its government has just convicted a veteran and father of two for praying silently near an abortion “clinic.”

The kicker: The court finding him guilty reasoned that his prayer constituted “disapproval of abortion.”

Apparently, prenatal infanticide is now considered a sacrament in Britain — while praying is a sin.

  • Many Women Are One-issue Abortion Voters — and They’re “Keeping the Democrats Afloat,” Says Writer

    Baby in WombBy Selwyn Duke

A startling political phenomenon exists, and it has never been more profound than during this election cycle. That is, if only women voted, Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris would win in a landslide.

If only men voted, Republican presidential nominee President Donald Trump would win in a landslide.

And one issue that helps put the Democrats over the top with women is abortion. In fact, prenatal infanticide “is now the single most important issue to women under age 30,” wrote health-policy organization KFF October 11. Approximately four in 10 (39%) name “it as their top issue, followed by inflation (28%),” the site continued.

  • “Trump the Deep State and AdVance Toward Freedom!”

Man With Fists Raised in TriumphBy Selwyn Duke

“The pen is mightier than the sword,” Sir Edward Bulwer-Lytton wrote in 1839. And this power of words is well exemplified by the rallying cry known as the campaign slogan. In fact, “A recent study shows that campaign slogans have a direct effect on voting,” wrote website PoliticalMarketer.com in 2020. “When voters hear the saying more than once, they are more likely to vote for the candidate associated with it.” This is why, too, in these closing weeks of the election, I propose the following slogan for the GOP presidential ticket:

“Trump the deep state and adVance toward freedom!”

    Trump/Vance 2024

A slogan should capture “the essence of a political candidate or cause,” PoliticalMarketer also writes — and the above certainly qualifies. After all, we do want to Trump the deep state, and we do want to adVance toward freedom. (A little virtue wouldn’t hurt, either.)

So keeping this piece short and sweet, I’ll simply say to the undecided voters, Trump the deep state and adVance toward freedom. Your kids, both born and unborn, are counting on you.
