    Chalk up another victory for the post-racial president’s agenda. No, it’s not Barack Obama falsely claiming that white society denied black Hurricane Katrina victims monetary assistance.

    Or having a bigoted reverend ask at his inauguration when “white” will do “right.”

    Or having a DoJ that refuses to pursue voting-rights cases when the victims are white.

    Or sitting in a black-power church, where our country was called the “US of KKK-A,” for 20 years.

    This time it’s a black-supremacist Department of Homeland Security employee who, almost four months ago, was discovered to be running a website that advocated the mass murder of whites — and who is still in the employ of the DHS.

  • ObamaCare Lawbreaker in Chief: Barack Obama

    “The best way to get a bad law repealed is to enforce it strictly,” said Abraham Lincoln. It’s ironic that Barack Obama has claimed to pattern himself after Lincoln, because his modus operandi is just the opposite: perpetuate a bad law by enforcing it loosely.

    Or in a targeted fashion that suits political necessities.

    With millions losing health coverage Obama, Hillary Clinton and the Gang promised they could keep and with the ObamaCare rollout a washout, the president’s answer to his bad law is quintessential Obama. Don’t end it. Don’t mend it.

    Violate it.

  • Famed Leftist Gore Vidal Likely a Pedophile, Say Relatives

    A famed man of letters and sexual liaisons who never had a kind word for traditionalism, the late Gore Vidal hobnobbed with the rich and influential and locked horns with William F. Buckley on television. During one of these debates, Vidal called Buckley a “pro-crypto-Nazi,” prompting Buckley to call him a “queer.” Only one of these accusations was true, but both pale in comparison to a charge Vidal’s own relatives are now leveling at the writer.

    That, as the Daily Mail puts it, he was a “globe-trotting paedophile who preyed on underage boys.”

    The revelation came courtesy of Vidal’s half-sister Nina Straight and her son, Burr Steers, while talking to Tim Teeman, author of the new book In Bed with Gore Vidal. Both Straight and Steers were quite close to the writer during his last years; Vidal died in 2012 at age 86.

  • The Obama Purchase: Liberals Still Can’t Admit They Bought a Clunker

    Many years ago I knew a couple who adopted the habit of being gratuitously defensive about one another. If you made even the slightest comment questioning one of them in the other’s presence, that party would say something such as “Watch it!” The admonition, however, would lack a certain conviction.

    They were divorced soon after.

    Their earlier behavior then made sense: They couldn’t accept that their marriage was in trouble. And each spouse would react defensively to even mildly negative feedback about the other not because he knew it was false, but because he feared it was true. It validated feelings each was having about the other but desperately wanted to keep repressed.

    I’m reminded of this when considering the intellectual contortions of liberals who defend Barack Obama. No, it’s not perfectly analogous: liberals are driven more by political ambitions and ego than by a desire to make their “marriage” work. But the denial is similar.

  • School Official Tries to Label Complaining Parent a “Neo-Nazi”

    Pointing a finger and saying “bang!” isn’t the only thing that will
    get you in trouble in school today. Now it seems that just complaining
    about your child’s homework assignment can get a finger pointed at you —
    for being a neo-Nazi.

    This is precisely what happened to Josh Barry of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. And the kicker?

    Barry is Jewish and married to a woman who is half-black and half-white.

  • The Last Word on the Cuccinelli Race

    There has been much analysis of the Virginia governor’s race
    in which Clinton crony Terry McAuliffe edged out Republican Ken Cuccinelli by
    two points. Liberals have portrayed the outcome as heralding the death of the
    Tea Party, while conservatives have, among other things, blamed the GOP
    establishment for failing to provide the financial backing that could have put
    Cuccinelli over the top. But the truth?

    The Virginia race bodes well for the Tea Party in 2014.

  • Trashing Our Culture With Trash

    A long-growing garbage field much larger than Texas is creeping toward the United States’ west coast, and parts of it will increasingly make landfall for quite a long time.

    And one can’t help but think that it has come to the right place.

    A new book by writer Charlotte Hays entitled When Did White Trash Become the New Normal?
    will be released this week, and, paraphrasing historian Arnold Toynbee,
    it issues a serious warning: “Society crumbles when it takes cues from
    the underclass.”

  • Marvel Rolls out Muslim Girl Superheroine

    It must be really exciting being a kid today. Denied the
    strength that “lies in our diversity,” youngsters languishing in the
    unenlightened 1960s had to content themselves with banal white male superheroes
    such as Superman, Spiderman and Ironman. But not only has affirmative action
    created a Hispanic Spiderman (perhaps a white Hispanic?); a homosexual Pink…I
    mean, Green Lantern; and a Batwoman reintroduced in 2006 as a lesbian (the
    irony is that she was originally introduced in 1956 as a romantic interest designed
    to dispel rumors about Batman’s homosexuality); now Marvel Comics is giving us
    a female Muslim superheroine. Writes The
    Telegraph    :

    Marvel back as a 16-year-old daughter of Pakistani immigrants living in Jersey
    City named Kamala Khan.

  • Teaching All of the Facts, but None of the Truth

    While dining one evening in NYC with a brilliant man I once knew, we
    couldn’t help overhearing some moderns espousing progressive ideas at a
    nearby table. Seeming like typical Manhattanites, they were well spoken,
    likely had some higher degrees among them, and would have appeared to
    many to possess good command of the issues. My friend, though,
    unimpressed, simply said: “It’s amazing how you can know all of the
    facts but none of the Truth.”  

    Recently I had a conversation with another smart fellow who made the
    case that the way to minimize evil in the world was through education.
    This is a common idea. As we struggle to explain man’s condition, we
    sometimes fall back on the belief, “Knowledge is power.” Yet even if
    true, note that power can be misused. Moreover, even if true, it
    certainly isn’t absolute power.

    How often do we see people who know they’re smoking, drinking, or eating themselves to death but yet can’t stop?

  • There are Lies, Damned Lies and Democrats

    House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer certainly is a creative man.
    Asked about Barack Obama’s promise that everyone would be able to keep his
    health coverage if he liked it and the recent revelation that the Democrats
    knew all along that millions of Americans would lose their health plans under
    ObamaCare, he had an answer.

    “I think the message [the promise] was accurate. It was not
    precise enough…[it] should have been caveated with – ‘assuming you have a
    policy that in fact does do what the bill is designed to do,’” reports
    National Review.

    My, that’s rich.

    Almost Frank Rich.

    Since Hoyer’s lie about a lie speaks for itself, let’s just
    have a little fun here. Try this on for size:
