So, the Teleprompter-in-Chief held a press conference yesterday to mark his 100th day in office. And I understand that no one in the media fainted. Of course, when I hear all these stories about people passing out during Obama's appearances, I can't help but wonder if it isn't just that his soporific speeches aren't quite as riveting as the hype would suggest.

There is an old saying, “A man who
is capable of deceiving only others is not nearly as dangerous as a man who is
capable of deceiving himself.” Truer
words were never spoken. When a person
lies, he is deceiving others about reality, but at least knows he is engaging
in deception. But when someone
rationalizes – which is when you lie to yourself – he is truly lost. He then not only bends reality for others as a
by-product of bending it for himself, but he can render untruths without having
to lie. This is because a lie is when
you tell an untruth knowing it’s
untrue. It’s much like when the
ever-prevaricating George Costanza character on Seinfeld gave his advice for
beating a polygraph machine, “just remember . . . it’s not a lie if you believe
it.”

Approximately 20 delegates walked out of the Durban Review Conference Geneva, Switzerland after Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made controversial statements about Israel.
Our political world today is replete with irony, so I suppose it’s not
surprising that the very embodiment of prejudice, President Ahmadinejad
of Iran, would speak at a U.N. conference on “racism.” And he caused

They say that no one remembers second place, but this year’s
recently concluded Miss USA Pageant may prove that this isn’t always
true. In fact, some articles about the event, such as this one, don’t
mention the winner at all. Instead, the focus is on runner-up Miss
California USA, Carrie Prejean. At issue is her answer to a question
posed by “Perez Hilton,” a pseudonym used by homosexual gossip monger
and publicity hound Mario Armando Lavandeira. Injecting politics on
steroids into the pageant, Hilton asked Prejean about whether or not
other U.S. states should follow Vermont’s lead and legalize same-sex
“marriage.” And given that we’re discussing this, you can imagine what
her answer was.
Understandably, Prejean seemed nervous fielding the question and offered a very lukewarm response, saying:

By now, you’ve probably heard about the maelstrom surrounding the Miss USA Pageant. The contestant from California, Carrie Prejean, was denied the crown because she didn’t support faux marriage. And in the video above is the vicious creature who raised that contentious issue during the pageant; he is a gossip whore and homosexual who goes by the name Perez Hilton.
And this man truly has no shame. In the video, he calls the 21-year-old Prejean a “dumb b****.” In light of this, I have a question: Can we call Hilton a dumb fag? I mean, far be it from me to call him a dumb fag, but I’d just like to know if we can call him a dumb fag. Or is calling him a dumb fag out of bounds in some way?
