  • Response to Readers: It’s the Principle, Not the Principal

    Recently I wrote a piece about the Ponce de
    Leon, Florida, school board, which recently lost a free-speech case filed
    against it by the ACLU and a student. At
    issue were the actions of former Ponce de Leon High School principal David
    Davis, who was accused of stifling free expression by prohibiting pro-homosexual

  • Obama Let His 3-year-old Daughter Listen to Rap

    In response to the vile rap song hip-hop star Ludacris recently made in support of  Barack Obama, the senator’s campaign issued the following statement:

    "As Barack Obama has said many, many times in the past, rap lyrics today too often perpetuate misogyny, materialism, and degrading images that he doesn’t want his daughters or any children exposed to."

    Yet, in this 2004 video, he talks about how his little daughter was enamored of a certain rap song, and it’s obvious that he thought nothing of exposing her to such influences.

    If Barack Obama would expose his 3-year-old daughter to this corruptive trash, what does this tell us about his judgment?

    If there ever was an example of inmates running an asylum, it’s the
    modern government-school system. Thanks to numerous court rulings,
    students can now buck authority with the freedom to wear clothing and
    espouse political and social messages that their school – perhaps reflecting the wider community’s standards – deems objectionable.

    We really do live in a topsy-turvy world.   Today, no matter how based in common sense a measure might be, some people will always crawl out of the woodwork to tell you why up is down, hot is cold and left is right.  One example of this is opposition to cracking down on illegal immigration.

  • O’Reilly Factor Discusses Hate Crimes

    Laura Ingraham was filling in for Bill O’Reilly last night on his cable news show, and one of the segments pertained to an alleged rise in "hate crimes" in 2007.  She had as a guest Brian Levin, a civil rights attorney and Director of the Center for the Study of Hate & Extremism at California State University, San Bernardino.  Despite that title, however, it seems that Counselor Levin is a man who shouldn’t think, because when he does, he does it all wrong.

  • Convicted Murderer: Vote Obama

    Before convicted murderer Dale Leo Bishop was executed on Wednesday, he urged people to vote for Barack Obama.  But he made a big mistake.  He should have voiced his support for the Illinois senator earlier. 

    He might have gotten off by reason of insanity.

  • Audio: Autism Experts Speak Out

    On Monday of this week, The Savage Nation radio show was devoted to the topic of autism, with many experts from the mental-health field appearing.  It was possibly one of the best shows on the condition ever aired, informative and eye-opening.  Thus, I’m providing a link here to interviews and audio clips from the program.  I especially want to draw your attention to clip number six, an interview with Dr. Peter Breggin, the founder of the International Center for the Study of Psychiatry and Psychology.  He speaks of the corruption in the mental-health field, the creation of phony diagnoses and the over-drugging of American children.  Other clips are worth listening to as well, as they feature other mental-health professionals and people who have suffered the misfortune of having their children misdiagnosed.  But don’t miss the interview with Dr.  Breggin.

  • In the News – 7/22/08

    First up, Mexico has awarded its highest honor to Ted Kennedy for the work he has done on behalf of immigrants and invaders.  I think it’s called the Medal of the American Traitor.  Congrats, Ted.

    As you may know, The New York Times has again tipped its liberal hand, refusing to publish a commentary written by John McCain.  This is staggering since the paper had just published a piece on Iraq by Barack Obama and McCain’s article was merely a rebuttal.
