It was 26 years ago, as Tiger Woods was poised to win the 1997 Masters tournament, that he was the object of a joke by fellow golfer Fuzzy Zoeller about not serving soul food when he returned to defend his title. Zoeller was crucified in the ensuing uproar, which Woods could’ve helped diffuse by telling people to lighten up. But he didn’t. Now, though, Woods is the target of wokester ire himself after indulging in his own politically incorrect humor.

It all began at the recently concluded Genesis Invitational tournament when the 47-year-old Woods out-drove his much younger playing partner and friend Justin Thomas, 29, by 20 yards. The golfing great then decided to give his buddy a little dig, in an obviously pre-planned gag, by discreetly handing him a tampon (video below).

This greatly displeased the wokesters, “with many stating it [the prank] was disrespectful to women….

Did you hear about the new Chinese and Russian military doctrine stating that they will not, under any circumstances, attack a diverse opposing force?

Me neither.

Despite this, the Department of Defense (DoD) appears to be focusing more on making our side diverse than on making it devastating.

Just consider a video the DoD recently tweeted from its Office for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion’s annual DEI Summit, held February 15-17. The department proclaims in its tweet (below) that “[d]iversity is a strategic imperative critical to mission readiness and accomplishment.” How this is so was not explained — and never is.

When even your archrival praises you, with nothing to gain, you know it means something. So it’s most notable what “The Last King of America,” George III, said about George Washington’s refusal to become the first king of these United States.

“If he does that,” said the monarch, upon hearing that Washington would relinquish power and return to his farm post-Revolutionary War, “he will be the greatest man in the world.”

Washington did do that, too — twice. Though the story about him being offered the kingship of America is exaggerated, that sentiment did exist, and Washington rejected the proposal unreservedly. He also not only resigned his military commission after the war, but also resisted entreaties to seek a third term as his second one as president was concluding. In the process, he helped forge the greatest civilization history has ever known.

It was always there, just beneath the surface. Late radio giant Rush Limbaugh called it get-even-with-’em-ism. It’s that hostility that ever underlay racial quotas and that now, being more overt, is manifesting itself in “the largest racial tracking bureaucracy since the fall of Nazi Germany.”

That’s how Fox News host Tucker Carlson characterized Joe Biden’s new “equity”-oriented executive order (number 13985), signed Thursday and mostly ignored every day. It protects and elevates all conceivable groups in the United States — except one.

If you guessed “Straight white men,” go to the head of the class.

That is, unless you’re a straight white man. Then you can sit in the back of the of the electric, carbon-neutral bus to East Palestine.

Jamie Reed didn’t want to speak up. After all, she understood the possible career ramifications for exposing the malpractice at the pediatric “transgender” clinic for which she once worked. She also knew that what gave her revelations added credibility wouldn’t protect her. To wit: Reed describes herself as a “queer,” 42-year-old woman who’s “married” to a “transman” (a female masquerading as male). But she finally felt compelled to blow the whistle because her former employer’s medical practices are, as she puts it, “morally and medically appalling.”

In fact, the doctors at the Washington University Transgender Center (WUTC) at St. Louis Children’s Hospital tacitly acknowledged that they were experimenting on kids, even as they admonished Reed to cease questioning the “medicine and the science.” As those physicians put it, frequently, “We are building the plane while we are flying it.”

Reed didn’t intend to fly by the seat of her pants, however, when taking her job at the WUTC, where she was a case manager for four years (2018-2022). She assumed the institution’s governing philosophy — the earlier “gender dysphoria” (GD) is treated, the less anguish patients experience later on — was correct. These were experts, after all, so she supposed their conclusions were evidence-based.

But Reed would come to learn differently through her position….

People have long lamented “bystander apathy,” as we make a motto of “See something, say something!” Yet it now appears the powers-that-be are demanding victim apathy.

Of course, couple this with defunding and handcuffing the police, and the population will be held hostage by criminals until people plead for security — and they may accept it even at the expense of liberty.

Recently, an establishment called Nettie's House of Spaghetti in New Jersey announced they will no longer allow children under 10 to dine at their restaurant.

The move caused controversy, with some respondents applauding the policy and others accusing Nettie’s staff of being “child haters.” But the top commenter at MSN.com summed the issue up succinctly:

“We don't hate your kids,” she wrote. “We hate your parenting.”

Congratulations, madam, you won the Internet today.

If this seems a tempest in a teapot, know that it has implications for our entire society because it reflects a deadly modern problem:

Too many Americans are failing to civilize their children.

Many points are made when discussing the green energy agenda’s infeasibility. It has been noted that wind and solar can’t provide our energy needs, that powering the United States with wind would require an area three times California’s size. It has further been asserted that electric-car production and use actually cause more pollution than the gasoline status quo. It’s not just that electric vehicles’ manufacture creates massive releases of CO₂ (not a pollutant, mind you), either; it’s also that the mining of the metals and minerals required for their production causes environmental damage. Yet there’s a kicker here, too, a point seldom made:

Even if we could more cleanly and efficiently mine the materials in question, there simply aren’t enough of them to make green energy a reality.

That’s the conclusion of a geological study that, not surprisingly, hasn’t gotten the attention it deserves.

Should the Constitution just be destroyed, with even the original document burned so that it may never, ever rear its head again? Nobody of note has yet suggested this, literally, but the people tearing down our statues, renaming buildings, and now occasionally even saying Mount Rushmore should be destroyed may as well do so. It would be more honest than the continual attacks on the Constitution’s meaning under the pretense of constitutional rectitude.

One of the latest examples of the latter is a Thursday Atlantic article asserting, “Originalism Is Going to Get Women Killed,” which is essentially no different than stating our Constitution is going to get women killed (in-depth explanation later).

For sure, writer Madiba Dennie, despite being a lawyer (with the Brennan Center), has a real problem with the supreme law of the land. She evidences this with lines such as….
