Perhaps beset by “species dysphoria,” or maybe just faking it depending on the case, certain people claim to be animals trapped in a human body. Yet if their “identity”-oriented beliefs became a movement, “transspeciesism” (a phenomenon already suggested), it would raise eyebrows. What’s more, if this did happen, would it shock anyone to hear that “transspeciesism” had no scientific legitimacy, that it was politics, not science?

Similarly, is it surprising that, writes the Washington Examiner, “[t]ransgenderism is experiencing a crisis of scientific legitimacy”?

A six-year-old shoots his teacher in class, a 12-year-old fatally stabs her younger brother just before midnight, a 10-year-old murders his mother because she wouldn’t buy him a virtual-reality headset. This is just a sampling of our time’s heinous preteen crimes.

All three incidents occurred just recently, too.

Yet are these mere outliers and coincidences? Or do they reflect a troubling trend?

Homicide cases in American juvenile courts did rise by 35 percent between 2014 and 2018, the Department of Justice informed in a 2020 report. The spike was eyebrow-raising because it coincided with a period during which the incidences of many other types of crime were decreasing. Moreover, an increase was observed in both black inner-city and rural white communities.

Most of these murders, however, involved teens, many of whom were drug-involved. Yet there’s an obvious truth here: Our toxic, morally rotting culture is like polluted air, affecting all — including the youngest among us.

A 16-year-old girl collapsed and died after suffering a medical emergency during a high school flag football game in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sophomore Ashari Hughes, 16, who played for Desert Oasis High School, collapsed around 7:30 p.m. Thursday after a home game against Valley High School, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. She was hospitalized and died later that night, the paper said.

The tragic episode unfolded just three days after Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed after suffering cardiac arrest during a “Monday Night Football” match-up against the Cincinnati Bengals that was witnessed by millions. Hamlin is now “awake” and showing “remarkable improvement,” according to officials.

Despite heroic efforts, the 16-year-old Nevada student could not be saved.

He’s not exactly Mrs. Doubtfire, a male film-character who masqueraded as a female housekeeper in order to see his children, custody of whom he’d lost via divorce. But one Ecuadorian man is the closest thing to that you’ll find:

He has legally “changed his sex” in an effort to see his kids after an acrimonious marital split.

The thinking is vintage 2020s: In a time where identity is fancied reality, the easiest way to avoid anti-male discrimination is female impersonation.

One benefit of controlling the media, both standard and social, is that it becomes very easy to make an innovation appear an institution. Thus could our Left insert sexual devolutionary “gender” teaching into grade schools, something opposed by most Americans, and then instantly turn around and demonize opposition to it as a “Don’t say gay” attack on some kind of status quo. Metaphorically, it’s much like launching an unprovoked assault and then, when the hapless victim raises his arms to block your blows, asking him why he’s getting so violent.

This could come to mind when reading a Thursday USA Today piece whose title proclaims that “red America has declared war on corporate America” for being “woke,” and purports to be able to explain “why.”

There has been much talk about Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin’s dramatic on-field collapse Monday night of a probable heart attack — at the tender age of 24. But he wasn’t the only NFL figure who just recently experienced what is likely an odd cardiac event. Another one occurred just three days before, when former Jacksonville Jaguars offensive lineman Uche Nwaneri, 38, died of what has been described as probable “acute heart failure.”

But while Hamlin’s misfortune made news because he collapsed in the middle of a football game, Nwaneri’s passing raised eyebrows for a different reason:

He’d previously called for the jailing of people who refuse the Covid gene-modification agents (GMAs, aka “vaccines”).

President Donald Trump’s recent claim that the GOP’s underwhelming midterm showing wasn’t his fault, but was due to the “abortion issue,” has sparked great controversy. One commentator said Trump had poked “a hornet’s nest,” another called his comments “wise, effective, and prudent,” while yet another stated that avoiding a hypocrisy charge required that 45 take “a refresher in Anti-Abortion Apologetics 101” (and all three were at the same website on the same day!). But whatever one thinks of Trump’s remarks, for sure is that this is a teaching moment.

While we were told the Covid-19 “vaccines” were “safe and effective,” authorities long ago confessed that the drugs’ effectiveness was greatly overblown. But now a new Rasmussen poll finds that almost half of American adults aren’t so sure about the safe part, either — and more than a quarter believe they know someone whose death may be linked to the shots.

Would you take investment advice from a broker whose stock picks had been consistently wrong for almost six decades straight? “News” show 60 Minutes just might — that is, if the guest they chose to present as master prognosticator-prophet of doom this past Sunday is any indication. And the world’s second richest man, Elon Musk, certainly took notice.

“If I were a gambler, I would take even money that England will not exist in the year 2000.” So said biologist Paul Ehrlich, Bing Professor Emeritus of Population Studies of the Department of Biology of Stanford University and President of Stanford’s Center for Conservation Biology, decades ago.

Yet if Ehrlich were a gambler, he’d also be broke. In fact, he did lose a bet, a 1980, $1,000 wager with economist Julian Simon on whether the price of five precious metals would increase due to scarcity (Ehrlich’s prediction) or decrease/hold steady over the next decade.

But nothing was safer to bet on than the steadiness of Ehrlich’s bad prophet-of-doom prognostications.
