• Merry Christmas!

    Church-MajesticI wish you a very merry and blessed Christmas. And apropos to the Holy Day, I present you with 16th-century clergyman Robert Southwell's poem "The Burning Babe":

    As I in hoary winter’s night stood shivering in the snow,
    Surpris’d I was with sudden heat which made my heart to glow;
    And lifting up a fearful eye to view what fire was near,
    A pretty Babe all burning bright did in the air appear;
    Who, scorched with excessive heat, such floods of tears did shed
    As though his floods should quench his flames which with his tears were fed.
    “Alas!” quoth he, “but newly born, in fiery heats I fry,
    Yet none approach to warm their hearts or feel my fire but I!
    My faultless breast the furnace is, the fuel wounding thorns,
    Love is the fire, and sighs the smoke, the ashes shame and scorns;
    The fuel Justice layeth on, and Mercy blows the coals,
    The metal in this furnace wrought are men’s defiled souls,
    For which, as now on fire I am to work them to their good,
          So will I melt into a bath to wash them in my blood.”
          With this he vanish’d out of sight and swiftly shrunk away,
          And straight I called unto mind that it was Christmas day.

  • The Daniel Natal Show: Equality

    Scales of JusticeBy Selwyn Duke

    The below is an excellent presentation by Daniel Natal, and not just because he cites me in his opening. He's making a point I've long emphasized, a point everyone needs to be echoing if we want to restore our civilization: We need to dispense with concern over "equality" and return to what once was Western civilization's focus — virtue. The video is only five minutes long; meaning, it doesn't contain any "hamburger helper" (it's nutrient dense).

  • New Blog: AntiWhiteCrime.com

    Announcement:

    I've launched a new blog, AntiWhiteCrime.com. It's devoted to featuring what the mainstream media cover up: crimes against whites — especially, of course, hate crimes.

    It was just created, so it only has two postings so far. But more will be added.
  • Science? New Climate Curriculum Prioritizes “Emotion” Over “Rational Thinking”

    Back to School DuncecapBy Selwyn Duke

    “Passion governs, and she never governs wisely,” warned Benjamin Franklin in 1775. This apparently has been forgotten — so thoroughly, in fact, that now emotion is sometimes prescribed as a governing factor in the most obviously objective of realms: science.

    Just consider the Washington state Department of Health’s climate curriculum, which counsels teachers to emphasize “emotions” over “rational thinking.” The appeal is in “Climate Change & Pregnancy,” the second phase of the five part curriculum, which purports to aid students in learning the “intersections of biological, societal, and environmental issues.”

    The curriculum reads, “As teachers and students consider the impacts of climate change, we should be mindful of the emotional dimensions of the human experience. For too long, science and science education have prioritized my rational thinking. As we delve more deeply into the impacts of climate change using the data [from the Washington Tracking Network] and the practices of the Next Generation Science Standards, we must learn to pay attention to our own emotions and those of other people.”

  • Do We Have to Accept Transgenderism if it’s ‘Inborn’?

    Sex Symbols-ConfusionBy Selwyn Duke

    Question: Is the following a good summation of the argument used, starting decades ago, to normalize homosexuality?

    “Many researchers [are] taking a different view of homosexuality,” a newspaper wrote late last century. “Homosexuality once was thought to stem from psychological influences early in life. Now, many experts view it as a deep-rooted predisposition that does not change.” These “experts view it as a sexual orientation as immutable as heterosexuality…,” the periodical later added.

    You may recognize this as the foundation of the “born that way” argument, with such claims regularly used to promote the idea that if something is innate, questioning it smacks of bigotry. But I have a confession to make: I told a little fib (for effect). The above quotation is not from decades ago but from the Los Angeles Times on January 14, 2013 — and the subject wasn’t “homosexuality.” I’d inserted that term in place of another: pedophilia.

  • My Appearance on Beyond the Cover: Christianity Can’t be Killed — 12/15/2022

    This appearance is related to my cover story in the latest issue of The New American magazine: "Enduring Faith." The theme: Evil forces have always attacked Christianity, all throughout its history — and they always lose. They will lose again, too.

  • Tucker: Source Has Seen CIA JFK Assassination Files — Says the Agency Killed Kennedy

    Spy SilhouetteBy Selwyn Duke

    Ever since that fateful day, November 23, 1963, controversy has swirled around the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Entities ranging from the mafia to the Cubans to then-vice president Lyndon Johnson to the KGB to the CIA have been said to be complicit in his death. In fact, at one time or another, people “have accused 42 groups, 82 assassins and 214 people of being involved in the assassination,” CNN related, in 2013, author Vincent Bugliosi as having stated. But now a shocking new report lends credence to one of these theories.

    A source who has reportedly seen files the CIA is still withholding from the public — withholding in violation of the law — said when asked if the CIA itself killed Kennedy, “The answer is yes. I believe they were involved. It's a whole different country from what we thought it was. It's all fake.”

  • Government Must OUTLAW Religious Conversions, Says Writer

    HandsClaspedinPrayerBy Selwyn Duke

    “Government must see to it that conversions, whether open or on the sly, must be stopped,” opines writer Sumit Paul. “Mankind has already had enough of God and religion. Give it breathing space.”

    Paul is passionate about this position, too, so much so that he devotes a goodly amount of picturesque prose to trying to convert us to his position.

    Interestingly, he doesn’t mention if it should be legal to convert people from Republican to Democrat or vice versa, though.
