If you want to enter the United States via airplane, you first must have a negative COVID-19 test. And even with that, you still must wear a mask while flying and in airports. Why? Don’t ask why.

But it’s different if you illegally enter our nation: Then you can be released into American neighborhoods without a coronavirus test — even if you hail from a country in which SARS-CoV-2 is rampant. Why? Refer to the fourth sentence, above.

It turns out that this absolutely is Joe Biden administration policy; in fact, the Bidenites are also now considering making a negative China virus test a requirement for domestic flights.

They shoveled her driveway — and she shoveled dirt at them in return. By now you might have heard about Virginia Heffernan, liberal Lost Angeles Times writer and tacitly professed ingrate who recently responded to her “Trump” neighbors’ charity with malignity. Heffernan expressed confusion at how such people could be so helpful, apparently ignorant of how even studies show that conservatives are in fact far nicer than liberals.

The sound of breaking glass penetrates the night as smoke billows from the German parliament building, called the Reichstag, which is frightfully aflame. It’s the work of one man, say many; or maybe one conspiracy, say others. But the cost is severe, with the structure suffering $1 million in damages in 1933 dollars, though this pales in comparison to the damages to come. For the fire will be used to catalyze a series of events that will visit a far greater conflagration upon the world.

“You never want a serious crisis to go to waste,” said then-Obama administration Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel in 2009. German leader Adolf Hitler probably wouldn’t have liked Emanuel very much (the latter is Jewish), but he certainly would’ve agreed with his sentiment. For as is well known, Hitler and his Nazis seized upon their convenient crisis, the Reichstag fire on February 27, 1933, to strip fundamental rights and assume greater power in Germany. This is much like what’s occurring today, too, with Democrats and their Big Tech allies using the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol building as a pretext to attempt the same.

If we borrowed a characterization from AOC’s friend Ilhan Omar, we’d have to say that on January 6 at the Capitol “some people did something.” They did, too, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s telling of her experience that day is something else. The New York Democrat has maintained that although she wasn’t even in the Capitol building when protesters breached it, she nonetheless believed the grim reaper was nigh — and now she’s doubling down on her claim.

By now, most everyone knows the story of how Establishment Finance gamed the system to gag and stop GameStop investors. The “apex predators of capitalism, hedge funds are accustomed to raking in billions by driving companies into the ground and feasting on the carcasses,” as one observer puts it. But, somehow, it’s not okay for large groups of regular-guy investors to possibly drive a predatory hedge fund into the ground and perhaps feast on its carcass.

So what did happen the Thursday before last, when the powers-that-be halted acquisition of GameStop stock to allow billionaire hedge funds to shore up their most vulnerable “short positions”? Well, it’s a bit as if someone had intervened in the Battle at Kruger — a famous 2004 event in which Cape buffalo, shockingly, turned the tables on lionesses that were killing one of their young — and had isolated the herd so the predators could finish the baby off.

But perhaps underappreciated about the GameStop stop is how Establishment Finance used censorship to stymie its competition.

“Diversity” is now both dogma and buzzword, with many Americans accepting as supposition that it should be sought as an end unto itself. But a new report from the think tank the Center for Equal Opportunity (CEO) finds that campus diversity efforts are actually destructive.

In fact, the study indicates that such endeavors serve to intensify stereotypes and increase student alienation and dissatisfaction with their college experience.

Apple refused to give the FBI encrypted data from a phone belonging to Muslim terrorists who killed 14 people. Google refused to do artificial intelligence work for the Pentagon but then did work helping China censor its own people. But Bank of America (BoA) had no problem handing over the private information of innocent customers — to federal investigators on a witch hunt for Capitol riot “right-wing extremists.”

Well, it’s plain what side corporate America is now on: every one but yours.
