• Tucker: Democrats Have Declared War on Half of America (Because They Hate)

    Donkey-ElephantBy Selwyn Duke

For an interesting thought exercise, imagine there are two buttons. Push the first, and your political opponents, people whose actions you believe have been hurting the country, become “enlightened,” embrace all your views, and support your agenda. There is unity and all discord ends.

Push the second button, and your opponents’ don’t change at all. But they’re rendered powerless, and you’re able to punish them harshly so that they suffer intensely. Which button would you push?

If the first, you’re perhaps driven by love. If the second, your passion drives from hatred.

  • After Toppling Trump, Biden and Big Tech Will Now Target Nationalism Overseas

    Man in CrosshairsBy Selwyn Duke

“Someone, somewhere in the West puts his country first — this cannot stand!” appears to be the new attitude in Washington. That is, the incoming Joe Biden administration, not content to transition from “America First” to “America is worst,” now is targeting foreign patriotism for destruction. And the two countries reportedly in its crosshairs are Poland and Hungary, which Biden and other leftists have called “totalitarian.”

  • MyPillow Being “Cancelled” Because Founder Questions the Stolen Election

Big Man Stepping on Small ManBy Selwyn Duke

If it really is true that the “softest pillow is a clear conscience,” we may have to wonder how the executives at Bed Bath & Beyond, Kohl’s, H-E-B, and Wayfair will be sleeping in the near future. For governed perhaps by fear and lust for money, these retailers are now refusing to sell the popular MyPillow products. The reason?

MyPillow founder and CEO Mike Lindell is a Trump supporter who visited the White House Friday to sound the alarm about the stolen 2020 election.

  • Leftists Condemn Hearing “Both Sides”; Conservatives Defend it — and Both Are Wrong

    Donkey-ElephantBy Selwyn Duke

Put simply, there really are just two sides to things: right and wrong. Ironically, though, the relativistic Left generally denies this explicitly but often behaves as if it’s true; the Right will (usually) explicitly acknowledge that it’s true but often behaves as if it’s not.

Related to this is a recently-launched effort to “cancel” commentator Ben Shapiro and a defense of him by the Federalist. Explaining the story, that site’s Emily Jashinsky writes that the “Politico newsroom melted into predictable chaos after Ben Shapiro guest-authored its sacred Playbook newsletter on Thursday, one day after MSNBC host Chris Hayes did the same. The Online Left used that juxtaposition to rail against the ‘both sides’ ethos they believe dominates the corporate press, which equates mainstream conservatives with mainstream progressives.”

(Note: If the “both sides” ethos dominates the corporate press, the two sides must be the Bolsheviks and the Mensheviks.)

  • Feminism’s Career-over-kids Pressure Hurts Women — and Everyone Else

    2455472_blogBy Selwyn Duke

“No woman should be authorized to stay home to raise her children,” said French feminist icon Simone de Beauvoir in 1976. “Women should not have that choice, because if there is such a choice, too many women will make that one.”

If you think this sentiment died with de Beauvoir, think again. In 2017, Sarrah Le Marquand (is this a French thing?), editor-in-chief of Stellar, Australia’s “most read” magazine, wrote that it “should be illegal to be a stay-at-home mum.” So much for the “pro-choice” crowd.

Yet even when feminists wouldn’t legislate against devoted motherhood, they agitate against it. Fox News’ Suzanne Venker wrote in 2017, for instance, about how a professor speaking at her mother’s graduate-school reunion said that “women would need to deal with children as an ‘intrusion’ in their lives.”

  • Radical Leftist Arrested for Plotting to Attack Trump Supporters and Police on Inauguration Day

    Bullets on ConstitutionBy Selwyn Duke

He is, apparently, what his fellow travelers would call an “insurrectionist.” That is, if his ideology were different.

A former U.S. Army soldier named Daniel Alan Baker, who’d previously told Seattle CHAZ rioters that they “needed to get AK’s and start making bombs,” was arrested by the FBI for threatening to attack Trump supporters and police in Tallahassee on Inauguration Day.

  • Penn. Lt. Gov.: Saying Election Was Stolen Is “Not Protected Speech”

    Silenced ManBy Selwyn Duke

It raised some eyebrows when Governor Phil Murphy (D-N.J.), tacitly confessing incompetence, said in April, the Constitution is “above my pay grade.” Now we learn of another public official who failed Civics 101.

In a video posted on the Hill’s Twitter account Friday, Pennsylvania lieutenant governor John Fetterman, a Democrat, passionately stated that claiming the election was stolen is “not protected speech” (video below).

  • As Conservatives Sleep, Leftists Colonize Their Towns and Capture Their Children

    874847_lowBy Selwyn Duke

“It’s like Invasion of the Body Snatchers” said my best friend many, many years ago. Referring to the leftism sweeping hearts and minds, it was an apt metaphor. For those unacquainted with the reference, it concerns a film, made in 1956 and then remade in ’78, about an invasion of Earth by extraterrestrial plant spores.

There are no lasers or even guns and bombs in this story, as the aliens don’t just kill bodies but co-opt them. The other-world plants would grow large pods, and when one of them was in close proximity to a sleeping human, it would begin replicating the person. Upon the process’s completion, the “original’s” body would degrade and the duplicate would take his place, having precisely the same appearance, voice, and memories.

There was one major difference, though: The duplicate was part of a collective, devoid of true emotion and united with his alien fellows in the goal of seizing every human mind and heart on Earth.

  • Dollar-worshiping, Value-signaling Corporations Defund Republicans Who Challenged Biden Electors

    Greedy ManBy Selwyn Duke

President Trump isn’t the first politician to refuse to concede an election; Democrat Stacey Abrams to this day won’t concede the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial race, which she lost by more than 55,000 votes. And while Democrats demonize the Republican challenging of Joe Biden’s electors, Democrats have a history of challenging electors, starting in 1969, according to political analyst David Mark.

Despite this, the propaganda that the GOP’s electoral challenge is an “attack on democracy” is so effective that some corporations are now vowing to halt donations to the Republicans who mounted the effort.
