But there’s a distinct possibility that 2020 will see a brokered (or “contested”) Democrat convention, a situation in which no candidate wins enough delegates to capture the nomination on the first vote, allowing the delegates to then vote for whomever they please. This could mean choosing an identity-politics candidate, the establishment’s Joe Biden, or someone who hasn’t even run in the primaries — such as Michelle Obama or Hillary Clinton.

With “transitioning” in today, the Church of Sweden has joined the “gay” fray and is busy transitioning into a thoroughly “modern” institution. The latest example is how a Malmo church has just unveiled a new altarpiece: a painting titled Paradise that recasts Adam and Eve as two same-sex couples — tempted by a MUSS (Made-up Sexual Status or “transgender”) serpent.

They’ve seen firsthand the persecution of non-Muslims in Iraq, and the same is coming to Sweden, they warn — unless Europeans stop being “naïve.”

Sounding this alarm are Iraqi Christians such as church worker Layla (not her real name), who believe that Sweden’s and France’s current cultural trajectory, immigration patterns, and fertility rates will bring it to Islamist rule. “You lose control,” Layla, from Iraqi Kurdistan, told Christian magazine Världen Idag (VI).

They didn’t exactly echo writer Susan Sontag and call whites “the cancer of human history,” but many left-wing pundits do apparently consider Caucasian Democrat candidates a pox on the presidential primaries. That is to say, with Senator Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) exiting the race, Caucaphobic liberal commentators are raging against the whiteness of the remaining Democrat field — and are on the supposed “racism” of the Democrat electorate like white on rice.

The departure of Harris means that the next Democrat debate looks to be an all-white affair.

Believing your nation is illegitimate and perhaps should cease to exist shouldn’t be a résumé enhancer for a prospective leader. But presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg may disagree, as he recently expressed approval at the notion that the United States occupies stolen land — and that illegal aliens are merely exacting justice by “reclaiming” it. Moreover, Buttigieg actually asserted that illegals are “subsidizing everybody else.”

In an ironic twist, the previously incarcerated, on-probation London terrorist shot dead Friday launched his fatal knife attack at an event celebrating a rehabilitation program he’d been a part of — and he was there to discuss his thoughts on criminal-justice reform. Moreover, his two murdered victims were passionate believers in the program.

“Christians are exclusionary,” is the common gripe, usually registered by those who’d exclude Christianity. “We need to govern the world with universal values,” is the appeal, usually issued by those who scoff at true universals. These ideas again came to the fore in a recent social media debate involving a man who, though enduring job termination due to political correctness, himself became politically correct.
