• Trump Says NY Times on Racism Witch Hunt. Deeper Problem? Racism on the Brain

    874847_lowBy Selwyn Duke

The New York Times should have lost its credibility when, in the 1930s, its Walter Duranty became a mouthpiece for Joseph Stalin and lied to the world about the Soviet dictator’s genocide (instead, Duranty won a Pulitzer). But the Times is still doing its thing in our time, giving us all the news that’s fit, oh, well, critics might say, for the DNC’s public-relations arm. The latest example of such is leaked comments by the paper’s executive editor, Dean Baquet, indicating that the Times intends to pivot from the debunked Russia/Trump/collusion hoax to an effort to paint the president as a racist.

  • Green Machine: Child Climate Activist a Tool of Al Gore-esque Corporate Con

    Greedy ManBy Selwyn Duke

It used to be that Fagin types would merely recruit poor kids such as Oliver Twist to pick pockets, but today’s exploiters of innocence operate on a grander scale. The best current example may be 16-year-old Swedish “climate activist” Greta Thunberg (shown), who, it’s reported, is being financed by green corporate energy companies looking to turn a profit.

  • Why Al Sharpton and Other Democrats Don’t Care About Black Slavery

African Slaves in LibyaBy Selwyn Duke

If someone continually highlights black slaves long dead in a land where slavery is long dead, but ignores current day black slaves, would you conclude that he actually cares about black slavery? Or might you suppose he was running some kind of scam?

In this boat is virtually every contemporary leftist. But the poster boy for such hypocrisy just may be, quite notably, “civil rights” activist Al Sharpton.

  • Black Tea Party Figure: “Elizabeth Warren is a Despicable Human Being”

Big Man Stepping on Small ManBy Selwyn Duke

What do you call someone who sows racial unrest, and risks sparking inter-group violence, for political gain? A demagogue? Black Tea Party figure Lloyd Marcus calls such a person “a despicable human being” — and he has someone in particular in mind: Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.; shown).

What so upset Marcus was the presidential contender’s claim last weekend that a black man “was murdered by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri.” The senator was, of course, referencing the 2014 self-defense shooting of criminal Michael Brown by a Ferguson officer whose name I won’t reprint here (he may want to avoid the public eye). The senator was also lying.

As Marcus puts it, “Everyone knows Brown was shot while assaulting a police officer in his patrol car while Brown tried to take the officer’s gun.”

    This is not mere opinion.

  • Clothing Line Fools Big Brother Surveillance by Making You Look Like a Car

    Surveillance CameraBy Selwyn Duke

When dressing for a night on the town, you probably never figured on saying, “Hmm, should I choose the Chevy or Ford look? And, no, that isn’t actually an option. There is a new clothing line, however, that lets you “camouflage” yourself as a car in order to disrupt surveillance cameras.

  • On the Warpath, Liz Warren Ties Joe Biden in National Poll

    Banana RepublicBy Selwyn Duke

Elizabeth Warren couldn’t successfully claim American Indian identity. But she has claimed a statistical tie for first place in the 2020 Democratic nomination race with front-runner Joe Biden in a new national poll.

  • Millennial Becomes Unhinged After Boss Corrects Her Spelling of “Hamster”

Back to School DuncecapBy Selwyn Duke

Being simultaneously comical and tragic, perhaps nothing reflects our descent into Idiocracy more than millennials who’ll insist their misspellings of words are correct. Just yesterday I read an eyebrow-raising story about this that was quite timely, as I’d experienced millennial spelling moronity just the day prior.

My case involved a leftist who emailed me with some deep, substantive criticism: He said I was “insane,” “nuttier than a fruitcake” and “f*****g” nuts.”  I responded to him. While I generally don’t play the spelling Nazi, leftists’ characteristic superciliousness inspired me to mention to him, kindly, that he’d written “you’re” as “your” three times in six sentences. His response?

“I am under 40,” he wrote. “Your vs you’re is interchangeable.”

  • Priorities? Cops Threaten to Prosecute People Mocking Drug Dealer’s Hairstyle

    Jermaine Taylor—Carzy HairBy Selwyn Duke

Call it hare-brained — or maybe hair-brained. While London just surpassed New York City last year in homicides, and while British police couldn’t muster the will to investigate Muslim rape gangs, some U.K. cops are getting right on top of a real menace: Law enforcement in South Wales is threatening to prosecute people who mock a convicted drug dealer’s hairstyle.

  • Professor Argues Against “Truths and Knowledge”; Says Math=White Privilege

Back to School DuncecapBy Selwyn Duke

Does 2+2=white privilege? This appears to be the case, according to a college professor who says that mathematics “operates as Whiteness” and needs to be “rehumanized.”

The academic making Euclid roll in his grave is Rochelle Gutiérrez, a professor of mathematics education and Latino/a studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Academia’s answer to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Gutiérrez insists that we must “reconceptualize” mathematics as her invention, “Mathematx.” This mirrors “Latinx,” the Orwellian term social engineers would use to describe a Latino person in a “gender-neutral” way.

  • Rich Americans Fill Florida’s Tax Coffers as They Flee High-tax States

    Hammering AmericaBy Selwyn Duke

Ponce de Leon didn’t find the Fountain of Youth there. But Florida is finding many new residents, mostly older, to be a fount of funding. It’s the phenomenon whereby wealthy Americans, encouraged by tax code changes, flee high tax-states and take their cash to places that won’t drain them dry.
