Man, oh, man — or, should we say, person, oh, person? “Soon, there will be no more manholes in the city of Berkeley, California,” CNN tells us. “There will also be no chairmen, no manpower, no policemen or policewomen.” For you fruits and nuts haters, no, this doesn’t mean the city will be wiped off the map. What it does mean is that it will wipe gendered language from its codes.

We Americans are currently in a civilizational state historians William Strauss and Neil Howe would call the “Third Turning”: an unraveling. The so-called Left is making it happen, too, with conservatives enabling it by conserving yesterday’s liberalism and being those nice guys who finish last.

In Marxist circles, this stage would be called “destabilization” — the second of a four-part process to subvert a society and seize control. The first, third and fourth stages are, respectively, “demoralization,” “crisis” and “normalization.”

As the terrorist who attacked the ICE facility “and the many other heroic comrades before him have made clear, there are many ways to fight back against a violent fascist regime. Perhaps it’s time for more of us to put our thinking caps on.” This line wasn’t disgorged by an Antifa group, but by Teen Vogue “labor columnist” and NPR correspondent Kim Kelly. Kelly likened the now-deceased terrorist (shot by police), Willem Van Spronsen, to WWII partisans who fought the Nazis.

She’s not alone. Columnist and Black Lives Matter activist Shaun King called the 69-year-old Van Spronsen the “first martyr attempting to liberate imprisoned refugees,” implying that he was like John Brown, the abolitionist who led the Harpers Ferry raid in 1859.

Also, incredibly, Van Spronsen — a self-identified Antifa member who attacked the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma, Washington, on Saturday armed with an AR-15 rifle and incendiary devices — “appears to have been part of a May 5 episode of CNN’s United Shades of Americawith W. Kamau Bell,” reports Fox News.

Since psychiatrists have a whole thick book of “mental disorders” (the DSM-5), it’s too bad that it is essentially meaningless for diagnostic purposes.

That’s the conclusion of a new study, anyway, published in Psychiatry Research, which “concluded that psychiatric diagnoses are scientifically worthless as tools to identify discrete mental health disorders”…

The dirty little secret about “elite” universities is that they’re not so elite. It’s not just the politically correct curricula, either, as a new study shows that if SAT scores alone determined admissions, our nation’s most prestigious universities “would be wealthier, whiter, and more male,” as Zero Hedge summarizes it.

Moreover, this is without even factoring in the new smoke-and-mirrors “adversity score,” a new way to effect anti-white, race-based discrimination without actually calling it “quotas” or “affirmative action” (which themselves are euphemisms).
