• “Most” Americans for Impeachment? REAL Poll Shows 73% are Skeptical of It

    Donkey-ElephantBy Selwyn Duke

Many have heard of polls finding that most Americans, 51 percent in an October Fox News survey, want President Trump impeached. But a recent Monmouth poll casts doubt on this, showing that 73 percent of Americans have “very little or no confidence” in the impeachment process. Why is this poll so different? It’s simple:

Unlike the others, it doesn’t over-sample Democrats.

  • Black Muslim Academic: Islamic Slavery Devastating — and Ignored

    MuslimStarandCrescentBy Selwyn Duke

When Americans hear the word “slavery,” they generally think of the U.S. variety formally made illegal in 1865. But a type of slavery that has been practiced for 13 centuries straight — continuing to this day — is largely ignored, complains Senegalese academic Tidiane N’Diaye.

Professor N’Diaye, a black Muslim anthropologist and specialist in African civilizations, points out that Arab-Muslim enslavement has affected far more individuals than did the transatlantic slave trade, 17 million vs. 6 to 11 million, respectively. It also has been more brutal.

  • Will Darwinism Be Deep-sixed? Top Scientist Challenges Evolution

    Angry ApeBy Selwyn Duke

If ideas are also subject to the survival-of-the-fittest principle, is evolution doomed to extinction? This question is again raised now that yet another scientist has questioned Charles Darwin’s famous 19th-century theory.

At issue is the new book Foresight: How the Chemistry of Life Reveals Planning and Purpose, which has been endorsed by three Nobel Laureates. It was authored by a Dr. Marcos Eberlin, who himself has some weighty credentials, as he is “a physical chemist who specializes in spectrometry and supervises a large lab in Brazil that has produced hundreds of doctoral-level scientists, is former president of the International Mass Spectrometry Foundation and author of more than 1,000 research papers,”

  • Katie Hill Affair and its Aftermath are Signs of America’s Decline

    Banana RepublicBy Selwyn Duke

It’s truly not shocking that a political leader would be a reprobate behind closed doors. From Caligula to the Marquis de Sade to Bill Clinton, the depraved have always been overrepresented among the ruling classes. It is for this reason that what’s even more distressing about the Katie Hill affair than what she did is the reaction to it from the broader society — including “broadminded conservatives” defending her.

  • China Killing Political Dissidents to Steal Their Organs on an “Industrial Scale”

    Chinese stormtroopersBy Selwyn Duke

Mere months after Beijing resident Han Junqing was arrested for practicing Falun Gong, his family was told he’d died. They weren’t allowed to see his body until four weeks after his passing, and then only briefly, but what they saw was truly shocking.

“‘There were stitches at the throat area, using very thick black threads. The incision extended down until covered by the clothes,’ said his daughter, Han Yu, at a United Nations event on forced organ harvesting on Wednesday [9/26],” reports Quartz.

“Her uncle and other relatives managed to unbutton her father’s clothes,” the site continues. “‘They found that the incision was all the way from throat to the abdomen,’ said Han. When they pressed the abdomen, they found that his abdomen was stuffed with hard ice. Her father’s organs, she said, had been harvested.”

  • Ocasio-Cortez: White People Are Killing Us

    Prejudice SignBy Selwyn Duke

Whether or not our climate is changing, our political climate sure has changed, as evidenced by how Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is “an unapologetic bigot, someone who attacks others for the way they were born” — and gets away with it. And her latest attack concerns how “global climate change is the fault of a specific racial group.”

  • Roger Stone: Senate MAY Convict an Impeached Trump — and Only SEVEN Senators Have Ruled it Out

    Shell GameBy Selwyn Duke

Conventional wisdom says that the Democrat-controlled House may vote to impeach President Trump, but the GOP led Senate would never convict. But longtime Trump friend and confidant Roger Stone (shown) has a warning.

This thinking is “naïve,” he says.

  • Are Young Adults Tiring of In-your-face LGBTQ Activism?

    Sex Symbols-ConfusionBy Selwyn Duke

Most people know what LGBTQ stands for, but might the movement now be “Leading Girls and Boys TQuestion” — not just their sexuality, but also the movement itself? There are indications that, due its activists’ aggressiveness, this is precisely the case.

  • Was Hillary’s Attack on Tulsi Gabbard Part of a Plot to Destroy Trump?

    Shell GameBy Selwyn Duke

On the surface, Hillary Clinton’s “Russian asset” attack last week on Rep. Tulsi Gabbard appeared the rambling of a bitter, perhaps unhinged woman. One observer suggested that Clinton was holding a grudge because the Hawaii Democrat supported Bernie Sanders and opposed her rigging of the 2016 primary process against him. Perhaps so. Or maybe, exhibiting typical leftist intolerance of dissent, Gabbard’s anti-war stance really does make her our time’s Leon Trotsky.

But what if Clinton’s attack is actually part of a plan to defeat President Trump in 2020? What if Clinton’s theory that Gabbard may run third-party is, aside from a deep Democrat fear, precisely what more Machiavellian Dems want?

  • Fire up the Fat: Study Shows High Cholesterol May Help You Live LONGER

    Plate of RibsBy Selwyn Duke

“You mean there was no deep fat? No steak or cream pies or … hot fudge?” asked the Dr. Melik character, incredulously, in the film Sleeper’s future world. “Those were thought to be unhealthy,” replied colleague Dr. Aragon — “precisely the opposite of what we now know to be true.”

We’re not there yet, but a new analysis is turning diet doctrine on its head. As American Thinker’s Thomas Lifson reports, “High cholesterol, particularly LDL cholesterol, has been demonized for allegedly bringing on heart attack deaths. But an intriguing analysis of data published at Medium.com seems to show that total mortality risk is reduced by high cholesterol levels, even LDL cholesterol.”
