• Killing Virtue: School Pressured Into Removing Quote Encouraging Girls to Be Ladies

Bratty Little Girl in PurpleBy Selwyn Duke

“Years ago you knew who the bad girls were,” a woman close to me once noted. “Now you know who the good girls are.” For this we can thank the virtue destroyers, and they’ve just struck again, pressuring a Texas school into removing from a wall a quotation encouraging girls to be ladies.

  • Trump Slams Social Media Censorship of Conservatives; Files Discrimination Complaint Against Facebook

    Silenced ManBy Selwyn Duke

Social Media is totally discriminating against Republican/Conservative voices,” and “the Trump Administration … won’t let that happen.” So wrote President Trump on Twitter Saturday, in a shot across the bow of increasingly Orwellian social-media companies. This comes on the heels of a Friday discrimination complaint the administration filed against Facebook alleging that “the way the company targets ads can be used to screen out people based on race, sex or other protected categories,” reports the Washington Times.

While the latter complaint doesn’t relate to the censorship issue, it perhaps does signal the Trump administration’s determination to deal with social-media sleight-of-hand. As for its substance…

  • Democrat on Asian-descent Opponent: “Don’t Vote for the Ching-chong!”

    Prejudice SignBy Selwyn Duke

Leftists certainly know a lot about “racism” via personal experience — but it’s not generally through being its target. A case in point is Representative Bettie Cook Scott (D-Detroit), who used racial slurs in referencing primary election opponent Representative Stephanie Chang (D-Detroit) last Tuesday.

  • Dems Want Pelosi Gone

    Pelosi ScreenshotBy Selwyn Duke

The House and the White House are on the Democrats’ minds. And both ambitions are threatened by the current face of the party, which right now appears an amalgam of big-city pols Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.).

Recognizing this, many Democrats are upset that Pelosi — most famous recently for brain freezes and mangling words in press conferences — intends to seek the speakership if their party retakes the House.

  • Combating Terrorism: Ban Guns, Ban Knives, and Now, Says London Mayor, Ban Cars

    MuslimStarandCrescentBy Selwyn Duke

“A bad worker blames his tools,” my mother used to tell me. And bad leaders, it seems, blame the consequences of their bad policies on tools. A case in point is London mayor Sadiq Khan’s proposal to ban cars in certain areas of his city after Tuesday morning’s suspected Houses of Parliament terrorist attack.

In that incident, 29-year-old Sudanese Muslim immigrant Salih Khater injured three people after he crashed his vehicle into cyclists and pedestrians and then into the barriers lining the Houses of Parliament. So, of course, the solution is to ban cars.

  • Hating Whitey: NY Times Runs Advice Column on Curing White-skin Privilege

    Prejudice SignBy Selwyn Duke

No, it isn’t the Onion, just an example of truth being stranger than fiction: Proving why it hired anti-white bigot Sarah Jeong, the New York Times has just published an advice column on curing white-skin privilege.

The “Style” piece was inspired by a letter from a reader going under the name “Whitey,” and, well, you can’t make this stuff up (or can you?). Here’s part of it:

  • Media Collusion: 100-plus Papers Agree to Simultaneously Run Anti-Trump Editorials

    Con ManBy Selwyn Duke

“The dirty war on the free press must end,” writes CNN. Others would say that the freedom-driven war on the dirty press must continue. And this assertion may be buttressed by the media’s latest move: collusion in the form of a coordinated press attack on President Trump involving more than 100 newspapers.

  • Will Trump be Trumped by “Vicious … Conniving” Omarosa and Her N-word Accusation?

    Man in CrosshairsBy Selwyn Duke

In this age of anti-American virtue-signaling and identity politics, perhaps it can now be said that race baiting is “the last refuge of a scoundrel.” This comes to mind with the allegation, made by former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman (shown), that in the past President Trump used the n-word.

(Yes, it’s that word which, a bit like the name Voldemort in Harry Potter, you dare not utter — even for illustrative purposes — lest you get the Dr. Laura Schlessinger treatment.)

The accusation is in Newman’s (unlike everyone else, I’m not on a first-name basis with her) new book, Unhinged. Perhaps unsurprisingly, however, Newman, who has been described by commentator Piers Morgan as “a vicious, duplicitous, lying, conniving, backstabbing piece of work,” has already contradicted part of her book’s claim in an interview.

  • Michael Moore: My New Film Will “Bring Trump Down” — and He’ll Be Our “Last President”

    Divided AmericaBy Selwyn Duke

Leftist filmmaker Michael Moore says that his new “documentary,” Fahrenheit 11/9, will help “bring Trump down.” Curiously, however, he also predicts that President Trump will “win the 2020 election” and be the “last president.” So is he implying that he and his fellow travelers, after destroying Trump, will also destroy the presidency itself?

Far more likely is that Moore (shown) is contradicting himself because he’s speaking based on emotion, which changes with the wind. Nonetheless, Moore’s passionate useful-idiot advocacy of the anti-Trump “resistance” certainly does undermine our republic.

Moore’s title, Fahrenheit 11/9 — referencing the day after the 2016 election — is a play on his 2004 film Fahrenheit 9/11; its title itself was, of course, a play on novelist Ray Bradbury’s dystopian 1953 book Fahrenheit 451. While Bradbury was upset that Moore “stole” his title, the latter’s film has something else in common with Bradbury’s famous novel: it’s largely a work of fiction.

  • NY Times Stands by New Editor Who Sent Vile Anti-white Tweets

    Prejudice SignBy Selwyn Duke

“Dumba** f*****g white people marking up the internet with their opinions like dogs p*****g on a fire hydrant.”

It’s no shock that the preceding was tweeted out on the Web. What may surprise some is that the tweeter was the New York Times’new editorial-board hire Sarah Jeong — and that the paper is standing by her even though other similarly vile bigoted tweets have surfaced. It’s all part of how the country’s continuing descent into the progressive (“regressive,” actually) abyss and Trump Derangement Syndrome are causing the Left’s mask to drop ever further.

With Jeong being a South Korean immigrant, the more ingenuous among us might think she’d show a bit of gratitude toward her adopted nation and its majority people. But she has apparently learned her leftist professors’ lessons well, and it showed in her bigoted web emanations. Here’s a sampling:
